Hotels in Liuhe Night Market/Formosa Boulevard Station, Kaohsiung

It's in a great location, less than a 5-minute walk from Kaohsiung Station's Formosa Boulevard Station. There's a cafe next to the first floor, so I think it's the perfect environment for a relaxing stay. The staff speaks English and will give you detailed information about the relaxation space and kitchen during your stay. The building isn't new, but the rooms are stylish and the shower water pressure is great. There is a free relaxation space in front of the room, and there are various magazines and books (including stylish Japanese magazines and books) where you can work on your computer. I stayed here for multiple nights, and was able to relax outside of my room after returning to the inn.

The location is superb, close to Liuhe Night Market, very convenient for tasting food or shopping. The interior decoration is exquisite, full of texture and careful details, making people feel at home. Highly recommended to friends traveling to Kaohsiung!

Great room. Very spacious and nice design. Only problem is soundproofing to the corridor. Fridge quite noisy, but I just unplugged it at night. Big bonus is the laundry facilities, which are free apart from NT 30 for detergent from reception. Dryers were slow, but can't complain as it was free. Lots of nice food places nearby, although the peanut place just round the corner always had massive queues so I never tried it even though it looked amazing. There's an food recommendation map in the lifts, so that's helpful.

The public space is large, especially the table, which is very suitable for a group of friends to play board games. The service of the homestay is very good. I originally paid for an extra bed. As a result, my friend could not come temporarily, and the homestay was willing to refund again.

The hotel is located in the city center, with convenient transportation and a well-developed lifestyle. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. If you are visiting this city, this would be an ideal place to stay.

Good location, big room! But the only drawback is that there is no elevator. When purchasing on the platform, it was not stated that there is no elevator. It was only after the refund time that we learned that there is no elevator. It is recommended that you need a strong man to book this room!

The sparrow is small and complete. Convenient transportation and quiet environment. Breakfast is sufficient!

The staff is helpful, the room is clean and quiet in the evening. They offer breakfast and free ice cream, light snacks and drinks throughout the day. Giving me free snacks made me felt accommodating after walking for a long day. It is about 10-15 minutes walk from the Formosa Boulevard Station, which is convenient. It is also close to the night market if you want dinner. Comparing with other hostels and hotels in the same area, the room rate here is cheap and reasonable. I would want to stay here again if I come to Kaohsiung next time :).

After some other less than desirable hotels this one was perfect. Economical yet perfect. Worth a taxi ride from further away. But it's 4 to 6 blocks from the famous street food market. I recommend the seafood soup half way down on left. The hotel breakfast was tasty and varied a bit, 7 to 930am.. The staff speaks some English. There is a coin operated laundry washer and hot dryer July 2025. Elevators are fast enough and efficient. Highly recommend this place, to me it seems 4 star but more boutique like.

Pros: Very near to Farmosa Boulevard train station and Liuhe night market. Very convenient. Free tea break refreshments from 4-10 pm. Clean, great service. Coin operated laundry within 1 minute walk. Cons: No hand wash detergent at basin. Shower head position is very low Overall very good for the price. Will stay again when I am back to Kaohsiung.
