Hotels near Imaihama Beach in Kamo District

This used to be our favorite summer spot. We'd return at least once a year, for perhaps 4-5 years in a row. However, we hadn't been back for quite a long time. This is what I learned on our most recent visit: The hotel room (I think we had a ”Hollywood Standard Twin) was quite spacious. The beds were large and comfortable, and there is a nice-sized balcony with a generous ocean view. I see some other reviews on Tripadvisor calling the rooms ”old and smelly” -- this has never, ever been my experience, not once. The room seemed exactly as it was over 10 years ago, but that's fine. The colors are soft, muted ”beach” colors and we were very comfortable. On our first night we ate at the ”Melesea” restaurant, which serves French cuisine. We chose the ”Demi portion” course, which was about 9,000 yen (about $62USD with today's exchange rate). We chose it because it wasn't as high priced as some of the other course meals and the portion sizes sounded right for us. There is no question that the ”Demi portion” course was one of the best I've ever had in my life. The chef (Mr. Ohki) is obviously a professional who really understands how to bring out the delicate flavors of any dish, and he is a master at preparing sauces. Everything that was served was outstanding. No, we didn't want to pay that much money per person, but ultimately we made the right choice. We both were extremely impressed. The above two things, plus generally good weather, added up to a good experience. Here, though, are things that you should be aware of: This is essentially a family hotel. That means if you are coming here for peace and quiet, and you make the mistake of coming on a weekend or a national holiday, you can expect lots of screaming children running with abandon down the hallways and fussing in the restaurants and everywhere else. Japanese parents tend to indulge and spoil their little ones. And forget about using the pool, since that's where parents will be staked out the first thing in the morning. If you are a parent, you might find this to be the perfect hotel. If you aren't, and you do not enjoy the boundless energy and noise of children, you will be sorry you booked a room here. So, think carefully about the dates you arrive and leave. As for prices: Although you can get a ”Tokyu Hotel” member card, and although you can find online promotions, the way the hotel makes its money is through its dinners. You are going to pay a lot for them, although there is effort put into them, so, you do feel you are having an ”experience.” But they do not come cheaply. Also, if you don't book your room with breakfast, expect to pay ¥2900 for a ”buffet breakfast.” If you are Japanese, you will love this breakfast; if not, you will find an adequate selection of items for a Western breakfast. But what if you want to go ”out to eat” at night, instead of paying between 10-20,000 yen for a meal? Good luck. Unless you have your own car (and I'd say about 90% of the customers

Good food and service

I stayed for the first time on November 25. I'm going to visit a relatively many hot spring inn, but the inn here was a perfect 5 star inn in all without complaints. I was able to spend very slowly with my mind and body. The inn here is surprisingly hospitality, and it is the impression that everyone in the building is treated politely and accurately. Because it is conscious of the guests everywhere, I tasted the impression of ”hospitality culture” such as ”itching place”. Especially the man who went down to the room is splendid, and I should want to follow the pick-up to the public road of the narrow road! But it may be someone else's thing) It was a great customer service that I couldn't forget for a long trip, a feeling of gratitude, a warm smile, and any one. Of course, the facilities in the building are kept clean, and the entrance, lobby, the sense of light furnishings and beautiful paintings with a sense of liberation. I was impressed with the space that harmonized the atmosphere and modernism of the old good building well. The hot spring was healed by a very good hot spring with a natural hot spring without complaints of the source 100 ％ hanging water. The difficulty of temperature adjustment was taken off the hat by skillful technique to adjust the amount of water to the weather and temperature of the day and to keep the temperature. I am glad to consider that natural hot springs are not dependent on water, and that they can enjoy the effect. And how come, the hot spring effect here is quite long, and the couple were surprised that the body was swollen from check-out to home 々. The meal was made by us for 2 choices, so we had １ people 1 tails of ISE shrimp oni shell baked and cherry blossom steamed, and my husband had a Japanese beef steak. There is a volume in the basic course, so the two choices were quite full and left a little. The dishes were only good evaluation in other people's word of mouth, and they were delicious without complaint in all, and sashimi was especially fresh and very satisfied. Aromaeste 90 minutes and husband ordered 90 minutes of massage, but aromaeste was warm enough to sweat the effect of color salt that matched the mood to the foot bath using the hot spring You can start the esthetics, so you can completely take the body and fatigue. I wrote about esthetics in my hot spring blog, but the esthetician has a certain career and a certain technology, and is healed by personality, and it is very recommended for those who want to relax more deeply it was a salon. Frankly speaking, there was only one review online before I was very worried, but I felt pretty good after the actual stay. Here is next to the bus station 🚏Takegahama, take S31 or 40 from Izu Shimoda to take one stop (170 yen), or walk for 10 minutes. The hotel is a gray house with a very modern interior. It can also be seen from the room that it is a Japanese-style hotel with a modern design style, which is great. Booked a normal room, in fact, just one person, couples and friends are OK, three people must be crowded. Compared with traditional Japanese-style hotels, there are toilets in the room and baths, and there are hot springs outside the room. Although they are public, they can be used alone (up to 30 minutes per person) (the water temperature is relatively high. It is recommended that friends who have not soaked before entering. Use a small pot to pour the whole body and get into the soup later. The hotel has bicycle and surfboard rentals, bicycles are 2,000 yen a day, and surfboards are 5,000 yen.

The property has amazing ocean views high on an outcropping, but none of the rooms with an ocean view have a balcony, except the very edge of the east wing. Wonderful gardens with a path lading down to a small beach that isn't too noteworthy. The rooms have been updated since the construction and are pretty good overall. The pool was closed in June, which was pretty disappointing, especially as the beach is below par. The onsen facilities met expectation. The beds are firm, which I loved, but not everyone likes a firm mattress. The hotel operates a bus service to pick up guests from the train station twice an hour from 9-5pm. If you are doing dinner out in the town or drinks in the evening, you have to grab a taxi back as the walk is a bit of a hike. The hotel staff are very friendly and kind, the concierge knows the area and has great recommendation for activities...wonderful and friendly people. The hotel restaurant serves a nice mostly Japanese breakfast (as expected) with local delicacies, wide range of teas, coffee and juice as well as a great selection of breads and fresh fruit. The hotel restaurant for dinner is average. Our group ordered a range of items off the menu and no one was terribly impressed. The lone stand out was the French Onion soup, packed with flavor, though a bit light on the cheese. Would stay here again if the price was right, was able to get rooms at a discount on this stay as it was rainy season.

I used it to dive with three companions. Because of the corona cherry blossoms, I didn't hit the search for a single room, and it was a fairly large room, and I made a reservation to make a social distance. It seems that there was a coupon use by a certain site and a prepaid discount, and about 6000 yen per person including hot water tax. It is a rich view in a luxurious room that doesn't usually make a reservation first, and it feels sorry to not stay with my wife. The public bath is also a natural hot spring, and the open-air bath is a source of water. The inner bath was written as being chlorine disinfected by circulation, but the smell of hot water is not known. There were sauna and water baths, and it was quite slow. The original is like a resort condominium, and the passage faces outdoors, but unless it is rained in the rain of the side hit, it is positive only for the noise like the corridor I felt it. I didn't have a meal, so I can't evaluate it there, but I think it is quite convenient to use it in a group of multiple people because there is a set of cooking equipment and a large refrigerator in the room. It is a big facility, but all the spaces are well air-conditioned and no negative points were found.

This hot spring hotel is the one that I and my friends agree that the meals are the most careful and the best. Ise Sea always has steaming, sashimi, and simmering, each of which is amazing! Burning is another order, 3300 yen per one, which is more cost-effective than in Tokyo. Breakfast is lobster miso soup, full of sincerity. The room is very wide, with a large sea-view balcony, facing the whole sea, I feel very relaxed and happy. The quality of Tangquan is clean and good. For those of us who don't sleep well or slept late, we went to bed early at 10 o'clock on the day of check-in. The service really reflects the value of traditional Japanese service. It is very careful and keeps a comfortable distance, which makes people very relaxing and pleasant. For those who like billiards and singing, this hotel is equipped with related facilities, so you don’t have to be bored at night. If you want to have a late night snack, the vending machine has instant noodles, and you are not afraid that there is no convenience store nearby and you will be hungry. On the day of check-in, there is a pick-up at the station. The car is about 7-10 people on the big platform. It is completely effortless to arrive at the hotel. Trip.com can assist with the reservation, and you are not afraid of language barriers. In short, it was a very happy experience, and I would still choose this one when I come to Izu soup.

I dont usually write about the places I stayed to but I just thought this one deserve a review.. also to help others who is thinking of booking this villa but having second thought just like me since it doesnt provide much photos. Im a kind of person who gather information first before making decision... with this one i cant get that much info or review but book it anyway since it is only for a 1 night stay.. so we stayed there for a night and i must say my family and I loves the room we stayed too. aside from the clean room, the man who assist us was really nice up until we check out and waited until we go.. wave goodbye at us and my kids wave back to him and they were smiling... felt like u just went to a family vacation house and a family is waving bye at u saying see u soon... but anyway this is my review... dont get discourage by the apperance of the outside & the lobby it may not look fancy but for us it looks fine I provided some photos... anyway when we get to the room I was amazed because its very clean and spacious it felt like it is more than what I paid for. I didnt expect too much because I know I chose the cheapest place that I can book since we just need a place to rest after beach and before a long drive the next day but it exceeded my expectation... their very generous with their amenities they have instant coffee and electric kettle, theres also a fridge where you can put your food, with us what we did is we already brought some food so we dont need to buy outside after beach because there is no restaurant close to the villa but if u didn’t brought food there is a close convenient store at shirahama beach where you can buy food and bring it at the villa they have table and couch too inside the room... oh I love the shampoo and conditioner the brand is shisheido (so generous) the bottles were big that even you stay for a week it will be enough they provide shaver, toothbrush and toothpaste too and the towels are white/clean... I love everything about this place the only negative thing I can say is that the top part of the shower curtain has little mold but we didn’t mind since the shower curtain is clean just only the top part maybe because its not new but like i said we didnt mind, because bathroom is so clean... Were planning to go back shimoda again next year since 1 day is not enough to explore it and we will definitely book this place again... thanks again to the man who assisted us. He is so nice...

I used it for a few days back, but I stayed for the first time. It is convenient to use the day-trip hot spring hall after checking out on the day of the stay. The pool is also available at a discount price and full of elements that can be enjoyed quite. The room chose a large room with a veranda, but it may be good to be far from the main building and narrow. I was at the day trip hot spring hall and tried to use it open-air. It is not cheap, but you can relax with your family. The zashiki is also large. However, there is nothing to bring food and drink (with a refrigerator). The public bath is a great view open-air bath as well as a day trip. It becomes a little narrow version. It is a great view whenever you go.
