Stayed July 2024. Rooms are dated and in bad state of repair. Furniture needs replaced. Bathroom looked like it had been tiled in the dark and also had a shower curtain (unhygienic). Drink was awful and in paper cups with long queues at the bar. Think the cheapest soft drinks ever. Food was lacking and often ran out. Big queues and absolute chaos in the “restaurant”. No kids desserts not even ice cream. Ice cream is served for an hour or two a day. (There is a snack shack for slush candy floss etc but this is payable) Not enough seats in the restaurant either. Some of the restaurant staff work very hard and are a credit to the team. Entertainment was horrendous and headed up by a sleeze. Not enough chairs to watch so people were lying on the sunbeds and umberellas around the pool broken, the grassed area got very boggy. There is a small games room which is like a sauna, no air con in there. I was 7 months pregnant but we couldn’t keep our room on, they offered a courtesy room but this was badly managed and they had no control of it meaning we only managed to get in 20 minutes before our transfer. The room was filthy and dirty towels everywhere (was basically a room previous guests had checked out of). I made contact with enzo the manager during our stay and explained our issues He basically said he knew the hotel needed renovated and blamed Thomas cook going bust (5 year ago ). Once he realised he couldn’t/woudlnt rectify any issues he stopped replying. Another point to note is there is a height/age restriction for the slides so if you have small kids look into this. Toilet seats missing in communal areas. Seats ripped in the dining area (where air con dropped on our heads)

If you are looking for a fun week away in the sun then this is your place. We are leaving today but have had a fantastic week! The entertainment round the pool has been second to none! Finally a hotel where they don’t mind balls and floats in the pool. The food at the snack bars and restaurant was pretty good no complaints, just your standard all inclusive food. The rooms were pretty basic however we only used the room to sleep so it didn’t matter at all to us! A free shuttle bus to the beach and back every day was included. One night we went out clubbing and the choice of bars and clubs was pretty good and only 10-15 min walk away. Overall this hotel was perfect for us! We will be back! ☀️

Just arrived home from 7 nights at Cyprotel. Family of 4 with 5&8yr olds. We had a good time and the children loved it but I feel it’s definitely a 3 star not 4, if you are looking for a fun low priced hotel great, but don’t expect luxury. The main pool is where all the action is, aqua fitness brilliant. There’s a bar there that opens 10am. The other pool is always very quiet, it’s deep and I think it puts people with children off. The water park is good, children have to be 6 or over to go on the slides and this is monitored by wrist bands. The water seems to have turned our costumes yellow, not sure if it’s the chemicals. The pools are all cleaned first thing in the morning. We had a family room overlooking the water park, air con works brilliantly but the room was very dated, the bathroom flooded when you used too much shower gel, the towels weren’t replaced each day so we had to go and get some from reception on several occasions. A kettle is provided and 4 x small bottles of water, but it isn’t replenished and there’s nothing to make tea/coffee etc with, no cups if you want I’d take your own cups and coffee etc. I wish we knew this before hand. There is a hair dryer, not powerful but works! Luckily you just sleep in the room so none of this bothered us too much. Myself and husband took it in turns to get up at 6am for sunbeds, after a couple of days and still not getting a good spot by the main pool, we got up at 5 and finally got some decent ones. This didn’t bother us but can see how it can. There are always sun beds in with the water slides. I booked Cyprotel Faliraki as read good reviews about gluten free food - important for us as myself and 2 children all have coeliac disease. We had to book our food the day before from a special menu. They didn’t disappoint - fresh pizza/chips/pasta dishes everyday, sadly no desserts though but ice-cream gluten free which children ate plenty of from snack bar. None of the food in the restaurant is labelled, I haven’t been anywhere that hasn’t labelled before, usually the hotel would list the allergens or even the name of the dish but there is nothing, this is frustrating and something that could easily be rectified. My husband had what he thought was chicken one day and it was pork, luckily not a problem for him but could have been for someone else. He ate well from the snack bar & restaurant, mainly some kind of chicken/chips/pizza/donor meat combination. Cocktails and beer is good - although I wish i’d taken our own cups. Great views from rooftop bar & restaurant. The entertainment team is what makes this hotel great - Maddie, Anastasia & Boogie are absolutely lovely, as well as the whole team. On our last night we watched the Michael Jackson show which was awesome. We couldn’t get late checkout and as our transfer was at 7:50pm this was annoying. We were told the hotel was fully booked and it just wasn’t possible. This was the same for all the people we spoke to leaving. The hotel did let u

We stayed as a family of 6 with children aged 1 and 3. The hotel is a great location around 5 minutes drive outside of Faliraki. There’s a land train that stops at the hotel that can take you into Faliraki or parking spaces for car hire. A few restaurants, bars and a shop are within short walking distance. Faliraki beach is great. Also found a lovely bar at Anthony Quinn bay. The rooms are dated but spacious and clean. Fridge and safe came in handy and pool towels can be requested from reception. We found this to be a fun hotel with great options for pools, slides and entertainment throughout the day and evening. The kids loved the face painting and mini disco each night, and the bubble party on one of the days. Never had an issue getting sun beds although if you wanted the best spots you need to be down early. We’d often go to the waterpark pool in the afternoon and always able to get beds here. All inclusive does let the hotel down slightly in terms of choices available. Non branded soft drinks and limited hot drinks options. Cocktails were ok and we liked that beer was at a separate bar to keep queues down. All drinks at meals are self serve. Although the food in the main restaurant all tasted great there were a small amount of options available and desserts were very limited. Queue for pizza seemed unnecessary and I’m sure this could be better managed. Snack bar by the pools is very popular and can often run low on stock. The benefit of being close to town is that if you get bored of the food you have other options close by. Overall we enjoyed our stay and love the island of Rhodes and its rustic charm. If you have kids they will definitely have fun at this hotel.

Came here in June 2024 for 10 days. Both couple in our 20’s. I don’t usually write reviews but I felt this needed one as there’s some areas for improvement and things I think you need to consider before booking here. These are things easily fixed and improved by the hotel and I think if they corrected these it would be an amazing place for a holiday. We arrived late at night- the hotel complex is massive. We were shown a map to the room and sent on our way. We got totally lost round the complex. Took us half an hour of walking up and down hills/ stairs with heavy bags to find our room. No help. The hotel is situated at the top of a hill and a lot of the rooms are up steep Hills. I saw a lot of buggy’s parked around the place. The hotel should really hire someone to drive bags to rooms. Room- The room was ok- has everything you need. Could make some simple changes to upgrade it. Such as the chairs. Unfortunately for us. We had probably around 20-30 ants come in daily. We also had no WiFi at all in the room. We couldn’t even use data. I understand being up hill but the hotel should invest in boosters around the complex. This was very frustrating for us. It seemed only to work by reception. Food- Food wasn’t great for us. Maybe it’s being British but there just wasn’t anything for us except Pizza and chips. Huge queue for pizza every night. Lunch was awful and really needs improving. Bland and chewy meat. We tried to go for meals but ended up eating out every day except for pizza in evenings. Drinks- soft drinks - if you arrived early at meals you’ll get fizzy. Unfortunately after it’s flat and tasteless. Sometimes even just soda water… Wish there was fresh orange juice too. Was cheap sweet stuff. Cocktails were nice but major wasp problem at the hotel!! Constant wasps flying around the sunbeds and self selve drink machines :( The bar was about 20 round the bottles of drinks.. Hotel need to fix this issue. Sunbeds- not enough sunbeds with umbrellas. We came out at 8am thinking it’s early and all the beds with umbrellas are gone. This is a massive hotel with loads of guests. They need to invest in more. Pools- pools are great. Really good main pool and the water park was great! Amazing for kids. Entertainment - always people around encouraging you to get involved. Great for kids and good evening entertainment. Location- great location. Up a hill and then the hotel is very up/down steps/ hills. It was fine for us- good workout but in the heat was a lot. We hired a car at a place at the bottom of the hill. Amazing. We went out every day to places on our list. I really recommend doing this. Taxis are expensive and you can’t walk around. Buses are inconvenient in the heat due to waiting and the walk time and you cannot get to some of the nicer locations on them without a long walk. The hotel has a hire car service too. There is parking on the complex. very handy to have this. There’s a lovely bar at the bottom of the hill showing f

The hotel had decent Wi-Fi didn’t work in places but from the facilities we didn’t really need it , there was a kids club and in the evening and there was a mini disco for your children. The entertainment was brilliant and there were different shows each night , there was one member of staff ( Boogie ) he was kind and interactive . The food was good , there was a good selection/ choice each night there was a different theme of food . In the day there was a snack bar with a good variety, there was ice cream but no ice lolly’s. The room was really clean and had been cleaned each day . There were bottles of water for the first few days but no restock . There was a shop near the diner with very good prices as a small bottle of water was 50¢ and a big bottle was €1.

This wasn't my first time in the hotel and this time i decided to take my partner with me so that we could spend an amazing vacation together. We stayed a total of 5 days (not enough to see the entire evening animations, we really wished we could have seen the acrobat's show!), and it only went crescendo. First, we arrived with a temperature that was exceeding the 30°C wich made the pools extremely enjoyable. There are three in total : one where the animation happens and where the pool bar is located (I recommend the Cyprotel Special, ours were made with care by the amazing Dafni). The silent pool where the snack bar is located, we also spent quite some time there as well, always found a free sunbed. Lastly the pool with the waterslides, i went there during one if my previous stays, but quite frankly, not this time. The rooms were always very clean, the air-conditioning made it easier through the heat and there was plenty of space (i never needed much of that to be fair!). There were many different dishes at every meal, all very tasty ! I had come with the idea that i would keep eating healthy but i obviously did not do that. There was fish/sea food, beef, chicken, vegetarian meal as well and in the evenings, we are still getting something extra special from the grill - cooked live. Almost forgot about the shots offered by the friendly young hosts. We went here and there as well... We rented a car and went to see the butterfly Valley (it was so beautiful, we could also see the damages caused by the fire from last year thought), we were also recommended a nice place to get a massage directly from the reception by the amazing Phaidra who was also always there (girl, do you live behind your counter?) and of course, the nicest young Man, that i am always eager to see : Enzo. Without him it just wouldn't be the same ! Shout-out to Dragos and the animation team who were dancing in full body costumes under that scorching sun ! Thank you once again !
