Popular Kangding 4-star Hotels

The last stop of my trip to Western Sichuan came to Kangding. I personally care about the old and new hotels. I chose a hotel that was renovated in 2024. In fact, it was renovated, but it was only the exterior corridor. The important thing is that the bathroom in the room still looks like an old hotel. It is very old! The toilet, air conditioner, TV, are new and partially renovated (the bathroom shower facilities are very old, the floor tiles still have potholes) and are not renovated at all. The hotel was built in 2008 and has been 16 years old. Forget it. More importantly, I slept with my partner. I scratched a huge itch all night. It was one or two o'clock in the morning. I was too lazy to make a call until the morning. When I woke up and washed up, I found that the plate holding the towels was moldy. I really couldn't stand the collapse. Although the attitude was very good, the hotel was being renovated. The outside guests did not live outside. I hope the hotel would take care of it. The room hygiene is good, but I still like the city of Kangding. It started to rain a little when I returned to the room at night. When the little brother saw us, he enthusiastically gave us an umbrella, but the hygiene was worrying! I rarely write reviews but my body was really itchy and there were a few little red spots on my back.

The room has oxygen and heating. I booked the front desk guy to confirm the time with me and turn on the oxygen in advance. I was very satisfied with the guy's service. The hotel is opposite the Golden Pagoda and you can see a good view from the window. It is 50 meters to the grassland and the horses are grazing next to the hotel. The breakfast of the hotel is good. There are regular ones. You can also try ******* breakfast. Tagong yogurt is very good, butter tea and green cake are also good. It is a new experience.

The service was very good and the room was very clean. It has its own parking lot, and there are two parking lots. On the night of check-in, I asked the front desk for water. Maybe it was not delivered because it was too late. The next day, the room lady gave me so many bottles. The breakfast is also quite satisfying, so don’t expect to compare with four or five stars. The security guard helped carry my luggage when I checked in that day, and the lady at the front desk helped carry my luggage when I left. Thank you😊

The internal environment is really good, like a garden. The staff is very enthusiastic and responsible. They will take the initiative to remind you of many things every day. The room is quite distinctive and clean. The accommodation space is indeed a bit small. If you spread out the suitcase to take things, it is basically only enough to put one. But the bathroom is quite large, and the equipment is complete. There are humidifiers, heaters, and oxygen generators. The hot water comes out very quickly. The shower gel is the same brand as my home. It is leisurely. The breakfast variety is not too much, just enough. If there are many people staying that day, it is self-service, and if there are few people, it is a meal. There is a relatively narrow road to the hotel, which is one-way for cars. It is easy to go wrong. If you don’t drive yourself, it’s still quite specific. If you want to walk to the street to eat, it may take 10 minutes, but it is really quiet far from the street. The street outside is quite noisy at night. If the weather is good, you can vaguely see Gongga in the distance in the room, but it is actually quite far away, so there must be no fog or clouds. It depends on luck. We only saw it one day, and it was covered by clouds most of the time.

Black Barley Hotel is really the best hotel in Xinduqiao, Sichuan Province, where we have been so many times. The scenery of the hotel is also beautiful. The room facilities are also very good in the local area. The facilities are complete. The hot water bath is very comfortable. And as long as the room is sufficient, it will be upgraded for those with children. The hotel's breakfast is also very good, and there are freshly cooked rice noodles and freshly ground coffee. Drinking coffee facing the snow scene is so healing. When I just checked in, it was very cold. There was a charcoal fire in the lobby for heating. Brown sugar ginger tea was prepared for the guests. It was freezing when it rained while camping. I felt comfortable immediately after drinking it and didn't have a runny nose. The room was turned on for the guests in advance. And when I was having breakfast, I met a very well-behaved brother. At first I thought he was the child of the staff, but later I heard from them that he was an orphan adopted by the hotel. The hotel is really very humane. Our family feels that it is better than Songzan, which we stayed in during the summer vacation.

The environment is very good, parking is convenient, and it is very convenient to visit Yajiageng. This is the third time I have stayed here.

The hotel is in the old city, less than 2 kilometers away from the Love Song Square, and there are many food options around. Opposite is the military area, very safe! Because Kangding is not hot but cold, it doesn't matter if the hotel is not equipped with air conditioning, it is equipped with the most important heating! ! ! The room configuration is also good, for example, the bathroom is fully equipped with international brand toilets, showers... Parking more than 5 meters can only be on the roadside, which may be troublesome. But there is a parking lot within 5 meters, which is very convenient. The fruit hotel next door is 20% more expensive than here, and the cost performance is very high!

I booked the ”river view” room on the 13th floor and obviously, I stuck gold after cranking my head from my room window, looking down to the raging water roaring through the river in the center of the city street. When I said ”raging” water, I meant cascading flows that echo through the entire city block. I had seen such terrain in Switzerland before but this is more impressive. So ”location” is the biggest merit and I would recommend never sparing the money in exchange for the river=side room. Plus, the hotel is looking against the famous ”Love Song” Plaza of KarnDin City. For those who wonder what the big deal is about the ”KangDin Love Song”. For starters, it is a part of the Chinese growing-up song that is deeply entrenched in education, for even a person raised in Taiwan, let alone ethnical Chinese in the Mailand. It is more like a pilgrimage than touring that brought many to the city. The smaller plaza right in front of the hotel lobby begins to gather impromptu dances at about 8 pm (Beijing time, local time ~ 6 p.m.). I admire the local Tibetans of all ages whose spontaneity sways with the music. The hotel doorman told me that yes, there were Han tourists also in the troupe, but you could usually tell them apart because they were the awkward-looking ones. I have no complaints about the service, and I appreciate the enthusiasm the front desk people show when I try to gather information. One more thing before I leave: if you are tired of the summer heat, Kangdin is the city you want to come! In late June, the daily high is 12 C! The travel to the city has made extremely convenient by the recent completed Highway 42--an incredible feat of tunnel engineering in the world.

The hotel is right on National Highway 318, which is very convenient for travel. The night view of Liuliu City is very beautiful, but parking is not easy. The store provides pick-up and drop-off services, which is very considerate! Children like the small playground in the hotel very much. There is a book bar on it where you can read books. The breakfast area is very beautiful, opposite the mountain. It feels great to have breakfast among the hydrangeas and mountain clouds!

The room is a parent-child suite. The hotel is very warm and comfortable, with a large space for activities. The children like it very much. The hotel linens and bedding are very comfortable. The location of the hotel is very good, just opposite Kangding Love Song Square. The only drawback is that the parking lot is very small. Parking spaces are very tight when there is heavy snow. It is a bit troublesome to move the car the next day. All in all, it is very good.
