It is very suitable for parents and children to stay. The children play in the playroom until they don’t want to leave. The environment and hygiene are very good. Although the breakfast does not have many varieties, it tastes very good! The staff are very friendly. It happened to be a Christmas event and the children got small gifts and were very happy😃

Location is fantastic at Pier 2. Light rail station next to hotel. Can connect to MRT easily. Walking distance to many eateries. Staff at front desk and restaurant is friendly and helper. Widespread of buffet breakfast.

A great location with great service. You're right next door to Kaohsiung Pier 2. The rooms may not have windows, much like ours didn't. If they do have windows, you can't open them. They're not particularly spacious in this hotel but you are very close by to numerous restaurants and cafes too, so it works out well. At time we could hear noises from the corridor so be weary of that. Busses are nearby but the times don't always align with google maps. Was a decent place, adequately priced and suitable for the time we had. But if we go back, we'll probably try for a more spacious place with a view! Otherwise for the cheap and cheerful option, this might be a great way to go!

At this price point, I think the health, service, facilities, and experience are already very good. The lobby is stylish, no smell of mold, mosquitoes, cockroaches, ants, or smoke. Basic hygiene is no concern. The bed was so bouncy that I didn't dare to turn over at night for fear of disturbing the person next to me, but since I was only staying for one night, it was okay. The service quality is excellent and positive for this price. The most convenient thing is that there is a 24-hour real-person check-in counter, which is quite flexible. Although the hotel itself does not have enough parking spaces, there is a super large public parking lot next to it, which is very convenient. When checking out, remember to ask the front desk staff for the hotel number. When picking up the car to pay, enter the hotel number and print out the parking number. Drive the invoice back to the hotel counter, and the hotel will subsidize the parking fee of 100 yuan with the invoice. Overall, it is a hotel with high CP value. Those who want to go to Pier 2 can consider booking.

I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. It is very close to Jielian Station and is very convenient. What I appreciate most is that you can drink beer from 6 to 10 pm in the evening. There are sports equipment and a laundry room. The hygiene problem can be improved because two small cockroaches were found on the bed. Very comfortable, the room is quite big, the wifi is not smooth and a bit slow, the service staff is very good, polite and patient! If I go to Kaohsiung again, I will probably stay here again! I hope the hygiene problem has improved next time I stay.

The location of the hotel is very good, very close to the Love River. This time I stayed in a city view room. When I opened the curtains, I could see the night view outside, which was very beautiful. Overall, I was very happy to stay here. The downside was that there was rusty water flowing out of the silicone in the bathtub, which made people dumbfounded😱. The breakfast was very average and the porridge was too watery.

All my weekend itineraries were on Pier 2, so I chose Tuna Hotel. The location is very close to the MRT and Pier 2. It takes about 5 minutes to walk there. The service attitude at the morning counter is also very good! We booked a double room. As soon as we walked in, we saw biscuit crumbs and hair on the corner of the door. There were unknown stains on the pillows. There were water stains on the dressing table. The shelf on the bathroom toilet was too high. It was not in line with Asia at all. The settings for the average height of people, and the breakfast buffet bar the next day, several plates were sticky to the touch. In short, the hygienic aspects are really not ideal and not recommended.

I am visiting my mom in Taiwan and decided to spend a couple of nights in Kaohsiung. I will be quite honest. I didn't have a lot of expectations staying at a Holiday Inn Express. But the stay exceeded my expectations. I took the MRT and the station is less than 5 minutes walk to the hotel. The check in process was smooth. I was offered a drink (I picked soda!) at check in for being a Platinum member. A very nice gesture. My room is small, but most rooms in Asia seem small to me coming from the US. It has a tiny view of the river and the park. You can tell the hotel is pretty new. I work a lot in my room wherever I am traveling in the world. This modern room provides all the necessary electric outlets for me to plug whatever I need in. This is important to me as well as good working wifi, which this property provides. Oh! They also gave me a basket of snacks and drinks! That was a very pleasant surprise! The breakfast selection is somewhat limited but sufficient whether you are into ********* or Western breakfast. I don't travel to Taiwan often, so whenever I can have ********* breakfast, that's what I eat! They even have a noodle station, but unlike most other Asian hotels I stayed at, it is a self-serve Noodle station. I don't trust myself enough to make one. I wonder if it is possible for the hotel to allocate a staff person to work the station. The service at the breakfast buffet was great! They offered to make me drinks. I took the opportunity to order some iced latte. I almost gave this place a 5-star, but there are a couple of things needed work: 1) I could never get the shower head aligned to face me directly while standing in the middle of the shower. 2) The water pressure in the sink is really low when it is on cold. If I turned it away from cold, the pressure is fine. But I don't always want warm or hot water. 3) This one is more of a personal suggestion. I wish this place had a gym/workout room. That's another thing I look for when I travel. Not sure if there is anything they can do. But just thought I would throw it out there. I read some unnecessary harsh reviews (like one earlier where the worker had trouble finding their reservation), but my experience tells me the staff tries their best to make your stay enjoyable. I am sorry I couldn't quite give this hotel a 5-star, but I will definitely stay here again in the future when I am in Kaohsiung!

The service in the hotel is very good, and it is very convenient. There is a 7-11 downstairs across the street, and it is also close to the MRT station. Late review but really unforgettable stay experience 🥺 The landlord sister contacted WhatsApp in advance and informed the check-in details, so the communication was very smooth, and she was always concerned about greetings from check-in to check-out. The decoration of the B&B room is very unique. I found that the wall is not wallpaper but handmade murals. The homestay is very clean and quiet. I brought food to my relatives and friends. The landlord sister took the initiative to say that I can use the refrigerator, oh. This time I came to Kaohsiung to see old friends, but the day I wrote a review has planned a new trip to Taiwan with new friends. I hope I can stay again!
