The first impression of the hotel was clean and calm. The decoration such as the front desk, the room, the corridor is modest, and there is a elegant atmosphere that can feel attentive. The deluxe twin of the 2-way specification is recommended. Bedroom and living room? When you close the door, you can't hear much of the sound of TV and so on in the bedroom. The tired person can lie in the bed first. It is convenient for sightseeing. 15 〜 20 minutes walk to Hirozawa Ike pond and JR Saga Arashiyama Station. We parked a car at the hotel and visited Seiryo Ji Temple and Kano nenbutsu Ji Temple, Gion Ji Temple and Nison in temple on foot. Near Saga Arashiyama, the car cannot move due to traffic jam. Parking is also full. There is a rental cycle in the hotel. The staff is also helpful.

Arashiyama gets quiet after six o'clock in the evening, and you feel like the beautiful scenery belongs only to you. The hotel will also give you coupons for the hot spring shop next to it (be sure to bring the hotel's bath towel and bring it back to the hotel), so you can soak in the hot spring. Drinking a glass of milk from the vending machine makes me feel better.

We love this hotel. The room was big enough for 4 of us, and the mattress was very comfort. For me and family, a hotel supposed to be like this. A place to rest after a long day of visiting places. It was clean, quite and just love the area.

The hotel is a 5 minute (with luggage) walk away from the Saga Arashiyama station. While it is relatively quiet around the hotel itself it is only a 10 minute walk to the main street in Arashiyama. It was very convenient for us to get to the main sights every day. Due to it's great location, we manage to arrive at the bamboo forest by 730am before the huge crowds arrived. We stayed in the annex room and it was wonderful, as it felt like we had a little corner house all to ourselves. The room was clean, comfortable and peaceful. Nespresso coffee was also served in the room. The hotel was also kind enough to leave us a little Japanese souvenir (cloth and coin purse) in the room. If you are looking for a base to explore Arashiyama, we highly recommend this hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

Arashiyama/Sagano/Takao | 9.55km from JR Kameoka Station
Opened in October 2020, the entire building is reserved and has an elegant floor plan of 70 m2 or more that can accommodate 10 people. It provides a relaxing and relaxing time away from daily life. It is the best place for walking around Sagano and visiting the movie village. Arashiyama is nearby, and you can easily access other sightseeing spots in Kyoto city, so you can feel the charm of Kyoto throughout the four seasons. It's a little far from the town of Kyoto, and it's not inconvenient for about 7 minutes from the nearby [Saga-Arashiyama] station to Nijo by JR. "

There are supermarkets, drug makeup, convenience stores around, about 10 minutes' walk from Lushan Station. Three people live in this duplex homestay is simply cool, there should be some equipment, wifi air conditioning is very good, only the kitchen has some oil scale, but the problem is not big, give praise!

I stayed in a western-style double room. The hotel is in a beautiful area convenient to Arashiyama Park and the bamboo way. It’s a short walk to Arashiyama station. On check in most of the front end staff spoke English and explained the hotel with some hotel literature in English. If meals are included they are served at the in house restaurant. The front end staff will provide a ticket and reservation window for you to show up and you claim new tickets each day you are entitled to a meal. Unfortunately most of the restaurant staff did not speak any English and the menus are in Japanese so those with limited Japanese may have some difficulty. Meals are kaiseki-style and I really enjoyed dinner on both nights I stayed. Breakfast consists of a combination of Japanese served dishes and buffet. The room was a good size for Japan and includes a private shower for those who don’t wish to venture to the onsen. The public bath was standard to most public baths I’ve been to. What was strange was I couldn’t find a thermostat of any sort so my only options were warm a/c or open window. There’s a small garden in the middle of the hotel however it’s nothing special when compared to the surrounding areas which are definitely worth a stroll through. Note that they have large size yukata if the standard does not fit. I am 183cm/6 ft tall and I appreciated the staff being proactive about offering the large size. Considering the price I paid for the room and half board I had a good time. Arashiyama is definitely worth a night or 2 for visitors and I would definitely consider Ranzan for the budget-minded traveler looking for a ryokan experience in Arashiyama.

My wife’s birthday trip at the Suiran was a dream come true. With successive Covid cancellations, it took us four years of planning, but it was worth the wait. With their traditional Japanese structures and landscaping, the Suiran was our oasis of calm during Kyoto’s busiest season (cherry blossoms). We enjoyed a wonderful dinner and the best breakfasts of our lives in their dining room, and blissful riverside happy hours in their cafe. Our comfortable room had all the amenities, and a soothing minimalist aesthetic. The Suiran staff is spectacular: thoughtful, gracious, attentive. Through our years of planning and days of enjoyment, we were guided by Suiran’s chief concierge, Hiromi Maruyama. Her kindness, patience, and expertise added greatly to the success of our time in Kyoto. Her suggestions and insights, and good spirits were a beacon shining our way. We are indebted to her for her efforts on our behalf.

I've stayed there for 2 nights and everything is just amazing. The staff upgraded my room which had a sauna and bath tub. Snacks and drinks were replenished every day. The breakfast was great and the dinner was just amazing. They provided a variety of drinks (wine, sake, juice, tea, coffee, etc.) and it's all you can drink. They also provided free beers and drinks in the lobby resting area and you can watch live sports there at night. The hot spring is great as well. Highly recommend!

Breakfast was very good. There is no fried food and the seasoning is only gentle. The way to take it on an ordinary plate without a partition without using a tray is very smart and good. On the day I stayed, I was surprised to find my favorite bread called Masa in Gion Bologna. I was impressed with the hospitality of delivering omelets in the open kitchen to my seat. The room is clean and functional, but it's too functional, so be careful that if you put the organisms in the first night and go out for consecutive nights, the electricity in the refrigerator will be turned off and it will not work (although this is my inadvertent). Very satisfied, I will use it again.

GGuest UserThis hotel is on the mountain, and it is a single house for one person, so the indoor space is very large, so the outdoor temperature is also low, and there may be bugs in the house. (The hotel carefully prepared insecticide) Indoor facilities include a kettle, air conditioning, refrigerator, TV (free channels for children), stereo. There is also a cupboard on the wall? There are several sets of tea sets inside. There is no washing machine, there is a beverage machine not far from the door, surrounded by deserted people, no supermarket convenience store. Ctrip seems to show no wifi, but I actually found that there is. Note: The traffic is very inconvenient. Out of the hotel is the mountain road (motorized lane), no one walks, no street lights at night, passengers do not rent a car to walk, it is recommended to stick to the roadside to walk on the right. The nearest bus stop is sugio, in the east of Gotham City, about 1 km away, and it takes 15 minutes to walk. Sugisan is a village with several families. There are few bus classes, and there are three classes a day. The earliest class is 6:20, the second class is more than 12 noon, there is another class in the evening, but it is difficult to come back at night, it is recommended to go out at 6:20 in the morning. The latest bus to come back is the north exit of JR Gaoju Station, and it was missed at 3:55 in the afternoon. The nearest bus stop to the north is at the foot of the mountain. The Lushan Shrine in Guigang City (the red leaves in autumn are said to be not bad. I live in April with cherry blossoms. Look at the picture). The distance is 4 kilometers and it takes an hour to walk. If you miss the bus from Gaoqian at night, you can consider walking up the mountain from Guigang.

MmiaruntaI visited you on a family trip for the first time in a long time. Arrived with a very pleasant and exciting feeling from the phone response in advance. The staff warmly welcome you, and the sense of distance is good. All rooms are equipped with an open-air bath, free drinks in the refrigerator in the room, and all-you-can-eat ice cream such as Haagen-Dazs, Hanamochi and Azuki Bar. There was also a bottle of milk and fruit juice at the entrance and exit of the large communal bath, so I was relaxed. The variety of coffee was also free of charge. There was also a yukata rental service, and it was fun to choose color 々. There were also various rental items and it seemed convenient. There was also a steamer in the room and the amenities were L'Occitane. In the inn HP, there is a page called ”Improved”, which responds to customer requests one by one, and the contents of the improvement are written, and the sincere attitude of Mr. Suizumi has been conveyed. If you have an open-air bath in your room, you can take it at any time, and you can also have a thick bathrobe, so you can spend a relaxing time after taking a bath, and you can also take an open-air bath while looking at the full moon. The morning bath in the air was also the best. The dishes were lightly tailored with soup stock, and as my home, which is usually careful about eating, it was very delicious without getting thirsty afterwards with the strong seasoning peculiar to eating out. The waiter in charge 々 was very delicate and the food felt more delicious. Check-out is 11 o'clock, so I'm glad I can relax in the morning. The sweets I received at the last drop-off happened to be manufactured at the local welfare facility workshop when I happened to look back, and I thought it was delicious and the attitude as a company was wonderful. I would like to disturb you if I have another chance. Thank you very much.

GGuest UserThis ryokan always takes care of us at year-end parties. This time, my friend is going to be transferred to a distant place, so I visited her to have a farewell party. The room is a corner deluxe on the second floor. I requested a Western-style room, but I never expected to have such a room. Flooring that feels like it was carved by a craftsman in the total cypress guest room bath. It is luxurious with a TV on the wall of the living room and a coffee machine. I don't write about the meal in detail because I have it at the banquet every year (I like the meal, so I use it at the banquet...), but this time the matsutake mushrooms were steamed in an earthenware pot, which was still early in the season. I usually have dinner in a private room, but this time I am grateful that you prepared a spacious hall for a small number of people. Yunohana Onsen's evaluation in the local area, I think Suisen → Sumiya ≒ Shoenso → Keizankaku → Hoga is common, but I like Shoenso the best. (I've never stayed at Suisen because it's expensive, but...) I'll visit you again soon. Thank you very much.

清清清清I just stayed for two days. I was a little scared at first because there was no information about this hotel, but after I checked in, I found it to be very cost-effective! New hotel, about 2-3 minutes walk from the station. There is aeon nearby, as well as Akechi Mitsuhide statue and castle. If your itinerary is mainly Arashiyama, this hotel is very good. It is very fast to get to Arashiyama and there are beautiful scenery to see on the way! Many people are taking photos at Hojinkyo Station. It’s not expensive during the maple leaf season, it includes breakfast, and you can even take a bath! ! The night shift counter lady is very cute😏! ! ! ! ! And English is very good! Single decisive exchange phone numbers! The room was clean. There were no people on the street at night. My view was of the hotel and apartment opposite, but the space in the middle was very open and felt comfortable. In addition to the TV cabinet, there is also a table for guests to put things on when dining, as well as a small sofa and a chair. Add points! ! ! In addition, the breakfast is also delicious. Most of the guests I see are Japanese. It takes two minutes to the subway station, and there is also aeon, Mitsuhide Akechi statue and castle nearby. It’s not too far from Kyoto Station, a 30-minute drive.
