Average little Motel. The beds are OK and the place is clean. Bath in a "plastic-closet" - strange. Sounds like the neighbor is taking a bath in your room. The breakfast was poor and the coffee bad. I had problems with the online booking made in advance. Had to book again on the doorstep. A bit inconvenient.

New ownership and new name - Auberge Akamaraska. TripAdvisor has no easy way to change the name. Great location and apparently the whole auberge is being redone, so all is fresh and clean. Location is perfect, especially to go the the Poissonnerie Lauzier for great seafood. Annoying "no contact" / self service, so don't get to visit with the owner or manager of the place, which is part of the fun of staying in a small auberge or gîte.

Chambre propre, parking gratuit sont les points positifs Petit déjeuner rudimentaire, insonorisation absente, mobilier vieillot, pas de réception (tout se fait par code reçu par mail), douche tiède et petit débit sont les points négatifs. Tout ça pour 285$ pour 1 nuit en chambre double. Il y a d’autres endroit avec plus de charme

Réservation de dernière minute, nous avons eu la chance d'avoir une chambre. Petite mais confortable, le déjeuner continental était très bien, assez varié. Cette auberge a changé de nom et s'appelle maintenant Auberge Akamaraska. C'est un hébergement de style auto-enregistrement ("self check-in"), vous recevez le code sur votre téléphone, il n'y a pas de réceptionniste.
