We had a fantastic experience at Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp! After an hour-long boat ride, we stopped here for lunch, and it was the perfect spot to relax. The setting is beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery and a peaceful atmosphere by the lake. The food was delicious, fresh, and exactly what we needed after the boat ride. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making sure everything was just right. It was the perfect combination of great food, stunning views, and excellent service. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Lake Naivasha.

The accommodation is very old & tired. The furniture was rickety & felt unsafe to sit on all fitting rusty & loose No coffee left to make a drink not sure if milk should be there but there was none There are two bedside lights Not anywhere good enough once it gets dark

Stayed here one night between Mara and Amboseli parks. The enormous tents are above ground on wooden platforms. We were aware of various problems in the Kenyan lake areas due to flooding before we came, so we were not surprised by obvious damage in the bathroom area which had some rising damp, although the towels felt damp too. Our huge tent was sparsely furnished and felt quite cold in November so we were very grateful for the hot water bottles! The mosquito nets were also very welcome being near to the water line. While our tent was a little cold, this was all made up for by the super friendly staff especially Samuel. We were the only people staying that night and the food was simple but tasty and freshly cooked to order for both supper and breakfast. Housekeeping staff were very prompt and attentive and found a head torch left under a pillow just before we departed. The boat trip to see hippos and various bird life plus the nature walk on Crescent island was a welcome change from sedentary game drives. Standing a few metres from a huge male giraffe gives a totally different perspective! Thank you team at Naivasha camp - Asante Sana

Great camp for our stay in Naivasha. On a 2-week safari, this was the one place that was closet to camping, but in no way is it a camping experience. Room: bedroom and bathroom are covered by an enormous canvas tent; bedroom portion has canvas walls. Floor is wood. Bathroom is cinder block, lacking any upscale finishes, but is huge and everything works. Bed was extremely comfortable. Room has electricity, but no AC. Food: food was served buffet style, and was excellent. Location: right on Lake Naivasha. Great views from the camp.

We had a great time! The tent was great, food was very good, the boat ride was excellent! Ian and Isaac were great boat guides. In fact all the staff was very friendly. My wife and I were thrilled to wake up to the sound of the hippos. And my wife thoroughly enjoyed all the wildlife photography opportunities. We loved it!

We stayed for a couple of nights over xmas at short notice, having been let down by our original accommodation. We paid over £100 a night, which is a total rip off in my opinion, but we had no choice at such short notice. The tents are OK, but are quite shabby. There was no hot water in the sink, but the shower was OK in one of the tents, but a dribble in the other. It's very close to the lake and the view was lovely. Breakfast was good, but dinner was disgusting. We arrived for food at 8.15pm and it looked as though it had been sat there for hours. All dried up and looked vile. We had the soup, but nothing else for this reason. In my opinion, its overpriced and defo not worth the money. Its also really noisy as the public beach is next door and the music was still going well past 1am.

Horrible! A few friends had gone and even decided to change their hotel! From what I heard the place stank and almost all of the pictures you see on social media are photoshopped. The tents are leaky and cold and are quite dirty. Everything was a disaster!

My family and I had an amazing one day stay at Naivasha Crescent Island Camp which exceeded our expectations. This charming campsite not only provided us with a place to stay, but also served as a gateway to a peaceful, breathtakingly beautiful world. The friendly and helpful staff made us feel like part of their family as soon as we arrived. With stunning views that are both a visual feast and a spiritual soother, the camp is located in an absolutely gorgeous area on the Lake Naivasha Shows. After an exciting day of exploring, guests could expect a comfortable and well-appointed stay that would guarantee a good night's sleep. Proximity to the stunning beauty of Lake Naivasha and diverse fauna was without a doubt the highlight of our trip. It was refreshing and revitalizing to be able to relax and reconnect with nature in such a peaceful setting. In conclusion, for anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable getaway, I highly recommend Naivasha Crescent Island Camp. This campsite offers the perfect combination of rustic charm, coziness and friendliness - perfect for a quiet getaway or family trip. It is a gem that perfectly captures the essence of Kenya's breathtaking scenery.
