the service was ok, the receptionists could be more friendly. the room is super clean and I love the furniture, very nice rustic style, the bad thing is a bit far and the combination of transport is not very good if it is to travel by train

It was the worst service I've ever encountered. The front desk staff was extremely unpleasant and unhelpful. We arrived late in the evening and was immediately met with an unhelpful and nasty receptionist who told us that they had double booked the rooms and refused to take the blame for the double booking and refused to help us get other rooms to make up for it. We had tired children who had to wait up for several HOURS because he didn't help us get some other rooms and we only got enough rooms for us all after arguing with him for a long time! It was absolutely horrendous. The rooms were sparse and definitely not worth the money but the food and the spa was pretty good.

Dear Owner/Hotel Manager We have stayed at your hotel january 27-29. We stayed multiple times before. We did not expect much however this time we are very dissapointed. We have received a dirty room the toilet was full of dead bees, not a pretty picture for our children. The walls were disgustingly dirty especially in the bedroom and one does not know what it is. It makes a person wonder how clean the bed and bedding sheets are. Our bedroom light was not working. We have paid 570€ for the room with breakfast for two nights. The breakfast was ok and just Ok. However i ordered 2 lattes they were not warm at all and it was almost just milk. I did not want to complain at first and then took the pre- made filter coffee. I have never in my life tasted a more disgusting coffee. It tasted like tea and looked like tea. I then complained about it and was just told that it is the way the machine makes it. I was not even offered a new one or questionwd what is wrong. Just told the machine makes it that way so i had to accept it. No Thank You. If you want to give yourself a 4 star rating and price your rooms >200€ Per night then you better provide the right service and what people pay for. To conclude at a 4 star hotel with a Michelin star chef you expect a bit more especially when paying 570 euros for two nights. If the price was significantly cheaper I would not complain but I have not received the services I bought or was expecting to have as advertised on your website. I have stayed at similar hotels 4-5 stars in Hamburg and paid about same price but received Ritz Carlton service and the kitchen and breakfast is not comparable. So you can’t call yourself something your are not and advertise something you cannot meet. Perhaps read your reviews I am not the only one that shares this opinion. Your hotel is nothing but a 3 star hotel that is way overpriced. I just feel betrayed for my money and what i paid for. Generally we could feel that the staff has finally become a little nicer and guest feel welcome, the young boy at the reception who we have never seen before was extremely nice and very helpful.

Almost there! Very Nice hotel in Kaltenkirchen. Good food in the restaurant, cold plates for warm food, when will restaurants learn. Excellent very large beds. Coffee needs a lot of work, tasted more like coffee flavored water. Service was acceptable. Free parking. Spa with hot spring water.

We stayed for one night due to the convenient location for visiting relatives. We rented two rooms which were both very spacious albeit the decor was dated. We treated our elderly parents to the deluxe room which was more spacious than the standard but had a shower over the bath which can be difficult for the elderly. While our room had a shower, the room was warmer and smaller. Beds were large and very comfortable. However, as we arrived on the hottest day of the year, not having air conditioning was an issue. The remedy was leaving windows open and the hotel created a draft by leaving doors propped open also. This meant suffering mosquito bites during the night. Because we came up empty finding local breakfast places online for sit-down breakfast, we ate at the hotel. On offer were breakfast items standard in good German hotels, with a lot of healthy options. At almost 20Euro/per person it was more expensive than we budgeted, but it was enjoyable to sit in the on-site restaurant as long as we liked. Disappointing were pool and parking. Pool: Contrary to what I thought was advertised, the hotel does not have a pool. However, it is connected to a resort style pool with entrance fees from 6.50Euro/person depending on which of the facilities one wants to use. Access via the walkway is from the hotel's first floor in a dressing gown which is not provided and needs to be asked for (rented?) from reception. We were short on time, so we did not use the pool. Parking: There is a large pebbled area in front of the hotel. It has no marked spaces which resulted in some drivers using a lot of room resulting in the area being full by 9:00 pm. We ultimately decided to park across the main road in a public parking area which was free. Information: Reception was rarely occupied which made it difficult to ask anything, e.g. parking. The only information in the room concerned booking events, but nothing helpful on the hotel or the area for people already staying. There would have been no language barrier, yet there was nobody available to speak to during what I would consider normal hotel hours. There was a person in reception during breakfast and we checked out without problems.

I booken this hotel vis their own website however, as I needed an earlier check-in I rang their booking office to confirm that this would be possible before I gave my credit card details. The woman I spoke to, told me that their were no rooms available. I explained that I was on their website and had come so far as to provide my cc details. She told me that this must be my m7stake, as she does not make mistakes and does bookings all day and she was not able to help ir provide sny information as I did not have a booking number. I then went ahead and made the booking and called back and asked if I could have an earlier check in. I was told that she would check and call me back. Perfect. 3 hours later, no call and we arrived at the hotel. We were told that we could check in at 12. So we returnera at 12.30. Was told the room was not ready. Then itvwas ready. The woman at check in was the most unhelpfuö, rude hospitality staff I have ever come accross. I was told that the room would cost an extra 80 euro, that if I did not like that I could call the manager, but he is on holidays, so goid luck. Stockings! We decided to cancel our reservation, not bc of the extra cost, but because of the terrible customer service, how we were treated and spoken to. After driving all night from Southern Europe, we are exhausted, dissapointed and annoyed for the waisted time. Worst customer service EVER

We stayed for 3 nights while visiting cousins nearby. The hotel staff was super nice and helpful to us. I spoke zero German, but they were able to solve all my problems with a cheery smile. The rooms were super clean. At night, there was no noise and it was easy to sleep. Our morning wake up call was all the birdsong. We will be back soon!

So long, Dreiklang.
