Before COVID, I used to travel to Kaohsiung about three times a year, and this hotel was my favorite.
It's close to the station, there are lots of restaurants along the way, and the alley area next to the hotel has been redeveloped into a fashionable dining area.
There's a famous duck restaurant right in front of you, a Kaohsiung Baoba next door, a 7-Eleven nearby, and a fruit juice stand further ahead.
You can eat in the area around the hotel without getting bored.
I think I'll choose this hotel on my next trip.

After arriving at the hotel, the counter staff searched for a long time and couldn't find the reservation. Hotel lobby is old, dark with mosquitoes in the lobby sitting area, I got a few bites while sitting there waiting for text. The room is clean as expected for 4 star hotel, but the king bed is too soft and kind of short for tall person, shower bath room appears new and very nice.

Since we arrived at dusk on an evening flight, we were only able to do the formalities. Breakfast was buffet style on the second floor, with a wide variety of options, but no bacon, ham, or omelette. It was close to the MRT, making it easy to get around for sightseeing. The room was okay.
