We had a great time! Can’t fault the location, cleanliness and facilities at this recently renovated hotel . See view room was amazing! The food was average and drink quality the typical AI beer and spirits. Generally the staff were friendly and appreciated us thanking in Greek. The evening entertainment was a mix of professional acts and entertainment staff led activities. The Drifters trubute band were great! One word of warning avoid the a la carte restaurants. The burger bar food was stone cold and the Greek Restaurant not much better. Such a shame a both places could have been much better!

The best part of our stay: the beach and the sea view room (we had room 259). The grounds and beach are what make it a 4 star. Everything else is debatable. The room was very spacious and lovely. I would change the service from the male staff on reception they are miserable. Angelina is lovely and always smiling. Very helpful young lady. We had to ask for clean towels, toilet paper and they do not give you extra water bottles or replace coffee sachets in room. These services should be standard for a 4 star hotel. These food is ok. We ate mostly at the beach area. The staff at this bar are so hard and are very friendly. The food should be covered with lids as there are loads of flies on the food. Pick the burgers still covered by cling film! Greek staff are absolutely lovely. However some of the other guests especially elderly Spanish were not happy we were an ethnic minority so there was tension at meal times in main restaurant. So we just stuck to the beach bar. Overall it was a decent stay. Just a few things they can improve on. Also their local alcohol is Culo - so cocktails are strong. Stick to the amaretto and cola if you want a sweet drink!

Avoid this hotel at all costs. What’s advertised as a 4-star resort is barely worthy of 2 stars. From the moment we arrived, things were already going downhill. Our bed sheets were stained yellow, the pillowcase was ripped, and the towels were covered in questionable stains and someone else’s hair. We asked for replacements and got no apology—just a grumpy staff member who swapped out one bed and ignored the other. The next day? More dirty towels, again with hair all over them. Hygiene was clearly not a priority. The room’s hairdryer cut out every minute, which was a nightmare for two girls trying to get ready. We reported it multiple times, but no one ever came to fix it. Maintenance is either non-existent or just as uninterested as the front desk staff. But the worst part? I got food poisoning from a beef burger at their so-called “à la carte” restaurant—which was literally the beach snack bar with shutters pulled down. They served the same bland, cold food, but on plastic plates and with plastic cups. A joke, really. I spent my last day of the holiday throwing up. Earlier in the week, I’d also found a dead fly in my pasta and again got no apology, no reaction—nothing. The buffet food was consistently cold, underwhelming, and low quality. Long queues, tough meat, and poor hygiene overall made me dread mealtimes and meant we would go out of the hotel and pay just to get some good food. Customer service was cold and often rude. Every time we raised concerns, we received no apology, only blunt responses. When checking out of the hotel, the receptionist asked how our stay was, to which we told them it was not great. The receptionist only shrugged her shoulders and did not wish to discuss this further. Throughout the whole week, we did not receive one apology. This hotel is an embarrassment to the 4-star label. If you care about cleanliness, edible food, or being treated like a human being, do yourself a favour and book elsewhere.

I had a truly wonderful experience at this spa! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was incredibly calming and relaxing. The staff were warm, professional, and made me feel completely at ease throughout my visit. A special thank you to Despina, who performed my massage—she was absolutely amazing! Very professional, kind, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time.

I want to start by saying this is an honest review, and I’ve since seen others mention the same issues. I also became violently sick during the stay, which I now believe was food poisoning. Here’s a full breakdown of our experience: 🚪 Check-in and Room Issues On arrival, we were given a room key and sent on our way with no escort or support. When we opened the door, we found a couple already asleep inside the room – a serious security concern. Reception said it was a “system error” and moved us to a different room, opposite a noisy construction site. The new room was clearly unused for a while – no soap, dusty blankets, and an overall unclean feel. We were later upgraded to a sea-view room with a letter of apology, which was appreciated. When we raised concerns about the incident, the hotel told us we shouldn't worry about our own safety. We tried to explain our concern was for the guests we walked in on – a situation like that could have been dangerous, especially if children were involved. 🥗 Food and Allergy Concerns I have a dairy intolerance and emailed the hotel in advance – I received no reply. When we arrived late at night, only the salad bar was available, and most options appeared to contain dairy. Allergen information was poorly labelled or missing altogether. I complained the next day and this was addressed – signage improved and the kitchen kindly made me a dairy-free dessert later in the week. As pescatarians/vegetarians, we appreciated the variety, but many dishes were again poorly labelled – we accidentally ate meat a couple of times due to the lack of clear information. 🤢 Sickness and Poor Response I became violently sick during the trip – at the time I thought it was a stomach bug, but after reading other reviews I now believe it was food poisoning. When we needed a late check-out due to my illness, we were told it would cost €60 for just six extra hours – quite disappointing given the circumstances. My husband had told reception I was unwell, but this made no difference. 🧖 Facilities and Comfort The sauna was unpleasant – it felt more like a shed and smelled strongly of stale water. The indoor pool also had a stale, unclean smell. Overall, the wellness facilities were not inviting or relaxing. No air conditioning in the rooms despite indoor temperatures in our room reaching 25°C at night. We were told the AC isn’t switched on until June. We requested a fan twice – there were none available. We tried leaving the door open for airflow but ended up with mosquito bites and bugs. This resulted in poor sleep throughout our stay. 🍽 Dining Experience The restaurant setup felt more like a three-star than a four-star hotel. Tableware and cutlery could be better quality for dinner service. The drinks were disappointing – the cola tasted strange, and the iced tea had a strange chlorine-like flavour. Best to stick to bottled water – although even that took a full day to be replaced when we asked for more. ✅ Positives F
