Kanchanaburi Hotels with Swimming Pools

We have stayed at several U Hotel branches, and this one truly stands out for its exceptional service. The staff warmly welcomed us and were very friendly, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. They were proactive in accommodating additional requests, and even the housekeeping staff went above and beyond to assist us, there was a small gap under the door where mosquitoes could enter the room, but the maid quickly addressed it by placing a cloth to seal it. We were genuinely impressed by their attentiveness and dedication to ensuring a pleasant experience. The only area for improvement would be the warm water system, as it didn’t function consistently. Apart from that, everything else was excellent

Locates along to River Kwai Yai and very good environment. It will be convenient if you take your own transportation. Room is clean but the air conditioner is toooo noisy and unable to sleep. Housekeeping staff should inform to Engineer to come and fix. You can hear the noisy voice from A/C louder than other things. TV remote control’s batteries should be changed ASAP, couldn’t change channels or volume adjustment. Warm water doesn’t work, please go and check. We did go to dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. We ordered Thai Omelet with Pork (Kai Condo) which was too oily and greasy. Yum Woonsen is not tasty, only spicy taste but doesn’t have other tastes at all. Pork belly and fried rice with pork were yummy. Limited choice of breakfast items. Overall I satisfied to stay here.

It’s everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff are very helpful, the rooms are clean. It’s also 15mins walk from the Kanchanaburi train station and right opposite a laundromat.

Accommodation The facilities are good for this level of accommodation, but the noise management is very bad. On the day of check-in, November 9, 2024, there was a band organized for a group of tourists. The band played extremely loudly. The parents of the musicians on the other side of the river could hear it very clearly. They couldn't sleep because the vibration of the sound covered up the conversation in the room. They had to endure the hellish noise until almost midnight. The room was on the upper floor, 3 rooms away from the organized room. I guess other rooms in the area could hear it clearly. If the management knew that there was music, they should have informed the booking guests in advance so they could decide what to expect. Or sweep the group of tourists to gather near the noise area and have guests who want to rest stay on the street instead. Or turn the speakers toward the river, which might disturb others less. But they didn't care about anything. They just wanted to fill up the rooms. If they did this often, I can tell you that you'll be ready to pack your accommodation. That night, I couldn't sleep because the hellish noise made me tired the next day. The musicians must have had their ears broken by playing it so loudly. And I'm afraid they don't know the nature of these people. The music they played was the kind that screamed all the time. There was no softness or melodiousness at all. I can only say that whoever comes across this must say that they are evil, hellish people harassing us. Instead of getting a rest, we have to encounter this kind of event. The management of River Kwai Resort Bridge should consider solving this problem, not just letting the reception, who has no authority to manage, listen to this matter and do nothing, which will create dissatisfaction among the customers who stayed that day.

Good hotel with a good location. Near to River Kwai Bridge and local amenities. Recommended for short stay traveller.

Location is pretty decent, near JJ night market but far from Safari and Elephant World. Service is generally great, friendly staffs over the resort and nice swimming pool. The room is alil rundown but well maintained. Will be better if the water power from the shower can be greater as the flow is little and slow even for a small size man.

A pretty decent and cosy hotel, Although it seems a little run down. Some upgrading would be good. Water pressure not quite consistent. The staff are very friendly. Our stay comes with breakfast and free parking, which is a plus point.

A short 5-7 minute grab ride from either the Kanchanaburi bus terminal or the train station. Check in was smooth and the front desk managed to fully meet our preferred room specifications. Depending on the hotel’s overall occupancy rate, one may have a full buffet spread (which we enjoyed the variety) or, a partial one (with one selected main course). Room is clean and spacious for the price paid. The shower head could be improved to have a better flow of the water. Gym equipment would require some improvements as well. Other than these 2 minor aspects, we will return to stay especially it’s within walking distance the delicious On’s Thai Issan Vegetarian restaurant.

I had booked for one night, intending to leave for Bangkok early the next morning. At checkin, when informed by reception that there was a bus going to Erawan National Park, I decided to stay one more night. The reception staff came out several times to ensure i caught the bus which i waved down right in front of the hostel. Really appreciate the care given by this staff member. The point i wish to bring across in this post is, you can encourage the free and easy travellers to stay a day or two longer if there are places of interest within eady reach. I had a wonderful day at the park and a most restful night at thd hostel. Highly recommended!

The hotel is on the Kanchanaburi bypass road. Opposite Robinson Lifestyle Kanchanaburi, easy to find, convenient to travel. The rooms are a good size. Good view restaurant The food is diverse and tastes good. There is a cafe inside the hotel where people who are not staying can stop by and buy drinks.
