We stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton on 22nd May 2025 to celebrate our anniversary and were blown away by the service. We were upgraded to a Deluxe King Room with a lovely garden view - the room was spotless and beautifully presented.
To mark our special occasion, we received a personalised card, welcome chocolates and macaroons, complimentary drinks, and a dessert on the house while dining at Ethereal Restaurant. Every detail felt thoughtful and genuine.
The dinner was outstanding - we savoured every bite. Breakfast the next morning was just as impressive, with a great variety of hot and cold options, juices, teas, and coffee.
The hotel’s amenities, including the pool and gym were clean and inviting. One suggestion would be to add a heated spa for winter months.
We felt so well looked after and have already recommended this place to friends and whānau. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

We had the best stay at the Hilton in Karaka. Lovely location, with a bit of country life on the outskirts of Auckland city. Food was divine. Bar prices were a little on the expensive side but it didn't affect our mood.
If only we had time to try out the pool and gym!
