Avoid this hotel at all costs. What’s advertised as a 4-star resort is barely worthy of 2 stars. From the moment we arrived, things were already going downhill. Our bed sheets were stained yellow, the pillowcase was ripped, and the towels were covered in questionable stains and someone else’s hair. We asked for replacements and got no apology—just a grumpy staff member who swapped out one bed and ignored the other. The next day? More dirty towels, again with hair all over them. Hygiene was clearly not a priority. The room’s hairdryer cut out every minute, which was a nightmare for two girls trying to get ready. We reported it multiple times, but no one ever came to fix it. Maintenance is either non-existent or just as uninterested as the front desk staff. But the worst part? I got food poisoning from a beef burger at their so-called “à la carte” restaurant—which was literally the beach snack bar with shutters pulled down. They served the same bland, cold food, but on plastic plates and with plastic cups. A joke, really. I spent my last day of the holiday throwing up. Earlier in the week, I’d also found a dead fly in my pasta and again got no apology, no reaction—nothing. The buffet food was consistently cold, underwhelming, and low quality. Long queues, tough meat, and poor hygiene overall made me dread mealtimes and meant we would go out of the hotel and pay just to get some good food. Customer service was cold and often rude. Every time we raised concerns, we received no apology, only blunt responses. When checking out of the hotel, the receptionist asked how our stay was, to which we told them it was not great. The receptionist only shrugged her shoulders and did not wish to discuss this further. Throughout the whole week, we did not receive one apology. This hotel is an embarrassment to the 4-star label. If you care about cleanliness, edible food, or being treated like a human being, do yourself a favour and book elsewhere.
