good to stay hotel, but customer check in was not friendly

I booked a room thru trip.com, paying in full. Upon arrival my card was run for incidentals, supposedly 50$...NOT! IT WAS PREAUTHORIZED and later charged for 125.70 two times and 10$. None of which I authorized. I noticed you medially contacted the front desk they told me it would be reversed and back in my account also told me they would be reimbursing me for the 147 for the troubles after a week of calling speaking with Casey they insisted they gave my money back I'm not sure who they gave it to because it never has come to my bank account so I ended up paying $500 for a room at that hotel I would not suggest you're sticking your card in their debit credit machine they're going to steal from you like they didn't me and probably many others. A week and a half later still nobody has the answers in the Holiday Inn still has my money.

I don't like being asked to rate the experience before the experience is complete. Stop doing that. It's highly inappropriate to ask people how their stay was at the beginning. So far everything is good.

Room was filthy and had a broken lamp that was just shoved to the side, wall were dirty and the beds were extremely hard and I’m usually a person that likes a firm mattress but you might as well sleep on the floor! We had a pull out sofa but there was no bedding for it in the room so we called front desk and they told us we had to come and get it from downtown ourselves. The breakfast was dried out and not good at all.

Hotel is renovating, very quiet, bed was uncomfortable, really good breakfast, easy on and off the highway access, easy to Zona Rosa and shops at boardwalk, and straight shot to Starbucks

No issues with the property. The lady that checked us in was a hero. Now ******* on the other hand was a nigh**are. They charged our card but didnt send the confirmation to the hotel. We had to do virtual messaging and ******* hung up on the hotel. 45 minutes for someone to fix it. This was all ******* fault. Telling her that we did a no show. Thankful the staff faught for us.

The shuttle service to the airport was convenient, and the driver couldn't have been nicer or more helpful.

Everything was great for this stay. Every person we encountered was very friendly and professional, the room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, even the shuttle to and from the airport was good. I definitely recommend this property!

The hotel staff was nice and it was clean. I called before booking to make sure the pool was open (inside, winter time) and was told it was operational. When we arrived it was under construction — the hotel staff was apologetic and arranged for our kids to use an adjacent hotel property to make sure the kids were happy. Much appreciated and although there was initial disappoin**ent it was quickly rectified.
