Hotels Near Liouhe Night Market in Kaohsiung

Staff were nice and friendly . Some were hard to communicate with because of English translation. The food was plentiful but not that tasty but it was healthy and consistent. They allowed leeway to be able to get laundry done however the machines were complicated. The dryer was not free and sometimes wasn’t fully dry after using. The room was small but nice. There's very limited English television options. They have rental bikes available for a deposit. It very close to MRT and Liouhe Market and you can easily go to other places.

Pros: Location is very good, just 2 mins walking distance from exit 11 Formosa Boulevard Station. Liuhe Night Market just outside the hotel. Room is big enough for 3 persons, clean, but the bed not very comfortable. It’s more like an Inn than hotel. Cons: Exit 11 Formosa Boulevard Station, there’s only have staircase, no escalator or elevator. You need to go slightly further to take elevator. It’s very difficult to locate the building as the hotel shared the building with other hotel and some offices I guess. We couldn’t find the hotel English name from outside the building, even until we go to the lobby, they never show “Kaohsiung I Hi Hotel” This hotel is at level 7 and 10 only, the lobby is at level 10.

The staff is polite and very friendly, the pool is superb! Breakfast foods are good 😋

It was first bad hotel experience booking thru trip.com. Traveled with 2 kids under 13. We drove to Kaoshiung from Taipei. Arrived late night. There's no parking lot provided but have to park somewhere 3 walk at a opposite the hotel. Paid TWD100 per entry on the following day before leaving. The hotel looks good at the public areas, except our room. We were given a room at 6th floor. It looks like under construction and no other guests were staying on that floor. If we were not 4 together, I dare not stay alone. What was disappointed was the room is very very old. Everything old style. The carpet is dirty. We have to wear the paper slippers (the worst hotel slipperstgat I had ever seen) to walk on the carpet. We tried to push a bed to the side to the wall, but the floor under the bed is very dirty, even found a plastic slipper (not a pair). We guessed it was left by the previous guest and the room was not totally cleaned. We quickly put the bed back. The shower pipe also not very well working and weak power water. Quite disappointed. 2 Good points: 1. The hotel is near to the night market: It's just 3~5 mins walk from hotel. 2. The breakfast was quite good.

Everything was fine, except the wifi. We had problems reconnecting to their wifi after a couple of hours. Since it’s night time, we just let it be and went to bed. However, before we headed out the next day, I let the front desk staff knows that we are still having the same issue. He noted and said that they will try to fix it. When we came back, we couldn’t connect to the wifi at all. So I called up to the reception and asked what’s happening, the staff said he will send someone to our room to check what’s wrong with the wifi or router or whatever. Nobody appeared at the door 15 mins after the call. So I asked my friend to call the reception desk and ask what’s the situation. They said they have to call the wifi service provider and they can’t help to fix the issue now. That’s it. I was quite upset about it honestly 🥲

The hotel location is good. The room is clean, although a bit small, as there is not much space between the bed and the TV. Also, there is not much choices for a vegetarian for the breakfast. Nevertheless, the price performance worth the stay.

Front desk staff are super professional and helpful, particularly Ms Wu and Mr Wang, very efficient service even in the middle of the night, when ceiling has water dripping.  Very comfortable seating area in lobby with 24 hours coffee, tea and hot water.  There’s no heating, the room can get quite cold near ***** new year time.  Very close to 六合夜市 night market and Formosa subway station. Good value for the money paid.

I like breakfast it has a wide variety of choices.The rooms are small but comfortable.I just hope they still put a tooth brush and toothpaste for free. The staff are friendly and efficient. The location is perfect for going around and easy access to the train station and Uber. The Rent Car is also just beside the hotel. Near Mc Donald's, KFC and 7-11. Thanks.Airline Inn.

I stayed for three nights. The first morning housekeeping knocked on my door at 9:45 wanting to clean the room. I've never been disturbed so early in the morning by housekeeping. Also, a phone call would have been better appreciated as I was still in bed. Second day there I return to my room after a day of sightseeing and find a pair of men's underwear in my room. Housekeeping also did nothing to clean or organize my room. I'd have to think twice before I'd stay there again.

Very chic decor. Room was comfy and spotless, located right outside the main MRT/Rail Station which makes it an ideal base to explore the surroundings. Just remember to bring your own amenity bag~
