Another absolutely brilliant stay at the Elysium. Everything was perfect and made so special by Ioannis at reception and also the wonderful Maria. Marilena and Manolis ensured eating was brilliant every day as always . We are always made so welcome and we especially loved our beautiful romantic room 1432 ! Housekeeping were super and always left us beautiful little treats in our room . Thankyou so much, see you next year again 💙

Me and my partner just got back from our trip here and both of us weren’t really impressed, would give 2.5 if we could. Firstly, this hotel needs to be advertised as a hotel for families. The reason we booked here was because through Tui and on the hotel website there was very little mention of just how family and children based this hotel would be. Granted, we did go in half term, however I am a teacher and this is really the only time we can go away, we’ve never had this issue with hotels in the past. Our stay was mostly nice, however, the sheer number of families and children running around you during meal times and throughout the day made it an uncomfortable stay. The behaviour of the children is not the hotel’s responsibility, however, a rule should really be implemented so there is no playing or running around the restaurant area at dinner. There is an adult only section, however, many families were sat there as that had space and when it was quiet children were allowed to run through it and play in the area. This area was also closed for the last 3 days of our stay. What’s the point of having an adult area if you aren’t going to enforce it? There are only 2 bars in the whole hotel which wouldn’t be a problem, however, there are so many people staying and so few staff that there were always queues. The lounge bar didn’t allow takeaway so you are forced to walk all the way down to the beach bar for takeaway drinks and this bar closed at 6pm so if you want to takeaway a cocktail after dinner to enjoy in your room, you weren’t allowed. It gives off the impression that you are all inclusive but they didn’t really want you using the facilities as it costs them too much. There wasn’t enough seating in the lounge bar after dinner and as there wasn’t any other form of entertainment for people other than families or children you are forced into the lounge where you may be sat miles away from the bar to get a drink and even then you had to wait for someone to come and bring you a drink. As all the restaurants got booked immediately we had to eat in the buffet every night which was absolutely rammed with queues and children running around your legs. The food was ok but extremely oily, the pizza from the pizza oven was lovely. The staff were always amazing and so helpful. The facilities are stunning and the pool is lovely and quiet during the day. The room was very clean and spacious. Overall not great but had some nice bits.

I stayed here for a week in October with my partner as a last little sunny getaway before our baby is born. Fantastic hotel, brilliant staff, lovely location and gorgeous weather. Just a few niggles first - Mainly the food signage in the restaurant. May be an issue if you have allergies or fussy like us. We generally eat most things, except my partner doesn't eat pork or cheese and myself fish. There was signs at the entrance stating what each pictured image meant in regards to allergens, however these images then were not anywhere else or by the food. The foods weren't labelled half the time and when they were, not always accurate. And when you ask the staff what things are they are a little dismissive. Also we were in a room with a lift opposite (pointless lift as the floor above was also on a ground floor like ours, due to the hill) and due to the winds at night I was woken up in the night multiple times due to the banging of the doors. We did call reception at midnight in hoping they could help and they just put a napkin in the door, which did the trick, so we just kept replacing this throughout the week. Also, you need €10 cash deposit per pool towel you would like! We don't tend to carry cash this day in age and think this is a very out-dated concept... especially when there's no ATM nearby (there was one in sister hotel 5 minutes up the big hill, but this was out-of-order most of the week). Oh, and 2 of the A La Carte restaurants are set menus, so a little tricky if you don't like cheese or fish. Shame there's not just even 2 items per course to chose from (could've done through normal and veg menu, but they didn't like doing that at all)! Otherwise... No more niggles! Just thought I'd mention these, especially the food one as this is quite a big deal and needs to be looked at before someone has an allergic reaction. OTHERWISE... and the reason I put 5*s... Is because the pool was relaxing with a strict no reserving sun-beds rule people abided to, and the poolside snack bar was wonderful! Fresh Greek Gyros' every day and other bits.. and the freshly made Crepes here at 4pm everyday!! Constantina at the bar by the pool was lovely and did not stop working and going above and beyond for everyone... including making my partner millions of Strawberry Mojitos! The main bar of the evening was a pleasure thanks to the best bar man (that I am SO ashamed I cannot remember his name!!!) He made sure to come up with new and lovely Mocktails for me every evening going above and beyond with us every night and was actually quite emotional saying goodbye! There was 3 pool tables (and other games) here and we loved these! Shame you had to pay for them, but we loved having a few games every evening! The bus stop to go into Rhodes Old Town was just a 5 minute walk up the hill on the main road. Very big comfortable buses, however not often enough for the demand. Most buses didn't stop due to being too full and they were only every half hour, meaning

This is probably the most amazing hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Everything from the service, to the location and the views was too tier. The breakfast buffet was ridiculous and the pool is something out of a travel magazine. Highly recommend this place. Will most definitely be coming back

Now home after a wonderful 10 nights in Rhodes, Greece, it was our daughters first ever time flying and the wonderful cabin crew at TUI, arranged for her to meet the captain and she got to go in the cockpit too, which was a lovely start to the holiday. It was also mine and my daughter's first time in Rhodes and Greece altogether and certainly won’t be our last in fact we are already planning to go back for the October half term in 2025. We had the pleasure of staying at the Amada Colossos Resort, and the whole complex is beautifully done, lovely and spacious, very nice decor and the staff are so welcoming, lovely and caring and they were sensational with our little girl, they always made her feel so special and she formed little bonds with them all, and seeing her face light up every time they gave her a bit of time was priceless. The place really is a paradise located within the south of the Aegean Sea, which was still lovely and warm and I very much enjoyed a good mile to 1.5 mile swim everyday within the crystal clear waters and plenty of sea life to be seen whilst swimming, and as a result I’ve probably come back fitter then I was when I went out, the hotels beach has also been awarded the prestigious blue flag beach for 33 consecutive years and you can see why! The place is perfect for families the food is very nice and a great variety and selection everyday, we didn’t get chance to eat in the many à la carte restaurant’s on offer so will give them a go next time. The evening entertainment was sensational and they have a superb entertainment programme throughout the day too. As well as having a huge 140m pool and a wonderful stretch of beach, they also had an onsite water park, kids play area, amphitheater, tennis courts and lots of other facilities including a Gym, luxurious spa, shops, bars, coffee house and so much more! TBH we didn’t get chance to utilise most of the facilities but will certainly make the most of it when we return again in the very near future in fact already looking for next year’s October half term break! Our little lady also wanted to go to the Amadino kids club within the Amada Colossos Resort, half way through our break and she absolutely loved it, the instant bond she made with Maria, Anastasia and Debbie was so heartwarming and it was probably her personal highlight of the holiday. She was insistent on going back everyday for a few hours were they made lots of crafts, built puzzles did lots of drawing, had their face painted, played games and were able to be kids and have endless amounts of fun too. Our little lady really embraced them and she’s not one to give out hugs and show affection lightly but seeing her with them and seeing her face light up and lots of hugs all round made us realise how much they meant to her and she made a couple of friends too and will now be pen pals with the team at the kids club and can write to each other and keep in touch until they’re all reunited once again, the ladies
