We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely choose it again. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They also took the time to help us find a tour while we are with them.
We really enjoyed our welcoming letter and felt the personalization was a great touch.
The breakfast the next morning was very yummy and filling

Hotel ideally located for an easy access to the city center of Kampot. The hotel is well designed despite the sizes of the rooms which are smaller than what you can usually get in Cambodia for this room rate.
The women running the hotel are lovely and really helpful.
They helped organizing a one day tour of the countryside to La Plantation and to Kep. The tuktuk driver that they recommended was really nice and interesting. He spoke good English.
They offered to cook the breakfast for takeaway as we had to leave early.
Will definitely come back.

A stunning hotel in every way! From the intricate handpainted details to the spectacular courtyard palms. We were so well looked after by Gilly and her team. They organised a Kep and pepper farm visit and even gave us tips on the best local gin. The breakfasts were amazing too. One of the most lovely hotel stays.

Booked this hotel via *******. My plans changed.It was booked, fully refundable, pay at property. I needed to cancel due to travelling plans and despite booking as fully refundable, pay at property, they charged my card. It is telling and probably a near miss. Things like that are red flags to me.

The Old Cinema is a conversion of an abandoned movie theater into a lovely, art deco style modern hotel. The owners have put a lot of thought and a lot of love into creating this oasis. The property is colorful, with art deco flourishes everywhere, even down the detailing of doors and furniture. There in an inner courtyard with lush foliage and a beautiful swimming pool. Rooms are very comfortable and full of character. Bathrooms are well equipped and everything is scrupulously clean. There is a a very good restaurant, and the breakfasts are particularly delicious. The location is excellent, a short walk from the riverside and its entertainments. Highly recommended!

Very nice hotel in the heart of Kampot. The staff are very friendly, the hotel is very clean and beautiful. They also gave us tips for the surrounding area and restaurants. The great welcome drink (tea) and the excellent breakfast deserve special mention! This is still the best thing we have enjoyed on our vacation. Many thanks to the great team on site!

What a super little hotel. Pauline took exceptional care of us from the moment we walked in the hotel. Within 10 minutes of arriving we felt right at home. The hotel arranged an excellent tuktuk tour for us and gave us great advice on what we should do and see in the area. The style of the hotel is quite unique and very well done. The breakfasts were delicious and persuaded us that we should stay in for dinner. Dinner did not disappoint. Yummy food. Just a shame more people don’t realise there is an excellent restaurant within the hotel.

There is soooo much to love about this little hotel. It has been beautifully renovated and the daily breakfast was superb. The central location to old Kampot is perfect for exploring the historical centre and river front. The staff were exceptional and super helpful. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 simply based on the comfort of the bedding. Without a doubt these are the hardest beds I've slept on in SE Asia. It was like sleeping on floorboards. The wonderful owner arranged a mattress topper immediately which made a small difference however it was still super uncomfortable.
