The hotel group is small but has boutique hotels across Sri Lanka. This w15 is located near kandy. There is a shooting club next to it and tatata gunshots can be heard during the day. The hotel itself is not big, with one house and one main building. As for the scenery, looking at the mountains, it feels a bit like Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all good. In terms of activities, you can choose hiking, cycling, tennis or taking a jeep to climb high.
Special attention should be paid to the fact that the hotel channels have different prices, so carefully compare the prices.

There are many management problems in this hotel: (1) Discrimination against Chinese guests. We paid the full amount in August to book a room for New Year's Day. No refunds were allowed, and changes were not supported. However, two days before check-in, they suddenly told us that there was no room available, and we were kicked out. Arrange to go to the King Pavilion half an hour away; (2) Have no sense of time, require eating at 11:30, ordering food in the morning, and eating at 12 o'clock;
The hotel environment is very good, with free drinks and all-inclusive meals, but the service is too poor.

W15 Hanthana’s views and colonial feel are superb but what really elevates the experience is the attentive, warm and authentic service of the onsite team. From the wildlife expert, to waiters and the chef and his team, my family had a very memorable, relaxing stay.

Beautifully restored plantation manager’s bungalow with tastefully furnished rooms and great views of surrounding hills. It’s in a peaceful secluded location but only a short drive from the hustle and bustle of Kandy. Butler service was outstanding (pity we didn’t catch his name) and food is very well executed without the unnecessary flourishes that come from trying too hard. A top class experience all round

Staying at W15 was an incredible experience. Nothing was too much trouble and every conversation was met with a friendly smile. Manjula and Sheriff were particularly fantastic and, by the end of our short stay, they knew what we wanted before we did! If you have a chance to stay at this incredible hotel you must. Comfortable, beautiful, and simply one of a kind. We can't wait to go back!

W15 was a fantastic experience that it's even hard to put into words. We came for 2 nights and everything was flawless and outstanding: the views, the room, the music, the food, and most specially, the people and the amazing hospitality. Since we arrived, Sheriff, Tharaka, Hastha and Premod were truly professional, kind and would solve anything we asked for. They never gave us a "no" as an answer. Even when my husband asked if by any chance there was anyone who could get him a haircut in the hotel, they did everything and managed to find a hairdresser from town to come and cut his hair. Other examples: I asked if they had apples, and instead of giving me a "no" as an answer, they went to get some. I asked if they had dry cleaning service and they coordinated everything so they could send it to a speciallized place in town. We have so many other examples in which they were always making their best to delight us, and they succeeded, exceeding all of our expectations. The property is simply beautiful. You almost feel like you're in a retreat. We were lucky we had to do "homeoffice" so we had the opportunity of staying in the hotel the entire time and enjoy the calm and feeling of being at home. Thank you SO much W15. Looking forward on coming back again (hopefully soon!)

Upon arrival your senses are transported back in time at this beautifully restored plantation manor. We were greeted with such charm and welcoming kindness we felt immediately comfortable as honored guest. The rooms are charming, roomy and very comfortable. Breakfast, lunch and dinner services were impeccable and the food was perfect. Dinner on the patio, looking out over rolling green hills is so relaxing you'll want to stay a few extra days!

This is kinder a paradise to spend time with your loved ones.Very calm and quiet surroundings filled with greenery.Definitely with exceptional hospitality and nice authentic foods.Specially thanks to Hastha, Tharaka, and Niroshan; they support us a lot.We went there to have a little pre-celebration for our upcoming anniversary, and they provided us a complementary piece of cake without any additional requests.Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves to have a memorable gateway.

Saturated old colonial magic set high in the hills.All inclusive .Food and wine excellent. Individual attention to detail. Rooms outstanding. Bed with fine linen and so comfy. Reception rooms peaceful and imposing. The swimming pool nestled into the grounds. Excellent service from Sheriff our personal butler. We wished we were there longer.
