Tivoli Hotel

Cockroach, ants, dirty, rusty frigde and old. A collection of smoked cigarettes under the table, dust. Spider webs under the bed. Everything is dirty. The hotel is near a highway, no chance to walk somewhere without car, noisy arround. Isolated area, i attached pictures about this wonderful nightmare .. Pipe bad smelling,

Things you want to know before booking -The drains don't drain, the bathroom smells of mold. -Dust, hair and spiders everywhere. -The air conditioning costs extra and turns off when you leave the room, the fridge also turns off when you leave the room. -1 roll of toilet paper and the world's smallest bar of soap are provided (photo) -The TV cannot find channels, the wifi does not work in the room. -No hooks for towels, except 1, behind bathroom door - door doesn't open all the way. -The refrigerator is gross and smells (photo) -I don't even want to talk about "breakfast", absolutely horrible. -The dishes are dirty -The hotel's own kitchen serves heated frozen food. -Room curtain nailed to the wall, won't stay open (photo) -The terrace is missing a railing and what a view! (picture) The cars in the picture didn't move for a week. -I can't find any information about the car rental company and visa is suddenly not valid for payment. -Pool cloudy, we didn't see cleaning once. -The cleaner smokes while cleaning, shakes ashes into the hallway (photo) -Be careful when you buy something at the bar counter, the price can be anything "by accident"! -You can't safely walk a meter from the hotel. Located on a busy road. You can still live with these things, but the worst is the rude staff and the really bad atmosphere, the customers feel like a burden and especially the owner is so full of himself that he doesn't even see that everything is wrong in this place! Perhaps it says something about the staff/atmosphere that guests only come to spend time in the public areas at night after the hotel closes. The only positive things were the cats and the nice woman on the evening shift: you're too good for this place! Never again!

Awful we arrived to our keys left outside a one person room allocated to me and my son NO AVAILABLE AIR CON extremely hot dirty and smells Iv been here 3 hours can’t get any help I’m still here now avoid at all costs my son has had to go sleep elsewhere love holidays won’t help even tho they put us here instead of where booked

Seriously AVOID! Absolutely disgusting....you have been warned! Rooms haven't been cleaned in donkeys years, including showers, toilets, floors, handles are falling off. Did replace shower head, given toilet roll WOW! Breakfast...where? Beats Faulty Towers by a million. Hotel Nightmare!

Truthfull honest review. Please read the response from the hotel to the previous review and you will get the idea. We arrived and the first thing I said to my friend was the pool looked green, we were then given the keys to our room on the 1st floor, (please be aware there are no lifts and we were not offered any help with carrying our cases upstairs) When we got to our room there was thick dust and hair behind the door thick limescale in the toliet and shower tray and no hook for the shower so you had to hold it and try to shower with one hand, my friend then went to use the toilet and the toilet seat came off in her hand when she lifted it up, which at this point we just laughed and realised that we had best make the best of a bad situation we went and bought bleach and cloths and cleaned it ourselves. And YES I went and reported the problems straight away to reception, (in case the manager wants to reply to my review saying I should have spoken to them instead of posting this) I was told please can you wait until the morning and the cleaner will come back and clean our room properly and maintenance will fix the shower and toilet. Our room was not cleaned until we had been there for 5 days and the shower was never fixed but the toilet was fixed. On the third day I told them they had not been back and cleaned our room as I was advised it would be, and only the bins has been emptied, and was told that yes that is correct no cleaning just bins emptied and cleaning done every 4 days. The first day, I asked about the colour of the pool, and asked if it was being cleaned. I was told by the lady on reception that is cleaned everyday and hoovered with a machine and checked regularly. I went to the pool everyday by 7am to see if this was done and never saw a hoover in the pool for the whole week we were there just the maintenance guy with a net and poring 2 cups of chlorine in and putting hose pipe in adding more water the filters were not working properly, the pool colour was enough to scare you and not to go in. I am sorry to say and believe me I don't like to post bad reviews but I think it is unfair for people to work hard for a holiday to be dissapointed like this. The staff and manager are extremely rude, except for the lady at the bar in the evening (she is the only positive thing about this hotel) The manager has a plaque on the reception desk with his name saying "is always right" which sums up his attitude. I heard him speaking one day saying, god knows what these guests expect michellin star when this is a 3 star hotel, no we just expect a clean polite hotel, when we have paid for this there is no excuse for not having good standards of cleanliness regardless of star rating. One morning the receptionist who might I add is extremely rude I can only assume she is a family member otherwise she would not have that job, She was having a huge argument with another member of staff and screaming at them she didnt care that there were guests at t

Horrible experience. The hotel itself was ok, on our second night the couple next door were playing music extremely loud and shouting abuse at us and our 1 year old daughter claiming she wasn't going to let us sleep as we had kept her up with a screaming child and arguing... Non of which is true at all, all fast asleep by 9pm for 10 hours. Asked to move rooms as our one year old had been threatened by a vile woman and I'm also heavily pregnant. Was told we couldn't move and just to ignore her? Spoke to management 3 times about the threats. Obviously I was not willing to put my daughters safety at risk so left immediately and booked another hotel. Very poor customer service and below average hotel. Avoid at all costs. Just cost us an extra 400 pounds to pay for a new hotel who couldn't have done enough for us.

Hotel was so comfortable and lady Bartender was soo helpful and kind, we love her! The only thing I would change on-site hotel complex is CLEAN and what do the bathrooms look like… the advantage was definitely the bus stop next to the hotel and comfortable beds!

I would advise strongly not to stay in this resort, it is is dreadful and in no circumstances would I advise having either the breakfast, lunch or dinner, the food is dreadful, a disgrace to even suggest that there is a buffet option, the breakfast was burnt and edible , no choice , dinner had a number of options which were all pre prepared, and reheated, DISGUSTING . No air conditioning in temperatures of high 30's. The pool is stagnant water, does not seem to have a filter or ever cleaned and we were badly attached by mosquitos . The place is full of cats which is totally- roaming around the breakfast area. Doors banging all night long, very little sleep. The manager/ owner was no way approachable, no personality, no people skills, shouted at the staff and would not listen to any of our complaints. His receptionist had similar personality, no people skills, and very unhelpful. Overall I would not recommend staying in this accomodation , it was a total nightmare ,
