Love River
The hotel is spacious and breakfast is good. No swimming pool. There is a mall near hotel and can walk to that shopping mall in 8 minutes. The hotel provides public washing machine & drying machine. They also have a kid’s play area thought very small.

Overall it was a decent budget hotel. I really like the location it’s easy to access and a lot of Halal eateries around there. I recommend booking this hotel if you are in Kaohsiung!

Kaohsiung Siaogang Airport
Very convenient, have been here many times. The environment is hygienic and comfortable. I will come again next time. Wish there were more restaurant options nearby, but it would be convenient to have takeout delivered.

Sanduo Shopping District/Wufu Shopping District
The place is ok. The staff is just ok, I can't say they are too good either. They have a non-sense pedantic rule that you must collect your dishes and put them in a tray place. I felt like I am in McDonalds or in a trashy human factory. Meanwhile the staff are sitting doing nothing. As a guest, when I go to a hotel I want to relax, I have enough with tidying up and cleaning things at home, the least thing I want at a hotel is doing the same. Breakfast itself is ok but milk tea is EXTREMELY sweet and no milk tea option without sugar so if you do not wanna get diabetes type B you won't be able to enjoy breakfast. The rest is mostly very high carbs suggary or fried fatty stuff except a small salad buffet and scrambled eggs. There was no coffee during my stay as coffee machine was broken so cannot rate it. Checkin should be conveniently done with a kiosk downstairs but when I came it was broken too. The place feels comfortable and private. Water has only BOILING HOT water. So it does not have a mixer so you can shower for the first minute, then water is boiling super hot and there is no way to mix it up with cold water or make temperature cold down. It is funny cause travelling around the world I found some countries where it is difficult to get hot water but first time in my life finding a hotel where it is difficult to get cold water. Location is just ok, it is a bit far from MRT but most staff is nearby.

Sanduo Shopping District/Wufu Shopping District
Downstairs of Hanlai Yiju is Hanshen Department Store, and it is close to Dali and Xinjuejiang business districts and Central Park. Not only is the location great, but the service is also very good. When he saw us taking our luggage, he took the initiative to ask if we wanted to store it in the public space. It also smells good and has a great atmosphere. Although you cannot use the swimming pool, gym, sauna and other facilities, you have to use the Hi-Lai Hotel. However, the price is also cheaper, which is suitable for those of us who are not very good at using facilities. The possible disadvantage is that there are fewer TV stations, and there are no YT or movies to watch, but this is also an advantage. It allows us to spend more time with each other, go shopping, and enjoy the scenery. At least the picture quality is OK.

Liuhe Night Market/Formosa Boulevard Station
The hotel location is good. The room is clean, although a bit small, as there is not much space between the bed and the TV. Also, there is not much choices for a vegetarian for the breakfast. Nevertheless, the price performance worth the stay.
