We were booked in a westernized Japanese room which was quite spacious. The hotel is in a central area so it’s easy to go around the village. There is big parking lot and it was raining but the hotel had an employee stationed at the doorway to give and receive the umbrellas. We had a beautiful kaiseki meal for dinner and breakfast. I enjoyed the onsen. I wish we spent a longer time in the area so I can savor the bed and wake up late.

After deciding to stay at Kinosaki Onsen, I was torn between choosing a small ryokan, but in the end I think it was a good value for money.
