Galaxy City Hotel

I arrived at the accommodation quite late. The receptionist (apologies for not remembering their name) explained everything in detail and was very helpful. The porter also introduced me to the room’s features and assisted with everything without me even asking. The room and bathroom were spacious, with all the necessary amenities. I will definitely stay here again.

I really did enjoy my stay here! The room had all the facilities you'd want, including an in-room refrigerator, tea making facilities, and a hairdryer in the bathroom. The bathroom was gleaming and the rooms very clean! You can see some wear (the wallpaper corners were peeling just an inch or two) and it took them a minute to get the WiFi up, but otherwise the stay was great. Staff was friendly, helpful, and i greatly appreciated the wet towel they provided when we checked in! Do note that the hotel is on a steep incline road! So even though things appear to be within walking distance, walking is a challenge!

Stayed during a tour of Sri Lanka. A lovely Hotel near to local attractions. Fantastic large clean rooms with shower and bath and air conditioning. The best breakfast in Kandy too. Also a modern lift. Would definitely stay here again. Staff are all polite and friendly. I have no hesitation recommending this hotel. Good views too. The owners should be proud.

The hotel was better than I expected. I liked the bathroom and it’s cleanliness. The continental breakfast they provided was excellent and fruits added a good taste and nourishment to it. It would have been great If Ala-Carte was there to order for the dinner in-house. Thank you for your service.
