We stayed here for 3 nights in Dharamshala while on our road trip throughout Himachal. The rooms and overall infrastructure is excellent. The rooms are well furnished with huge balconies and well equipped washrooms. This is where the good things end. The breakfast was lacking in options on our first day - as they didn't have a full fledged buffet - but it was just fine on the next 2 days. The food is nothing to talk about. The overall management at the property is just pathetic - which is extremely unlike a Taj Property. One instance which was just pathetic was - that on one night we needed water at 11pm and nobody answered the phones for 45 mins and then I had to walk to the reception and to my suprise there was no one there and no one in the office. Then I called the GM of the hotel - who was even worse - was not all apologetic - instead didn't even bother to speak or solve the situation. So that's when I realised that GM himself wasn't motivated enough to run the property - and that showed throughout the staff - there was no intent in making the stay memorable. We travelled with our pet and each day - it was a task to get the food on time. That was the only saving grace - that we could travel with our dog and he enjoyed a lot in the lawns of the property.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting at Norbu the montanna by Taj, and it was an experience to cherish.. the resort seems to be a blend of luxury, tranquility and serenity..though I have only experience the restaurant services.. indeed they were phenomenal in their service part.. service team is efficient and well trained though the food was good.. Keep doing good job Taj...

Exceptional service , very friendly and helpful staff and the best was the experience of wonderful himachali food - the chef did a phenomenal job ! Loved how the kitchen was able to accommodate some of my requirements ! I would have given a 5star except that the spa was very ordinary - not upto a Taj standard at all - was actually disappointing

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Norbu The Montanna, largely thanks to the incredible staff and the breathtaking views! The food was outstanding, and the service was top-notch. A special shout-out to Chef James (BEST ******* food) and Chef Sagar at the pizzeria for their culinary creations, and to Abhinay & Saurabh for their attentive and friendly service. We were truly impressed and would highly recommend this resort.

The experience we had during our stay was fantastic. A spacious room with a spacious bathroom, a balcony that faces south, and a large garden. My kids had a great time during the two leisurely days we spent there. The food quality was excellent and the hospitality was outstanding. All staff members are really good and humble, especially Rajesh Thakur, Chef Sanjay, and trainee Pallab. Spa services are also good. The payoff was worth it.

Good things 1st- Staff was very good, The food was amazing, fabulous, I don't have any words about the food, the chef personally came to us and asked what would we like to have and he specially made delicious dishes for us, I guess his name was James If I'm not wrong, Therefore in terms of food, its was great. BUT, the maintenance of property was not good at all, If you are charging like a 5star property, that it must be maintained like a 5 star property. Lift was in bad condition, there were many things which were not maintained and taken care of.

Nor-bu taj, is a kind of boutique hotel very exclusive and has a beautiful view from your bed itself. Sitting in the balcony hearing to the chirping birds, seeing people working in the fields. The serenity is a experience to remember.

We had an amazing experience trying the local cuisine in plated fine dining. The chef James plated each snack , dessert and main course in the most authentic way. And also gave us the details of ever my food item served. We also had spread of local sauces , jam , cheese and breads.
