Gradonna Mountain Resort Chalets & Hotel

Exceptional mountainous location with stunning views, spacious and beautiful rooms, friendly and attentive staff, exceptional cleanliness, and top-notch facilities including a wellness area and on-site ski shop.

We were a group of 26 with multiple families and kids ranging from 4-14. The place is very modern with most staff able to speak English. Reception was very helpful. The food here is very good. Breakfast had lots of options and choices. They had tea time which has a few cakes and snacks. The dinner here is amazing with lots of options and the menu suiting all dietary requirements. We had someone with us who has allergies and the waiters catered for her every meal. They accommodated us seating all together. The bar is quite expensive, they did have a free mocktail making class which happened twice a week, for kids 12+ (they did allow younger kids). They had a ski shop onsite which was easy to use and rent equipment and took about 45 minutes for a family of 4 to gather all their equipment. The people there were very helpful. They had a kids club for younger kids, we didn’t use it. The ski school they have only accommodates kids under 13 and beginners. The meals the kids got at lunch on the slopes were of limited choice giving vegetarians only chips. Kids who were older were allowed to order their own food. The pools and spa were nice and they had complimentary hazelnuts and drinks / herbal tea A few issues: - If you had friends in a room above level 4 and you booked a room under level 4, we weren’t able to visit them without going in their lift. (They had one lift that goes from -1 to 4 and the other lift going from -1 to 11 which only people who booked above level 4 could use) - Their wasn’t much entertainment for older kids except one football table which costs a euro each game. - The outdoor pool could have been warmer and it took multiple complaints to have someone check the temperature and not change anything The room was very nice and had a view of the mountains. The cleaners were very good too.
