I felt safe taking my dog out for walks around the neighborhood. There weren't any unsavory characters hanging around the parking lot or in the neighborhood. There was a nice neighborhood a block away and you can see that the owners took pride in their gardens.
It was nice that the air conditioning was already on when I checked into the room.

The room is of a good size, but the bathroom is very small. Pet-friendly, but only semi-basement rooms are available for pets. There is no kettle, which can be replaced by a coffee machine. Clean and sanitary, the facilities are a bit old, suitable for business trips

The room was a bit on the small side , the smoke detector had been disconnected and the dresser handles were poorly repaired.

This property is old, run down, and in need of updating. Homeless in back alley, old metal windows, no sound proofing. Mattress needs replacing, bathroom too small to close the door, and internet access ridiculous.

The location is walking distance to downtown and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and the room was surprisingly quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The building is run down and the outside windows are very dirty. You get what you pay for. The price for what I got was reasonable.

Needs updating, but Manager was helpful
An older building that needs updating. The washroom and furnishings were definitely dated. The closet sliding door was broken, i.e., removed an just left in the closet.
However, the Manager was very helpful as she provided the power bar (which was going to be installed anyways) as there was not enough outlets.

I have stayed at a lot of Sandman’s and this by far has been the most run down. I watched the desk clerk put scotch tape on the door jam to hold the little bracket on the door! The one and only ice machine was on the first floor and out of order. The front desk was closed from 11pm to 7am. It felt very unsafe at this hotel.
