It's been an amazing experience staying in the Starhuas hotel this time. All the staff are very kind and thoughtful, and I feel like staying home. Because I am a vegetarian who makes my breakfast everyday, thanks for the chef made tasty food. Definitely recommend everyone to stay in this hotel.

The hotel is new and nice but the customer care is really unbelievable. I booked for one night and unfortunately the typhoon arrived so ai had to cancel the trip. All the other hotels refund me the night except this one. They didn't care if it was a National alert and the only thing they offered was to postpone the night without any consider the refund. So I had to change my whole business trip in order to catch a night here. Very unpleasant and stressful situation.
In addition, nobody speaks english.
So, I am sorry but even if the hotel is niceI wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Great hotel. Love the location. Near to the pier and a shopping mall. Getting to the night market is about 15 mins cab ride. Will stay again when I am back in Kaohsiung.

Highly recommended and definitely will come back again.
The room was exactly as the picture shown. Clean and spacious, the comfortable bed, the lighting setting and of course the outstanding bathtub. Everything was perfect for our family of 4.
Location is a bit far from the MRT station, but 15mins walk to the Central Park MRT station is acceptable, meanwhile gaining chances to explore the neighbourhood by walking through.
We had early dinner around 5pm and the 24hrs unlimited mini bar was excellent for us to fill up something before sleep. The restaurant is more than expected, friendly staffs, a variety of food, “not too crowded” environments.
We just loved it.
