When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk said there was a parking lot opposite the hotel. After registering the information at the hotel, you can park in the parking lot for free. The parking lot is also very large.

GGuest UserThis is a delightful little hotel, very clean and comfortable rooms. They have a nice dining/sitting area downstairs, very light and with nice flowers and plants.
There’s a little bar and a great coffee machine but sadly you couldn’t get coffee in the morning , a bit disappointing, it would have made the stay better. 😟 It seems no one could work it or willing too. The staff were otherwise obliging and helpful although no one can speak English. They have a carpark underneath which is convenient. It’s fine for overnighting in Kangding. It’s up a very steep hill. It’s very quiet in the evening so nice for sleeping.

BBingcunI booked the ”river view” room on the 13th floor and obviously, I stuck gold after cranking my head from my room window, looking down to the raging water roaring through the river in the center of the city street. When I said ”raging” water, I meant cascading flows that echo through the entire city block. I had seen such terrain in Switzerland before but this is more impressive.
So ”location” is the biggest merit and I would recommend never sparing the money in exchange for the river=side room. Plus, the hotel is looking against the famous ”Love Song” Plaza of KarnDin City. For those who wonder what the big deal is about the ”KangDin Love Song”. For starters, it is a part of the Chinese growing-up song that is deeply entrenched in education, for even a person raised in Taiwan, let alone ethnical Chinese in the Mailand. It is more like a pilgrimage than touring that brought many to the city.
The smaller plaza right in front of the hotel lobby begins to gather impromptu dances at about 8 pm (Beijing time, local time ~ 6 p.m.). I admire the local Tibetans of all ages whose spontaneity sways with the music. The hotel doorman told me that yes, there were Han tourists also in the troupe, but you could usually tell them apart because they were the awkward-looking ones.
I have no complaints about the service, and I appreciate the enthusiasm the front desk people show when I try to gather information.
One more thing before I leave: if you are tired of the summer heat, Kangdin is the city you want to come! In late June, the daily high is 12 C!
The travel to the city has made extremely convenient by the recent completed Highway 42--an incredible feat of tunnel engineering in the world.

BBrianaThis guesthouse is extremely comfortable - all the amenities are brand new and very nice (TV, water dispenser, Dyson hair dryer, electric toilet) The bed was especially comfortable. When we woke up it was a rainy day, but it was lovely to watch the view from under the blankets with a cup of tea. Later we had a yummy breakfast downstairs (Chinese buns and hot rice milk). They also had no problem to check in foreigners, although they don’t speak English (we called ahead to confirm this). It was a steep walk with our bags up the mountain, but I’m sure you could arrange a car.

I have stayed at other hotel in the region and this one is definitely better.
They speak a little bit english so it was easy for me to communicate as my chinese is not very good.
It's located really close to the entrance to ZimeiPass(ZimeiYakou) and there is a small local shop selling basic stuff 3min walk away. More convenient than Yulongxi!
The staff helped me to locate myself in the region and gave good advices on direction and on what. to explore. The hotel ambiance is cozy and have good vibes. There is definitely good energy here. Wifi is fast, rooms are clean, beds are comfy and. warm. One great thing was the food because it's really hard to find good food in the region and their food is good!
The staff is super nice too. The owner lives here and she made sure my stay was great. Full of good memories.

GGuest UserIt is indeed rare to have a hotel with its own parking lot in Kangding. Although it is on the edge of the city, the transportation is convenient. There are buses or taxis when you go out. It's just that the way into the car is a bit difficult to find. It would be perfect if there is an entrance for cars on the road next to the hotel.

GGuest UserAlthough the service attitude of the boss is very good, I still have to say that this is the worst place to sleep in Xiaohuan in Western Sichuan, because this B&B is right on the edge of the national highway, 0 distance away! Downstairs, heavy trucks drove past one after another all night long. The roar of their engines and the sound of horns from time to time kept them awake all night. The windows of the B&B are single-layer glass and wooden windows with large gaps and no sound insulation at all. After a day of traveling and being unable to sleep at night, think about what it feels like!
