Fairway Boutique Hotel is one of the best hotels I have stayed in East Africa, the hotel was bigger than expected, it is more than a boutique. The service was excellent, and all staff from all levels were respectable and charming, The room was very good as expected and the area within the hotel was too quiet

The smiles in the reception from Carol and Derrick; and several others...always welcoming us back:-) The service in the restaurant and by the pool was topped with mr. Phillips. And to have Moses serving a beer named Nile Special....is a special moment!:-)

Great hotel for the price in Kampala. Much improved over previous visits with notably upgraded rooms. Staff are uniformly attentive and friendly which was appreciated over a 2+ week stay. Great, large pool and fitness center. Good location near city center and a variety of restaurants. Breakfast buffet is huge, varied and changes daily. Dinners may be as good as it gets in Kampala though it helps if you like Indian as they do that cuisine well. Only complaint was the limited selection of TV channels - mostly Indian or old movies.

My Friends and I had the worst customer care from Asian Fusion. Specifically from Shamim who served us on that day. We made a reservation for 15 people, ordered a cake and paid for it as well. Only to be told to pay 100k separate after arriving at the venue on the actual day. 100k was Not inclusive of the fees for any eats we were going to order. We could have understood if it were a policy , we would have been told to pay that on booking. But we came on budget and 100k isn't a small amount of money really for an average person. Making matters worse we managed to pay half and leave the place but even the receipts goven to us were not bearing our names, it seems to me like they were trying to cover up for an expense. A policy is a policy why did they allow to alter it and make us pay 50k instead. So many question marks. NOT forgetting the attitude Shamim had when we told her we weren't comfortable with paying the abrupt 100k.

Once again Fairway provided the very best experience. The cleanliness of the rooms, the attention to detail and the friendliness of all the staff is a credit to them. We will continue to return as often as we can. I would love to see the menu expanded to include more options and some Ugandan traditional foods too.

We hosted an event at the hotel, the staff are poorly trained, rude, slow and generally incompetent. The banquet room and chairs were dusty, set up slow, linen poor quality, an item was forgotten from the menu, drinks were not prepared per our advance order. No supervision at all. The food quality was reasonable but totally overpriced. I would not recommend the hotel to anyone for an event.

Excellent hotel - my favourite when working in Kampala. Food at Asian Fusion is excellent, staff are brilliant, Carol (team leader on front desk) ensures nothing is too much trouble. Rooms always immaculate and the location is perfect for travel.

This is hands down one of the best places I have stayed at for my work trips! The place is beautifully green, the staff are professional and so friendly! The deluxe rooms are cosy, super clean and spacious! There is also good entertainment in the evening...I enjoyed the live band on Thursday. I will definitely visit again...thank you to the team for their unmatched hospitality!
