This is a beautiful, clean and recently renovated hotel. The room was beautiful (207) with a lovely view to the mountains. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and breakfast was plentiful and delicious. There was no fridge in the room and the power points were in a very strange place behind the middle of the bed head … but overall a lovely place .

We had a 1 night stay and it was such a wonderful experience! The staff were very warm and accommodating. We were having some drinks on the front porch and they brought out some homemade pastries, that were delicious. Such a nice touch! Breakfast was amazing! Everything was homemade and fresh. The staff wanted to make sure everything was perfect. The owner came in at breakfast and welcomed every person. She was so lovely. We had a great visit with her before we left. We would highly recommend the Green Yard Hotel!!

Wonderful hotel. When we arrived we were warmly greeted. The room we got was spacious, very clean and had a nice bathroom with a great shower. The bed was very comfortable and the comforter was so cushiony we just melted into it. Breakfast was enormous with fresh pastries of all kinds, eggs, etc. The coffee was the best I had on the trip. The owner stopped by each table to ensure we had everything. Very warm person we fell in love with. I highly recommend!

We were a group of four and stayed one night at this lovely hotel. When we checked in we were offered tea that was served with delicious homemade baked goods. There was a delightful courtyard, where we sat and enjoyed our drinks and sweets. The breakfast was incredible with homemade jams, bread, cakes, salads, freshly cooked hot eggs, porridge and hot coffee. The hotel staff was so welcoming, helpful, and friendly. We met the owner and had a wonderful conversation through translators sharing our stories. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. This is a great place to stay in Karakol.

Great Guest House! The staff was very helpful and kind. The rooms were cleaned and freshened up daily. The morning breakfast was fabulous, with many options. I would highly recommend if you are staying in Karokol, you need to stay at the Green Yard.

We were a group of 18 travelling in Kyrgyzstan and stayed one night here on our trip . Very cozy and charming hotel. A bit away from main town but the charm of the hotel compensates for the distance. Rooms are spotless , toilets are a bit tight but adequate. The breakfast room was lovely and breakfast awesome. Staff served with loving care. The apple and fruit orchard behind the hotel was a bonus to stroll around. Front desk staff were helpful as well. They had a good selection of wines that you could buy, and the small craft store had some interesting stuff. A great stay in Karakol

Fantastic! Breakfast amazing! Best stay we had on our whole trip, a bit difficult to find and don’t be put off by the outside. I would come again. Staff helpful. And easy to fill up waters! 4 people staying, and really good experience all round.

I loved staying at Green Yard in Karakol. It has a lovely, peaceful atmosphere and was very clean. Beautiful garden with a swing and cosy alcoves. Breakfast was AMAZING! They served american style pancakes AND crepes. They have a lovely souvenir shop selling good quality handwork. Love that have sorting bins. Highly recommend!

Absolute gem of a place. It is family run and has just such a lovely feel about it. I was there as part of Mountains Ultra so we took up a lot of the rooms. The food was superb at breakfast and for our presentation dinner. The rooms are absolutely spotless - I have never known q hotel where you have to take your shoes off upon arrival (they provide indoor shoes) but this is because place is so clean. It's a short taxi ride to town centre and the taxis are so cheap and reception will order them. The area feels very safe and Karakol and nearby mountains are fantastic.
