Choose to come to Western Sichuan during the off-season to avoid the torrent of secular life and find peace and quiet. I saw this Chinese-style courtyard on Ctrip and was very attracted to it... Although I thought the price was a bit high in the off-season at first, I completely gave up the idea after checking in. The shopkeeper was very enthusiastic but generous. Not only did he take the initiative to help carry the luggage, he also explained in detail the precautions for the B&B and the guide to attractions, dining, etc. In the evening, we were served a hot pot of tea by the stove, and it was not too cold to sit under the canopy of the small courtyard. Floor heating throughout the house and 24-hour hot water are also available👍🏽. The room is overall simple and warm, and the humidifier projection is suitable for a B&B in this price range. I heard from the shopkeeper that it has been several months since it was installed and opened for business, but the soft wall facilities are very new, and it seems that a lot of effort has been put into regular maintenance. The tea room in the front hall has a sample wall of this B&B joint photo studio. The photos are very good. Unfortunately, I was in such a rush that I didn’t take a photo for my wife. I heard from the shopkeeper that there are discounts for customers here. It’s rare to write a short essay so seriously when traveling. What you see is what you believe. If I come to Western Sichuan again, I will come here again, bring my friends, and have a drink and chat in the small courtyard. It is so lively.

It is a very good hub to start the trip in Garze. The hostel is located nearby the bus station. And the system is pretty organized. Girls in reception were very kind and helpful, they recommended us several places in Western Sichuan and gave some detailed instructions how to go to Tagong.

I went to Kangding on a staggered trip on October 9th. I stayed at a friend’s newly opened Chuyi B&B. The B&B is on the hillside of Kangding City. The owner upgraded us the star room because of the small number of guests. Once you enter the room, you will have a panoramic view. The room has floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides. Surrounded by mountain views, there is a pond on the balcony, facing Paoma Mountain, and at night, you can open the awning and lie on the bed to watch the sky full of stars. That's cool! The room has floor heating, which is very warm at night. It’s also very convenient to call for take-out here. I recommend Sanmei BBQ for supper, which tastes good! come back next time.

This is a delightful little hotel, very clean and comfortable rooms. They have a nice dining/sitting area downstairs, very light and with nice flowers and plants. There’s a little bar and a great coffee machine but sadly you couldn’t get coffee in the morning , a bit disappointing, it would have made the stay better. 😟 It seems no one could work it or willing too. The staff were otherwise obliging and helpful although no one can speak English. They have a carpark underneath which is convenient. It’s fine for overnighting in Kangding. It’s up a very steep hill. It’s very quiet in the evening so nice for sleeping.
