"Not bad. They have a bicycle hire service which was useful to get to the museum. The rental shops are close by if you need a scooter. Overall enjoyed my stay. I didn’t have the breakfast"
"Great hotel, basic clean and just away from noise. 160m walk from bus station. 200m walk from night food market, excellent... 10-15 mins to Bridge over the River Kwai. 5 mins from CWGC cemetery and museum. 10 mins from train station, timings by mechanical transport. It's a nice walk to the river where the sky walk is.
Great price on tours.... ask receptionist... soooo helpful. We stayed longer to explore Kanchanaburi... beautiful town... do the skywalk at sunset 60bht."

🍳 Delicious breakfast There are many menus to choose from. Full and continue to travel
🏊♀️ There is a chic swimming pool, taking pictures is very beautiful 📸
Who comes to Kanchanaburi Must try to stay here Guarantee that you won't be disappointed 💕"
"Oh, such a mixed bag! I really want to rate this place higher but I have to consider both its pros and cons. This place seems to suffer from a crisis of identity - it appears to want to be a great cafe/restaurant and it just so happens to have a hotel attached to it, almost as an afterthought. Our room was sparse - stripped of all but the absolute essentials. You could see where bedside tables should be, but had been removed. A desk, but no chair to sit at it on. Hot water that was hot for one minute then cold for four (and for a hotel of this price, there should definitely have been toiletries provided). The mattress and pillows were heavenly soft, but the rattling of the air-conditioning unit and adjacent live music venues made sleep difficult. The walls between the two units on each level were thin enough you could listen to your neighbour's TV as though it was in your own room. But! The breakfast offering was well above what we expected for the price. When there was an interruption to the local electricity supply the reception staff generously gave us resort vouchers to use for the inconvenience. It was all just so inconsistent - equal parts great and mediocre. I definitely wouldn't recommend AGAINST staying here, but I would hope that the resort staff took my feedback into consideration before our next stay."
"The hotel is on the Kanchanaburi bypass road. Opposite Robinson Lifestyle Kanchanaburi, easy to find, convenient to travel. The rooms are a good size. Good view restaurant The food is diverse and tastes good. There is a cafe inside the hotel where people who are not staying can stop by and buy drinks."
"I recently spent an amazing time at the **Blueskyraft Resort** and just can 't not share my impressions!
Comfort and comfort
The hotel is really very comfortable. When I first entered the room, I was immediately struck by the atmosphere of calm and comfort. The interiors are made in pleasant warm tones, which creates a home environment.
Beautiful view
The location of the hotel on the river is something incredible! Every day I enjoyed morning coffee, enjoying the scenic view of water and the surroundings. The sunsets were just fascinating, I found the perfect place for photo!
Staff
I would especially like to note the friendly and responsive staff. Every staff was ready to help and make my stay as comfortable as possible. They were always in touch, ready to answer any questions and offer interesting ideas for leisure.
Conclusion
Overall, **Blueskyraft Resort** is the perfect place for a quiet rest in nature. I left with a lot of positive emotions and will definitely come back here again. I recommend to everyone who seeks comfort and good service in a picturesque place!"
"Very good hotel, the room is upstairs in the old street coffee shop, the owner prepared breakfast in the downstairs cafe or courtyard, there is a large parking lot, within 10 minutes walk to the glass bridge, no more than 5 minutes drive to the local night market, within ten minutes of the train station, there are many lovely buildings in the old heritage street, Similar to Melaka. The bathroom is very clean and a refrigerator is provided. It is highly recommended. It is the best experience accommodation in Beibi. It is recommended for four people. The fifth person can also sleep in a combed bed."
"Sigh😮💨It’s really troublesome when encountering language barriers when going abroad. The counter staff was very patient in communicating at first, but then they didn’t seem to want to explain to us. They didn’t say that the minibar in their house was available. I asked the next day and was informed that there was no need to pay😓. The room is really beautiful. Everything else is just fine. Every waiter in the restaurant has a great attitude👍🏻"

Amazing
GGuest UserThe hotel feels like it was recently renovated, but built to a “nice” guesthouse level rather than an actual hotel. My room was on the second floor after having to request to change from the 4th floor - with no elevator. The room was not very clean, hair on the floor and signs of mold in the bathroom. The shower had good pressure and hot water and the room was specious with a good strong air conditioner. I’ve stayed for 3 nights and my room was never cleaned. Granted I didn’t specifically ask for cleaning service, but clean towels and a top up on toilet paper would have been nice. They did leave 2 bottles of water by my door each afternoon which was nice. There’s a smart TV in the room (I never turned it on so not sure about programming) and a cute swimming pool outside. Breakfast is very basic, choice of 2 Thai pork dishes and some toast. If you’re a vegetarian, you better not count on this breakfast.
Location is very convenient. About 20 minutes walk from the bridge and war museum and 5 minutes walk to nightlife and restaurants. They have plenty of parking on a private lot by the side of the hotel. This is not a riverside resort, you don’t see the river from the windows, although the river is very close. Overall a positive experience and good value for the price. 8/10.
Wwijaktoon24This is our second time staying here. We got a garden-view room close to the one we stayed in before, with a distant view of the river. The kids had fun feeding the rabbits. The service was excellent, even though the hotel was fully booked today.
DDavid PaulBoutique style hotel with attractive location on the River Kwai, a few hundred metres from the bridge.
The hotel is immaculately maintained and although the rooms are small, the bed is comfortable.
The outstanding highlight is undoubtedly the riverside terrace on which one can enjoy a well prepared and diverse breakfast (Asian / Western options), dinner and evening cocktails.
Staff are friendly and efficient and contribute to the pleasant ambience.
Great spot for a relaxing weekend and as a base for exploring Kanchanaburi’s attractions.
JJason2023I was allowed to check in early (11.30am). This place is huge! It feels like i'm staying in a national park. The room is very spacious, clean, very nicely decorated with water, toiletries etc. I'm very happy with the room and now keen to explore the grounds before heading out to the national park on the scooter. The grounds are well maintained in most areas but could be improved slightly in others. Nice to walk around but for cycling, the paths are so uneven and inconsistent, it's not a particularly comfortable ride. They also have some kayaks available. There is no road noise but if you have neighbours, the walls are thin so you will hear talking and scraping chairs occasionally. There is also a constant vibrating sound coming from across the river that reverberates throughout the parts which should be relaxing - some kind of large water pump, generator or farming equipment.
I went to Erawan and arrived back at around 8pm, the restaurant takes last orders around 9 but they were serving food and drinks outside with a variety of food, from steak to pad thai, papaya salad, noodles, grilled chicken at different stations. With the outdoor seating area lit up and music playing, it is a super chill but lovely atmosphere.
Breakfast: A little disappointing. It's more local (processed sausage and ham, more rice, vegetables and noodles etc). I tried the rice, vegetables, sweet and sour chicken - it was all cold. The egg was slightly undercooked so I just had fruit. It was a busy breakfast area and lots of people seemed to be enjoying the breakfast. It was much better on the second day!
After a day of exploring around and up to Hellfire Pass, I arrived back at around 6pm. I went to the restaurant where I sat for 10 minutes - no staff came to me to ask if I needed anything despite lots of staff wandering around. I approached them and asked if the restaurant was open, to which they replied no, all food is outside. I wrongly assumed the restaurant was also open. I went to buy coupons for the outdoor food but this time they said it was a la carte - it wasn't very clear how to order food, tables didn't have menus so i asked for one. The food was okay - the stir fried beef was tough but the vegetables were okay. Most staff have low levels of English so communicating can be challenging.
SSupasaintLocated about 7km north west of the town, the staff are all friendly and helpful. I have rented a small motorbike to get me around, a necessity which means I can go where and when I desire, small money so no problem!
Have been to the cemeteries and museums to pay my respect to ALL who suffered during those darkest of days. I have also been to the original wooden bridge constructed by the POW’s and others, it is located in the JEATH museum adjacent to the bridge that is in use these days. Entry cost 50 Baht, and there is so much to see that I took two hours inside, would recommend a morning visit so you can view the many items and read the facts behind them at your leisure.
The museum has been set up by a local man and is most definitely worth visiting. 100% value for money! I mentioned to a Thai man inside that we were so grateful that people around the area did try to ease the suffering of the POWs, risking their own necks by doing so.
My mother was an innocent child at 7 years old, alongside her mother and little sister she waved goodbye to her father, John Francis Egan, he said he was going to work for a while!! After working in Turkey, his ANZAC unit were moved on to Italy, to partake in one of the harder campaigns of the war. His life was taken by a German bullet at Mount Casino, alongside many many others!
Please understand how one can feel. I try my hardest to be non judgmental and tolerant these days. I have not walked in your shoes and do not know your story.
“Footsteps in the sand” comes to mind at this moment. I have PTSD myself, and I knew coming to Kanchanaburi may get emotional, and it has.
Now my mother is 88 years young, and became a great grandma for the second time two weeks ago. Apologies if it got too personal, started as a review of the Phoo Tawan hotel.
Words are insufficient, our gratitude to all who risked their own lives and those that paid the ultimate price.
Life is precious, please enjoy the moment.
Peace, love and joy to all who inhabit this world.
ONE LOVE
DDonドニTraveling with friends but it's rainy so we stay longer and enjoy the facility. Amazed with the place, and love it. We play at the pools (yes, more than 1 pool) and continue taking pictures at the river. Well, everything was so good, but the fly at the resto during breakfast. Probably, because it is the rainy season, but I believe technology can answer.
Got lost at night on the way to the resort since Google Map sent us at the wrong track just next to the entrance. It was scary and dangerous. Hope it can be fixed?
GGuest UserThe hotel is spacious and relatively quiet, boasting a large swimming pool and a good variety of rooms. Traveling with family, we opted for a large suite. Overall, our stay was satisfactory. The main points for improvement would be the lack of warm water and the rather noisy air conditioning. Despite these minor issues, it offered good value for money.
PPYAE SONEOh. So it really depends on what you want yea. If you wish to be far from the cosmopolitan cities areas - this would be ideal. It really gives you the vibe of being in your own world with your own friends. It's far from town, so please ensure you have bought all you needed during the stay. Swimming Pool is a bit dirty but you can't blame them as it's a dusty country side. The food is splendid. Pre-order you dinner, service and food was great. The rooms are beautiful and nice to take photos but quality of materials used for partition and toilet is poor.
杨杨逸麟Worth a visit and stay overnight here, the cat is cute, the view of the lake also is fantastic.
Also there are some tips that you'd better check in before the night time, otherwise the dog of the owner may scared you at night 🤣 But the owner will come out if the dog barking. And just like most of the other hotel, you need to bring your own toothbrush, shampoo and hairdryer.
In front of the guesthouse is a ww2 factory, they say will be a museum in the future, and some historical old wall hundred years ago which was used to agonist Mymmar invader
JJonesThe location is right on the water which was great! The room is a decent size and has a closet with a safe, and a desk to my some stuff on. Didn't try the TV but there was one in the room.
The toilet leaked all over the floor randomly when flushed, and the girlfriend found some hair on top of the blankets when we arrived. Those are the only negatives really.
Check-in was fast. Just fill in some information on a paper - no deposit needed, not even your passport. Check out counter didn't have anybody there at 7:30, so we just left the key behind the counter. For the price, I would definitely recommend this room.
There was this nice monitor lizard on the porch when I opened the patio doors, but it was harmless. The other picture is the view.
There was also a bit of loud music from the back of the hotel, which also has great outdoor seating, but it didn't last long.
