We recently spent two nights at U inchantree. The property has a beautiful location right on the river Kwai with beautiful views and thoughtfully appointed grounds. The restaurant was excellent for Breakfast, lunch and dinner. The service was excellent and the food presentation was fantastic. The rooms were clean and lovely. We also utilized their massage services and it was top notch! What really makes U Inchantree stand out is the friendly employees and excellent service. Gigi and Big went out of their way to make our stay memorable. They were fantastic and every employee was courteous and friendly. I would definitely recommend U Inchantree for your next stay in Kanchanaburi!

I’ve read many reviews on this hotel and think some are unfair, in general the hotel is a little tired but not to the point it would effect a holiday, and although very big complex, was very quite, pool was very clean, no pool bar but phone and menus were available and staff brought drinks food out, we stayed in the royal suite for three nights this suite was amazing so much space, two separate bedrooms both with dressing rooms and en suits, two lounges and dining areas one on each floor, along with small kitchen area, and 5 balconies, the apartment could be accessed on both floors leading to a covered walkway, the view of the river was lovely.
The hotel grounds are huge. There is a golf buggy that will take to you to entrance of grounds and it’s only 100mtr walk to bridge, there is a small market there and restaurants

The accommodation is located not far from Mueang Kanchanaburi District. Convenient transportation, there is a parking lot. It is many buildings, Building 1 has 3 floors in total, each building requires stairs, no elevator. There is a beautiful scenery next to the River Kwai and not far from the bridge over the River Kwai, the price of 1000 early. But there is a fee of 500 baht per dog. For a small room, there are single and double beds, and there is a balcony in front of the room with 1 set of tables. The main swimming pool is available and there is a cafe as well as a waterfront restaurant. The overall atmosphere is good. Dogs can come in the cafe and restaurant. The food is served in the middle of the taste. And in the breakfast section, it is a good set. A dog can be brought to every part of the hotel, but must be in the care of the owner.

The setting with grounds flowing down to the river is idyllic. The hotel itself is quite grand at first blush, but lack of maintenance and limited housekeeping soon becomes noticeable. Our room was very spacious with a balcony overlooking the pool and the river. Lack of a screen door meant you had to run the AC and keep the door closed to keep out mosquitos. Annoyingly out room was half a step up from the hallway and the large bathroom was half a step down. A bit of a tripping hazard and not suitable for a wheelchair user or any one with any mobility limitations. 2 beds had been pushed together to create a double but that meant the headboards did not line up with the bed or the single bed side table. Beds were comfortable, AC and internet worked fine. The whole place was passably clean but plenty of dust and insect casing were present on higher walls and surfaces. Breakfast was ok not great. Coffee was a little odd. Beautiful gardens but not convenient to town. Neigbouring property throws loud parties so noise could be an issue. Towels were threadbare but sheets were nice. We left housekeeping a tip anyway figuring people had been hard up during Covid. No nearby dining so captive audience situation at dinner as town is hard to get to. The rice barge dining room floating on the river was delightful as was the pool. Quite a lot of contradictory experiences in a single stay but could be splendid - having said that rates were fairly inexpensive.

Very pleasant stay in this elegant setting. Comfortable stand alone villa in well looked after garden setting. Very nice big pool , afternoon complimentary cake and tea is a nice touch. River Kwai at the bottom of the complex and the bridge is a 4km easy drive away. The addition of a sofa in the room would be most welcome as sitting on the bed is not ideal. All in all a very pleasant place to stay with friendly staff ,very clean and good facilities , good parking and easy access to the city. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is located near Kanchanaburi Bus Station, which is a 3-minute walk away. There are direct buses to Erawan Forest Park and back to Bangkok. There are also night markets, 711, bank ATMs, self-service laundromats, etc. nearby, which is very convenient. The hotel rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are separated into dry and wet areas. The hotel guests are mainly European and American guests. Breakfast provides simple baked bananas, croissants, and coffee. The hotel elevator is very interesting and overall very good.

I spent 3 nights here and was pleasantly surprised by the cost and quality of the property. I stayed in an upstairs room which was large, clean and well equiped. I had a large double bed, lounge and bench area to work at. Staff were very friendly and the reception spoke enough English to cover all my needs. The breakfast was limited to one Western choice but that is to be expected. The premises is located some way from from Kanchanaburi town so a car would be needed. I had a noise problem in one room but staff moved me straight away. Overall a good 3 star property for a good price.

We had a lovely time at Campster and stayed one night in the camper van. We arrived around 1 pm and got our room at 2 pm (we hadn't notified of our early arrival). We were served welcome drink (refreshing) while we waited by the pool for the room to get ready. The camper van was nice and compact with all basic facilities. The bunk beds can fit kids only. The location is out of the town but it was easy for find a grab. We paid around THB 200 from Death Bridge Railway station for a SUV which is reasonable. The driver offered us his services in case we needed to go around town or back to Bangkok but we had already booked a car for the next day to take us to Erawan in the morning and then to Bangkok in the evening (paid THB 2800 for SUV) whereas he had offered THB 3000.
There are limited options for food (especially since we eat halal only). We ordered veg pizza's which were not bad. They also have the ready to make noodles and food price is reasonable. There is unlimited supply of water free of cost. Coffee is not great. You get a drink eggs and toasts for breakfast that can be served in the restaurant or to your room.
The area is tidy and they have some activities like campfire (free marshmallows and yakult), swimming pool, playground/ garden, swings, bicycles and kayaks. For an additional cost they also arrange jet ski, standing board, water bike and wet raft.
The staff are friendly and helpful but many of them don't speak English. The supervisor is a nice lady and speaks fluent english.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and i would prefer it any day over staying in a regular hotel.

The attractions that we are impressed with and have been able to experience the atmosphere. Is Mida Hotel is a luxury beach hotel available. The interior of the room is decorated in a simple modern style that looks comfortable and the bathroom is clean and has all the amenities. There is a pool to play. And there are food arranged in a buffet style. There are both local food to food in a 5 star hotel I had the opportunity to travel because my sister was an employee in Mida Company. Me and my family are very impressed with that place. Good service, good conversation and natural Phil.

MMichaelChenThis hotel is located in a quiet valley, surrounded by green mountains, quiet and peaceful, suitable for travelers who like quiet, but the hotel environment is excellent, there are mountains and water, standing on the balcony can see the opposite peak, and the small river valley under the feet, you can also take a boat from the hotel's pier to the river. In addition, the hotel is also suitable for families and friends to travel together, because the roof can be used for open-air barbecue, very emotional. The hotel is fully equipped with an electric kettle, soap, shampoo, but no toothpaste toothbrush is provided. The room was clean and the staff was very good. The hotel serves three meals and tastes good. If you want to eat outside, there are good roadside restaurants around for a few minutes, delicious and cheap. In short, the hotel is not in the lively area, but it is located in the middle of Ailuwan National Park and the Guihe Bridge and the Death Railway. It is about half an hour's drive in both directions. It is very convenient for motorists. It is highly recommended for this quiet and beautiful hotel.

GGuest UserI usually stay in international business hotels but with none obviously available in Kanchanaburi, we read TA reviews and chose Chez Bure. What a great hidden gem! Simple but effective decor, the room was perfect for a one night stay with hot water and a clean comfy bed. The service was lovely, with the team members always happy and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble and they were so generous. Free home made muffins, cookies and even snacks in the room! Breakfast was simple but filled a hole and was perfect. One final things I wish to highlight was how clean the room and all areas were. Better than some hotels I stay at! Overall highly recommended for a short stay.

GGuest UserI recently stayed at Hop Inn Kanchanaburi, and it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I checked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and efficient service. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to assist with any needs or questions.
The rooms at Hop Inn are clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. My room was spotless and had all the essentials, including a comfortable bed, a spacious bathroom, and reliable Wi-Fi. I also appreciated the practical touches like the mini-fridge and ample storage space.
Location-wise, Hop Inn Kanchanaburi is fantastic. It's conveniently situated close to key attractions such as the River Kwai Bridge and the War Cemetery, making it easy to explore the area's rich history. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, which was a big plus.

I cannot comment on the Hotel itself as we did not stay there but their customer service was fantastic. We had to cancel our accommodation at short notice as Thai Airways had cancelled our flight meaning we could no longer stay there, despite us going over the cancellation period they were so accommodating in offering us a full refund. They did not have do this so thank you Good Times Resort

Comfortable and well-serviced lodgings, friendly & helpful staff with adequate level of English, excellent buffet breakfast - great selection - with choice of indoor / outdoor dining. There's a café out front which is a great spot for leisurely people-watching, and becomes a bar in the evening. Cleanest public bathroom in all of Thailand in café area! Swimming pool was clean and partly shaded when I used it. Fitness room was basic. Numerous eateries and bars in the area, although it's at the quieter end of the street. 7-11 very close-by. Walking distance to night market and other attractions. Excellent and cheap laundry service nearby (30 baht per kg!). I'll stay here again.

Aanthony pycroftThe hotel is in an excellent location close to everything. A huge downside is very limited hours for check in. The biggest issue however is the fact only 1 room key is given. This causes problems as the hotel needs the room key to access the building from outside and to access the area where rooms are located. This can cause problems when one person wants to stay or return to the room as without the room key there is no electricity. We did ask for a second key but this was declined. Also the bed is as hard as concrete !

GGuest UserWas really nice…. a long time ago? This was a very strange experience. The Comsaed appears that it was once a bustling and lively resort, with amenities for many guests, stalls for vendors to set up, bars located throughout the resort property, lovely pool…but aside from one other family, another couple, the staff, and several monitor lizards walking about, it was deserted! There were no vendors or bartenders at the empty bar areas, hardly any guests. Maybe it was the off-season? It was odd. The room was clean (though dated), the staff was accommodating and friendly, the food was decent, the pool was clean and refreshing in a lovely setting. Just strange to be in a big resort with hardly a soul.

GGuest UserThe guest house has a range of rooms from more modern concrete structures to wooden cottages set on wooden piers in a quiet tributary of the River Kwai. We were upgraded to a riverfront cottage, of which there are about four. The others are set slightly back but still have a river view. It’s a budget guest house, (we paid around £20 per night and stayed 3 nights) so don’t expect any frills. Things are a bit worn but it was clean enough and the bed was the comfiest I’ve had in Asia. We used our own mosquito net but even after a lot of recent rain we had no problem with insects. One slightly disconcerting thing was that the shower, and I believe though not certain, that the toilet flushes straight into the river! Despite that there is plenty of wildlife around, lots of birds and one morning we saw a 4 foot monitor lizard swim across the river. It’s very central- 5 mins walk to bars, restaurants, supermarkets etc. in spite of that and the fact that it was a holiday weekend it seemed quiet with lots of spare rooms and we slept very well. We enjoyed our time here and would come again.

AAl_Marriott1As the title of my review says, the staff are great. Knowledgeable of the local area, easy to deal with and very welcoming. I found them incredibly helpful. The owner has fluent English which makes thing easier as well. There are also 4 lovely dogs that greet you every time you arrive home. They always take up 10 minutes of my time when I get back. I was a little put out that the room has no warm water and there are no plug points in the room so charging your items is resigned to leaving them in the common area, although the owner had a solution for this and had an extension cord which ran all the way to my room through the window. The price is good and compared to other options and is the closest riverside accommodation to the bus station. I want to thank the owner for all of his help during my stay.
