Pool Facilities: The pool area is spacious and well-maintained, with a kids' pool and a bar serving drinks and food. Guests appreciate the clean environment and the variety of activities offered, such as aqua aerobics and yoga sessions.(based on 1 review)

Отель скорее 3* чем 4. Подустааший, не особо уютный. Из хорошего: большой бассейн, вид на море.
Завтрак базовый, номера чистые, но без изюминки.

Kresten Palace is an alright hotel though I’m not sure I’d pay the price again. There was nothing objectively wrong with our holiday but I would not give this hotel a 4* rating. The rooms are clean but areas of the hotel are quite run down with chipped walls and just generally rubbish furnishings/decoration. Some areas are also quite dated. There are 2 bars and one restaurant. The main restaurant is a buffet every day and at €20 pppn, the food is sub par. It’s a very small, poor selection of foods which aren’t great. You have breakfast in here which is again alright but the eggs are always overcooked and the bacon is not bacon (not sure what it was to be honest). The pool bar is the best spot - great drinks with great service and a brilliant lunch menu with quality food! The staff down here are so lovely. The cocktail bar however I cannot say the same. The staff aren’t as friendly and service is just ok. We had a very weird experience on our last night. Every time we ordered coke/pepsi the staff would call it cola so we also started calling it cola. On the last night we ordered cola as usual and the waiter bought us 2 corona’s. We explained the mix up and she took them back. The guy that took our order then bought the coronas back, insisted we were wrong and tried to intimidate us into buying them. He would not leave our table with the coronas and kept just saying “you said corona I’m sure”. I completely understand the mistake that has occurred but both the waiter and manager tried to pressure us into buying something we didn’t order and blamed us for not pointing at the menu (which we didn’t have). It was just very odd. We paid extra for the swim up room - personally I don’t think it’s worth the price. It’s very quiet, there’s better vibes at the pool where it isn’t stupidly busy! It’s also no private and people swim past your window constantly. I knew this when I paid but I disliked it more than I thought I would. All in all was an ok holiday - we had a great time and Rhodes is lovely I just don’t think this hotel is worth the price.

Awful hotel and experience! Absolutely to avoid this hotel! There is no private beach. The beach can be reached through a dangerous and slippery path and the water is far from being appealing like in most parts of the island. Food is horrible. Reception staff is unfriendly ( apart from the director). Animation staff is cheap and the shows are boring. Rooms are badly furnished ( definitely not a 4 stars hotel!). Only the lobby was nice and the restaurant staff (Nicki and Margareta) Forget this hotel!

Extremely Disappointing – Definitely Not a 4-Star Experience I stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, it was one of the most unpleasant vacation experiences I’ve had. Despite its 4-star rating, the reality was far from expectations: • Unfriendly and exhausted staff, especially the woman at reception – no sign of professionalism or courtesy. The only employees who showed any level of politeness were a few members of the Asian staff. • Poor and unsafe food quality: meals were bland and of low quality. My wife and child developed enterocolitis after eating at the pool bar, and we had to call a doctor. • Constant noise: there’s no peace and quiet. The air conditioning system, both inside the rooms and outside, generates a constant, loud hum 24/7, making it impossible to rest properly. • Missing basic amenities: the bathroom didn’t even have hand soap – let alone shampoo or shower gel. Completely unacceptable for a supposed 4-star hotel. • Unpleasant access to the beach – poorly designed and poorly maintained. • Technical issues: on the last night, we experienced three power outages. We were left without electricity or air conditioning in the middle of the night. Although staff responded quickly, the issue was never fully resolved. • Dull evenings: no real entertainment, no atmosphere – just boring and lifeless. • Wi-Fi is not free – charged at €8 per device, which is simply outrageous in 2025. In conclusion, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful, safe, or even remotely decent vacation. The price-to-quality ratio is terrible, and the overall lack of care for guests is obvious.

We had an excellent stay at the Kresten Palace. The staff were so friendly, the room we had was a deluxe swim up pool room and this was clean, comfortable and very quiet. We went bed and breakfast and there was a huge choice of different items each morning. Food was sometime luke warm but overall very tasty. Pool facilities are brilliant and the kiosk which served the food was outstanding. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

We’ve just got back from a week here and sadly we are glad to be home. We had a swim up room which was lovely however the pool was freezing all day every day. We had lots of ants in our room which meant we couldn’t leave food in our room. The cocktail bar was lovely- staff all friendly however you do have to ask them to come over to serve you- they don’t take much initiative. Meal times were chaos- breakfast no matter what time you went was awful! We never had a drink with breakfast as they always ran out of cups and didn’t restock them! Evening meal was very simple- we spent most nights hungry and going to the shop on site for snacks. The themed nights were okay. Meat was always undercooked and obviously this is very off putting. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and our room and the time to relax but sadly will not return!

dissatisfied with our stay. we payed a lot of money as a young couple for a swim up room to treat ourselves. we arrived at night and for the-next day did not have a single speck of sun on our terrace. shame as wasted our first day as couldn’t sunbathe. asked to switch rooms and we were able to the next day. in the new room sun was on our terrace until about 1pm which still doesn’t give too much time to sunbathe. the sun beds on our terrace were filthy and covered in children’s crayon wax. the room itself was okay although both bedside lampshades broken, little bits around the room that needed replacing. breakfast at the hotel was very bad too, cold and covered in grease, didn’t bother with it most days. there was two wasps nests in the corridor leading to our room which we found disgusting and unacceptable. “private beach” nice to snorkle at but not to sit at, i think the sunbeds are even older than me lol, seems a shame. drinks are okay, some of the food at the pool is okay some is overpriced. most of the staff friendly accept from one women in the mini mart. mini mark overpriced. beware the taxis will take multiple different trips at once, you may be sat with strangers a lot. disappointed considering price. all of the sunbeds around the big pool are broken or broken and glued back together. lots of chips of wood from the broken sunbeds all over the floor which is definitely a hazzard. sunbeds will break when you sit on them from it have been broken before already. this is supposed to be a 4* im not so sure how. wifi and safe you need to pay for if not in a swim up deluxe. wifi runs out after a week and you cannot log back on. swim up room pools are freezing which takes away from the romantic feel you were hoping for. makes you not even want to go in the pool it is so cold.
