We stayed in the hotel on November 23 & 24, 2024. We had mixed experience. The restaurant food & service was good. One of the Restaurant staff Mr Zahid provided prompt & excellent service and that too under tremendous pressure. As regards rooms the main issue was hygiene of bathroom and problem of hot water supply. Also there was smell in bathroom. Hotel staff did correct the hot water problem but the smell possibly coming from water drainage system remained.

A very cheap but overpriced noisy hotel with rooms of very below average quality. Hot water did not function, so cold showers were necessary. Grotty bathroom, furniture which looked like beavers had been gnawing on it. Dreadfully lumpy and uncomfortable mattresses. Very noisy with no sound insulation. We were kept awake until midnight with large groups of people having very loud conversations, laughing etc. I’m not against people socialising and having a good time: but not outside my hotel room door! Management quite unresponsive. We were booked for two nights, but stayed only one (forfeiting prepaid cost of second night).

The hotel seems to be a good one. The staff, Zahid was really helpful and cooperative and since it was my first time experience in such a nice hotel and reasonable one. We needed any help he was the first person to be there and assist wherever needed.

Service was very good. Especially Zahid who was looking after restaurant section was very helpful and understanding. Breakfast menu was very nice. They were fullfiling all our requirements. The property is comparatively old but ambiance and cleanliness was good.

The Clarks Inn Hampi is situated right opposite to the ASI museum. The rooms are clean, maintained and appropriately sized. The property has a well maintained swimming pool too. The inhouse restaurant has limited menu options and the taste was ok. The same is applicable to the breakfast buffet menu also. Hotel management should definitely work towards improving the food options and quality. Special mention to friendly staff and the excellent service they offered which made our stay a pleasant one!!
