She was ace! (Can’t state her name, but sounded like Alga) sorry ;-( She will remember me as she passed on an extra pot of complimentary nuts ;-) Kids and family loved it (we were a group of 15) Overall, brilliant!

Exceptional hotel. Location is great, on the beach, central Faliraki, lots of tavernas and plenty choice of restaurants, shops. Close to Rhodes Old Town which is stunning. Good bus links/ lots of cars available for rent. Plenty of sunbeds, free to use, can easily access both beach and pool from sunbeds. Staff is great and very polite and helpful. Food is good, plenty of choice. Rooms are ok, ours had sea view. Guests usually polite, no drunken people etc Late check out not really available as very busy during peak time but they offered us a free dinner as an apology which I found extremely nice on their behalf. We came from Edinburgh via Jet2 holidays. Cannot fault the hotel, all was really good. If were to come back to Rhodes, would stay here again.

I'm staying in this hotel as I write this review and i genuinely can't believe its the same hotel the other reviews are talking about. Simply the worst hotel I've ever stayed in! We had a late arrival due to our flight times, no food or drink was available for us but they'd left some sandwiches in the fridge in the room, I was shocked when I opened the fridge, some cheese and ham thrown in a roll that certainly didn't fit with a 4* hotel and the price we'd payed. So, 01:30 am after a long trip we try to sleep. The air con and fridge are so load it's ridiculous, so I turned them off and then all you can hear is the Cicadas outside in the trees, deafening and constant 24 hours a day. Why, why, why isn't it published that at this time of the year in Greece you won't have 1 minute of peace in your entire holiday. Avoid Greece in the summer if you want to relax, it's impossible. The food is your usual all inclusive mass produced crap, I've spent all of today in my room after having no sleep and spending the whole night on and off the toilet with diarrhea. The pools and the gym are good and it's on the beach front with beautiful warm clear sea, some positives. But it's general location is poor, we should have done more research on this as there's nothing nearby, no town with restaurants, cafés or shops, just run down streets full of tat. Can't wait to get home, wish I'd never come here.

Hotel is in a brilliant location and is spotless clean. Reception staff are kind and very helpful as are the staff in the restaurant. The snack bar is amazing those staff never stop working and are always kind and patient food brilliant. Now sadly for the not good..bar staff rude and dismissive although that only relates to the females who work there when not on their mobile phones! The cleaners do clean but our rooms were directly opposite their office the smell of cigarettes from their office went right through our rooms. They never spoke totally disrespectful. Food a hit or a miss not great. Entertainment don’t bother mini disco 15mins max never seen the staff..1 lady black haired girl she. did the aqua arobecics herself she was great the days she did. Night entertainment was every second night not great. The Greek night was really good food and entertainment couldn’t fault. We had a late check out which was great. The area as a whole is lovely we enjoyed our stay but would stay somewhere else that had a jet 2 rep

An overall really nice stay at The Apollo Blue. While for a few days we were the only Brits in the resort the staff especially in the restaurant made us feel so welcome a big thank you to Vasso her sister Irini and the wonderful Nertila with the lovely smile. My mobility was limited and Vasso looked after us so well. The Greek Taverna run by the wonderful Stavros is a must to eat we had a lovely Greek night accompanied by Traditional Greek music. The Hotel has its own beach but please be aware that you have to pay for the sunbeds unless you are all inclusive. If you are a reader take your own books as although there is a book swap all the titles are in German. Overall the hotel is very clean the only issue we had was with the shower cubicle and jacuzzi bath in our room which both needed a deep clean. The room was spacious with a good size wardrobe and drawers a small fridge which did need replacing good balcony too. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and what made it for us was the staff so on that basis we would go back again though maybe later in the year when there would be fewer children.
