Hotels in Tagong Grassland, Kangding

Due to the rush of the trip, I didn't take any photos, but the boss was really great. He wore very handsome sunglasses and thoughtfully prepared blankets in the room (to resist freezing, hahaha). He helped wash the car, clean the snow on the car, and carried the luggage. It was really nice and very cheap. Lagang Ranch boasts the best location on the Tagong Grassland, nestled at the foot of the Yala Snow Mountain. Surrounding it are Muya Monastery, a small Seda, Jiagunong, Gunong Village, Balangshengdu, a small Xinjiang, Yuzixi, Gediram, Moshi Park, and the clouds surrounding Yala. The scenery is breathtaking, with snow-capped mountains and meadows juxtaposed like a painting. From your room, all the beauty is within reach, creating a breathtaking view with every step. There's also a beautiful public library, the Nalangma Community Library. The staff are genuinely warm, and every detail is truly heartwarming. Here, both the eyes and the soul are healed.

The location is relatively easy to find, just navigate to it. The boss is very attentive and attentive. What can I say about the location? You can see the snow-capped mountains when you look up. If you want to take some good photos, you can walk for a few minutes. You can go to the boss’s house to eat special ******* food in the morning, and there is also a barbecue in the evening (I tried the boss’s beef and sold it at various attractions), which is a good choice. Disadvantages: 1. It is indeed a bit cold at night. There is an electric blanket here, but it is still difficult to use the toilet (I went there at 51). 2 It's not a private bathroom, how can I put it? The hotel is very nice. It's not right next to a street, so it's very soundproof. The owner and staff were very helpful and enthusiastic, proactively helping with our luggage. The service was excellent. There was even an oxygen concentrator in the room, which was very effective. I had a little altitude sickness, but it subsided after ten minutes. It was really nice. The owner also recommended the nearby Muya Monastery, a tourist attraction many people don't know about. I took some photos of the Muya Monastery and would like to share them with you. The uncles and aunties were very nice. I even tried butter tea and learned how to make tsampa. I loved it! 😍 There's also a small courtyard, so we had a barbecue that night. It was so cozy.

On the way from Xiaojin to Tagong Grassland, it was getting dark. I planned to stay in Tagong Town for one night and go to Tagong Grassland the next day. When I was about five kilometers away from Tagong Town, there was a serious traffic jam. The car lights on the road were all red. The navigation showed that it would take one hour and forty minutes to reach Tagong Town, a five-kilometer journey. I immediately searched online for a B&B near the traffic jam area. The value of this saying, ”If you lose something in one place, you may gain something in another,” is constantly increasing. We turned around to avoid the traffic jam and drove along a road to the village. There were large groups of yaks on the road. The room was very large, just as shown in the advertisement. The most important thing is that if the weather is good, you can see the stars from the window. I have to say that the boss’s brother, born in 1998, added an important touch to my trip to western Sichuan. After dawn, the boss said that he would take my two kids and another family's kids to the grassland to look for marmots. To be honest, I felt a little regretful that I didn't go to Mosca Village to see the marmots due to the weather, but now it has been made up for. On the way there, I found that the famous Muya Temple was actually in this village. I also met many local people and learned some culture. After waiting for about an hour, I finally found the traces of the groundhog. The trip was worth it. There was a small episode. I bought two kilograms of yak meat during the trip and asked the boss to help me tell whether it was real or fake. The boss said it was fake at a glance, and then took out their authentic yak meat for me to taste and learn from. I was avenged today for all the IQ tax I paid for many years. I hope the boss will put the yak business on the agenda and wish the boss a prosperous business. If you go to Tagong Grassland for a visit, you can stay at his home. It's so touching! We really enjoyed our time at Tuoma Homestay. The rooms were clean, cosy and had a nice local feel. It’s a peaceful place that gives you a real sense of the area. What made it special was how welcoming and thoughtful the host was. We always felt well looked after and it made travelling here so much easier and more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a comfortable place with kind people and an authentic atmosphere, Tuoma Homestay is a great choice.

Excellent hotel in the borders of the Tagong grasslands. When we arrived, we were a bit worried that it was too far from the town, but the owner gracefully drove us there the next morning. After sitting down and watching the view for a while, we were completely satisfied for having chosen this place. The owner is extremely nice, we talked with him a few times. The hotel is on the land behind his family's home, so it's all very cozy. When we had problems calling a taxi from Muya temple, he went there to pick us up himself. He also assisted us on finding a ride back to Kangding.The ******* breakfast was very good, as well. Even though it is a tent and the toilet is shared, we found it cleaner than almost all hotels in the same price range in China. The beds are also nicely soft.

We had an excellent stay here. The host and staff are super kind and caring. My partner was suffering from the altitude when we arrived and they immediately set us up with an oxygen concentrator. He felt better almost immediately. We are thankful they had one! They kept checking in on our health throughout our entire stay. We had a beautiful big room on the fourth floor with views of Mt. Yala and life around the river. Loved the in floor heating. Even if you don't get a room on the 4th floor, there is a sitting area up with the view. The hotel is close to the main street, 10 minute walk to Tagong Monastery, 20 minute walk to the study monastery and 5 minute walk to the trail which leads up over the grasslands to Ani Gompa and Muya Dasi. We can't thank the host and staff enough - they made a delicious hotpot on our first night, looked after us everyday and found us a ride onto Danba. They and we managed the English translation apps enough that we could work through the language barrier. Thank you!

We want to go shopping and the proprietress will send us. We come back from shopping and the proprietress will pick us up again. This service really has nothing to say.
