The exterior looked old, but the interior was in good condition. The baths for men and women are changed depending on the day. When I went in at night, it was early and there weren't many people, so I went in slowly. The open-air bath only allows outside air to enter, but you cannot see the outside scenery at all. I took a different bath in the morning, but the open-air bath was under repair. It may be a little strange for people who place a lot of importance on the bath. You can also visit the outside baths, so it might be a good idea to enjoy the hot springs to your heart's content. I don't know. The view from the room was on the opposite side of the river, so I could only see the back of the building, but the four-person room was divided into a Western-style room on the first floor and a Japanese-style room on the second floor, so it was a relaxing stay. Dinner and breakfast were buffets, and there was quite a lot of variety. Since the restaurant was fully booked, more dishes were added one after another, so there was never a time when I couldn't get what I wanted. For dessert, there was also soft serve ice cream, which the kids were happy with. After deciding to stay at Kinosaki Onsen, I was torn between choosing a small ryokan, but in the end I think it was a good value for money.

I saw Conan know the Kinosaki Onsen, and after I arrived at the Kinosaki Onsen Station on the JR5, I can contact the hotel reception desk. There is a car to pick up the hotel. The hotel is like a paradise on the lakeside and has its own yard. It is a fine traditional Japanese courtyard. Building, we go to the crab season, dinner is full crab feast, breakfast is also very delicate, the waiter is warm and thoughtful, peach wine and local craft beer are very delicious, next time a friend wants to go to Kinosaki will recommend this. Far from the hot spring town, we didn't go to the 7 pools in the town. The public soup pool is not very interesting. The hotel also has public baths, as well as free Yakult for drinking soup. Although writing 12 o'clock check-out, the hotel's last bus to the station is 11 o'clock. You can go to the town after you store your luggage at the station, eat the horse butt bun, and then take the 2 o'clock to the city of Osaka.

This time, I chose a room with a strange name called ”room only for high windows”. As the name suggests, there is no window in the room. But the interior of the room was new and very beautiful. The toilet and washbasin were also glittering. It is a very quiet room because the noise from outside comes in at all! However, it is a place where the preference is separated because the feeling is strong and the lighting is dark, Merritt is close to the dining room. It is the feeling that it was renovated and made in the place where it was not a room. It is rare that there is only ３ room in this inn, and it is good in a sense? The biggest attraction of this inn is the open-air bath ♨️ on the top floor! The open-air bath in the middle of the mountain up the long crossing corridor and stairs was relaxed as a forest bath. The difficulty is that there is no amenities only in the open-air bath, so if you don't come in the bathroom below, you can't do anything. In addition, since the corridor is long and naked, it is not possible to move, and it is troublesome if it doesn't know it, because it has to wear clothes every time. But if you enter, I think there is a feeling that will forget that. The building of the inn is very long and the movement is very easy to understand. It is a hot spring area without anything in the mountains, but it was a perfect hot spring for the original purpose of enjoying hot springs. I want to go to winter and enjoy crab this time. It's nice that the ski area is close!

The building is a bit old but clean. Of course, credit cards are also available. The hot spring has ２ inner hot water (both men and women １ one), ２ open-air bath (both men and women １ one), and it is a change system, so you can enter ４ types in all. The １ of the open-air baths need to walk up to different floors, so the person who is inconvenient may be a little bit hard about it. (The scenery is very good) The outer bath ticket can be used even after checking out (15:30) and is very convenient. It's a little off the hot spring town, but it's not as painful to walk (it takes about 10 minutes to walk, so it may be hard for people who can't get used to shoes or geta). There are few restaurants near the hotel, and if you don't eat at the hotel, you need to go out to the hot spring town. Liquor such as beer is sold at the hotel, but it is expensive to buy it in the hotel. There is also a transfer car operated by the hotel, and the transfer from JR Shirosaki station is convenient. If you want to use it, please check the time zone well. (The hot spring town was also available in the evening) Please note that the underground facilities are closed due to the new corona virus infection (2020 ８ month). The room also has a refrigerator, washbasin, toilet and bath, but the bath is quite small (I think I won't use it much because I use hot spring towns and hotel public baths). This time I used a plan with lunch box. I think it was very cost-effective with lunch boxes in the morning and evening at １ million yen.

Stayed one night with breakfast included. It was a ryokan that was strangely calm even though it was small and close to the station. You can also raise the roll screen on the veranda facing the street and watch people passing by. The indoor bath was good, and above all, the breakfast was the most delicious. Especially the miso soup and *yaki. The clams in the miso soup are so big that they can be mistaken for clams. It is said to have been harvested from a nearby river. After checking out, when I passed by the window, a big stuffed animal cat was peeking through the window, and I couldn't help but take a picture.

I stayed here for easy local bus access to Izushi castle town. The staff were very welcoming and on arrival you get to choose 2 free items from the ‘mini bar’ (beer, soft drink, chocolate, chips). The hotel is very functional. I had a double bed room and I think you could squeeze (and I mean squeeze) two small suitcases and still be able to walk in the room. The bed was typically very firm but the more European pillows were soft. Hallway and other room noise (TVs) comes under the door but as the clientele seemed to be be mostly Japanese and very respectful, it was quiet around 10pm. The set Japanese breakfast is very filling. If you are on a budget, Sky Hotel is a good base for day trips (12min local train, Y200) to Kinosaki-onsen.

Our favourite booking throughout our entire Japan trip! This inn is a family business so you can imagine how hospitable the entire family was to us this 2D1N. Regretted not staying 1 more day as the entire village was very relaxing. Room is super clean, yukata was provided for us to visit the public baths, access to all 7 public baths provided as well. We have everything we need with this inn! There’s also a private onsen in the hotel and the host was very helpful and nice about everything. He even went out of his way to send us to & fro the Kinosakionsen station… thank you so much we had fun and enjoyed it! Will definitely stay here again. ＜3
