The hotel is located right in the Liuhe Night Market in downtown Kaohsiung, just seconds away. It is adjacent to the Formosa Formosa MRT station and takes less than 5 minutes to walk. The hotel facilities are average but clean, and the waiters are friendly and willing to help. We were stranded due to a typhoon and hurriedly booked a room on Ctrip. The price for Saturday night was NT$1,499, which was very reasonable. When booking, I asked the hotel to arrange a high-floor and quiet room, but it was also provided. I was a bit surprised. It would be better if breakfast can be provided.

The room is clean and the water pressure in the bathroom is sufficient, but the sound insulation is really not good.

The staff are very nice and helpful. However, the food is just fair except the bottle milk which is a MUST for try. The website photos are too nice which made me a bit disappointed when I saw the real room. Anyway, the design and the interior decoration is very unique. The location is definitely very good especially if you want to try on the night food market. So close to the Liu He might market.

The breakfast food is rich, but please note that boiled water is not provided, so points will be deducted.

The hotel's triple room was marked as a room with a bathtub on the booking website. When I checked in, it was told that there was no bathtub. I had no choice but to accept the change to a quadruple room, which was 10 square meters smaller. In addition, the parking lot only had about 20 parking spaces. And it adopts a first-come, first-served parking system (meaning that as long as the parking space is full, subsequent tenants will have to park in the special parking lot that is said to be 5 minutes' walk away, and as long as there is a parking lot under the hotel, no matter whether you drive out or not, how late will it be? There is guaranteed to be a parking space when you come back. It is recommended that friends who want to stay in this hotel must check in in advance before driving out, because no matter how late it is, you don’t have to worry about not having a parking space in the hotel and having to park in a special parking lot outside.) Breakfast is also Average standard. I can't say what I remember about it. Anyway, I won't want to stay here again.

I checked in at the International Citizen Hotel International Citizen Hotel in Kaohsiung at 22:35. I was tired and went to bed at 24:00. The room is room 1501. I got up at 5:30 in the morning and went to have breakfast at 6:30. Yesterday's dinner was early around 4:30, so I ate plenty in the morning. Depart the hotel at 7:30 and go to Lotus Pond. Kaohsiung International Star Inn was in Kaohsiung City, but I just slept.

Hotel location is good , close to train station and close to night market but hotel may need some renovation as it’s getting old, the price is good but if you search for the newer hotel nearby , you can get better deal. It was our first time in kaohsiung and we were in rush so we didn’t have a chance to do research but the bed is comfy.

The location is good for self-driving, but the service of Ubike is available just 50m away. The breakfast is awesome, and the room is clean with a wonderful city view. The staff is polite, supportive and always wearing a smile. The facilities of swimming pool, mini gym, and sauna are available. Highly recommended and will definitely order again.
