There are so many complaints on check-in. But no improvement at all. Spare at least 20 minutes for this poor check-in system.

"I did not receive the confirmation email sent by the hotel in advance, which led to a mismatch between the check-in procedure and the instructions posted next to the machine upon arrival. After struggling for a while, I had to call to successfully complete the check-in. The person responsible for designing the check-in process should reflect on this. The sofa was rather dirty."

The hotel does not have any registration staff. It is a self-service method, but the check-in method requires a reservation number, but I did not receive any message. I also left a message on the official website before departure, but did not receive any reply. I didn't care much about it when I arrived at the hotel and got it in front of the self-service machine the night I arrived. I couldn't check into the room after 20 minutes. I finally asked a local Japanese to help me call the hotel to get the room key. Fortunately, I was able to check in in the end

Brilliant location and the room was ok in the main. Check in was very difficult, the room was very hot and worst of all, the mattress was really uncomfortable. We could feel almost all the springs. Not happy

Everything about this hotel was cute and the location is amazing. Downside was the check in process. I thought their google drive instructions were clear but when actually confirming all your guests on the screen, it doesn’t let us confirm but just go automatically to calling. I almost thought I did something wrong, but I guess it just prompts the next screen and they want you to verbally confirm you got the key.
The calling part threw my friends off who were also checking in and caused some delays.
Other than that, great location to everything in Kamakura.

It was disappointing that there was a lot of black mold on the bathtub curtain, the amenities were not great, and the hair dryer had too little airflow, which was a pain.

I chose this hotel for its convenient location and stylish interior.
When I opened the duvet on my bed, I was horrified to find a used Band-Aid inside.
I somehow pulled myself together, took a shower, and since it was hot, I turned on the air conditioner, but then I started sneezing non-stop for about five minutes. This doesn't usually happen...
Looking around the room, it was dirty and I got the feeling that the room had not been properly cleaned or the bedding changed, so it was a disappointing stay.
