AN absolutely lovely hotel, an old house from the 17th C. The old part is like an oriental labyrinth, public rooms decorated with carpets,cushions,sofas etc etc. Food was good, the bedrooms cosy , clean and very original. Their nice garden is with a pool.

- no shuttle service was made known Room- the room is built with cave stones. mattress slightly too soft, you sit and it sinks at the side. AC location is weird, it mostly blows into the small room and toilet. Haha. Wonder why. They had small bottles of shampoo, 2 bottles of water, towels, kettle in your room. No coffee or tea packets though. Food- typical turkish fare for breakfast, bread , jam, beans and salad. They have a coffee machine. Partner was damm happy. Was not happy during our first dinner there. Not sure why they squeezed us into the small room, on the left, after the buffet line. Feedback and they changed after. Service- helpful. But they don't really speak even basic English but they kindof understand. Location - about 10 minutes walk to town centre but do note it's possibly 15 minutes back as it's uphill. They had a bath hamman there but it's closed during our stay. And too windy for balloon ride too.

My husband and I returned to Kapadokya again this year and enjoyed another wonderful evening at the beautiful Melis Cave Hotel. The accommodations are always perfect, clean and the beds are comfortable after a long day of traveling and touring the area. The lovely accommodations were followed by a relaxing breakfast in the garden. We will be back again next visit for sure ! Thank you Melis Cave !

Nestled in the busy part of the town, it looked dated, but fitted in well with the cave surroundings. The rooms were spacious, well appointed and had hot water running through the taps 24 hours. There was a Turkish bath place in the bathroom. There are 2 swimming pools, the restaurant sitting area is adequate- the food delicious and catered to Turkish cuisine. The WiFi signal was good. There were 2 good dogs there very cute and friendly. There are cave houses in the mountains nearby. These are not used for residence.

This is the only hotel in Cappadocia that me and my husband love in whole Turkey. The owner Mr.Misud was very friendly and all other staffs as well. Very accommodating and they took care of the guest very well. The place is very cozy and full of history of 900 years. And we love Badem , the friendly dog that own the place (hahahaha).He is lovely boy and very well behaving. A must stay hotel in Cappadocia!

Wonderful property, has pools, good dining area, rooms are great with jacouzi, courteous staff, good food Hotel is close to Urugu village. This property has wineyard as part of its garden, pool side bar etc. The restaurant is in cave and all rooms are not in cave

We family of four stayed in Melis hotel and it was fantastic experience in Cappadocia. This place had all amenities and the cleanliness and the friendliness of staff was amazing. You can keep half day only to just relax in the courtyard in nicely mowed law. There were swimming pools with very nice temperature water. Our requirement of vegetarian food was also taken care very well. Overall I would say it is very nice place to stay.
