This is a great hotel to stay to get away from it all. It is set in a lovely natural setting with big trees and gardens all around. The pool area was great, and it was nice to have a swim after a day out. The rooms are very spacious with a lovely balcony. They are very clean and the staff decorate the bed every day. The bathrooms are big and clean with plenty of hot water. They have a great bar there for a drink after dinner with very reasonable prices. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would love to give a special mention to Ajit and Asela for making our stay so memorable and enjoyable. We originally booked for 1 night but enjoyed it so much that we stayed for 3 nights! I don't hesitate to highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again. The other bonus was that they had accommodation for our driver included in the price.

Great hotel, staff are super attentive & will do anything they can to ensure you enjoy your stay. Excellent location, if you’re planning to travel in the area, definitely consider this place - great food, pool & rooms are big and clean, can’t recommend highly enough - thanks to all the staff for making it so special!

Staff were awaiting us as our van pulled in and they have remained attentive for the entire stay. All the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough to accommodate us. Lovely facilities and a stones throw from the Jungle safari! Really recommend. Thank you to all staff who helped to make our holiday rememberable for all the right reasons.

This place lives up to its name. Actually, a Nice Place. I would highly recommend here because the staff was friendly and helpful and the food was great (I wanted a little bit less spice and they gave me the perfect amount and u have to try the seafood dish although it was too big for 1 person, I still ate it because it's just so good, and the son of the hotel's owner had a pet squirrel which was soo cute I loved the experience and you will too! P.S - I won't be able to upload photos because I lost the phone I had the pictures with at the beach. (If I find the pictures I'll upload it)

Foods smell was terrible and receptionists make me angry when i asked hotel informations.there for i will never recommend this nice place hotel.1st impression made me upset and i felt its like a poor house.very dark environment was there.staff should practice and learn hospitality.i will never accept you guys

What a fantastic place - it was like a retreat resort outside of Dambulla, from here you could visit the Sigirya Rock Fortress, Dambulla Cave Temple or go on a safari. Back at the hotel it felt like there was nobody else around. The staff were amazing, we even got taken on our own personal birdwatching bushwalk around the local village.

It was a shame to only stay one night. ‘Nice Place’ was actually beautiful. Lush gardens, beautiful rooms (awesome rain head shower and balcony), lovely pool and friendly helpful staff. Highly recommend staying here.

We had a gathering at nice place in April 2024. It was really a great stay. Staff are friendly and courteous. We had a party at poolside all over the night (it’s not disturbing to other guests since the pool is away from rooms) and a staff member was there always to cater our needs. Mr. Chaminda and Mr. Ajith has coordinated well with our team to give their best. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Food was more than expected and well worth for the price. Overall it’s a great experience for very reasonable price
