Sven and his staff were incredible. Years of skill full craftsmanship has gone into creating handcrafted cabins and interesting fittings. Breathtaking setting surrounded by nature giving a sense of tranquility. Such dedication. We stayed in Raktu Cabin for two nights. The one downside is the fact the beds are small. There would easily be room for a queen or king size bed. Sharing a double bed with my partner is way too squashy. “You have a hidden gem in the wilderness” Thank you

So many magical moments. Silently rushing over the tundra with a team of excited dogs, the purple pastels and bright oranges of the arctic sky, reindeer softly emerging from snow-clad birchwoods, salted lamb, lingonberry jam, sheer exhilaration. Its hard to convey the joy and awe of a sled run with Sven Engholm. We were so well looked after by Sven and his friendly and talented guides Astrid, Maria, Emma and Carl, who were also great company. The food, accommodation and thrill were excellent. The Northern Lights surrounded by howling dogs, candle-lit sauna and puppy cuddling were just extras.? Physically quite demanding and not for the faint-hearted but utter bliss for the adventurer. All in all, an outstanding experience that we will never, never forget. A heartfelt thank-you from Scotland. Nikki & Cara xx

Les chalets sont incroyables et l’accueil chaleureux, c’est le genre d’endroit duquel on ne voudrait jamais repartir. N’hésitez pas, ce lodge vaut vraiment le détour malgré l’isolement géographique. Profitez en pour faire du chien de traîneau ou ski ski avec Turgleder, ou les deux ;)
