Blue Sea Beach Resort

We had a great time! Can’t fault the location, cleanliness and facilities at this recently renovated hotel . See view room was amazing! The food was average and drink quality the typical AI beer and spirits. Generally the staff were friendly and appreciated us thanking in Greek. The evening entertainment was a mix of professional acts and entertainment staff led activities. The Drifters trubute band were great! One word of warning avoid the a la carte restaurants. The burger bar food was stone cold and the Greek Restaurant not much better. Such a shame a both places could have been much better!

My stay 26 may -31 may. Only one bad point , all swimming pools can only be used till 18.00 . Everything else better then expected, excellent service from staff on reception on welcome, to lovely food and super cook. Rooms cleaned every day and very good standard for 4 star. If I could , I would be back there next day. Pawel

The personnel is very friendly. The food is fine, especially the pizza is well done. The dining room could be quieter by adding noise protection. Overall the hotel is very clean and the location directly at the beach is great. The Spa is really nice and the treatments offered are varied.

Just came back yesterday after 8 days here. To start with 5 stars for cleanliness. Was very clean and rooms always replenished with towels/paper bags & toilet paper daily. Room was very spacious. Food for me was just not my taste personal choice felt but they had a variety of foods though but can be reparative. Beach bar food was lovely and the crepe station was so good. There can be quiet a line but does go quiet quick. Drinks can be quite strong some are overly too much and other times they were just about drinkable. If I was to come back would be room only not all inclusive. Beautiful views we had sea view room was only £20 more so we thought why not glad we did it was stunning! (Room 257) the resort itself great location and always clean even the outdoor toilets very clean. Bus stop right outside to take you into Rhodes town/faliraki ***** €2.50 each one way. Pools were great and the aquarobics they did daily were really good too. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They had no problem ordering us a taxi to where we wanted to go and helpful with bus times/stops. Angelica very lovely young girl always smiling and made us checking in at 10.00pm worth it after a long day of travel, always said hello to us if she saw us going out or coming in for the day. Always sunbeds available and pool very rarely busy busy. All in all lovely stay at a lovely resort

Great hotel, lots of facilities, staff are super friendly, huge choice of food the rooms are very clean and lots of different pools and beach space. Plus myself and my daughter had our hair done for a wedding by Maria at the Aegeo Spas. She did a brilliant job, we love it.

Loads of room for improvement 1. food was cold and tasted like it had been left out for hours, some food not even cooked properly, including meat still being raw, same selection of ‘picky bits’ everyday that you couldn’t even put a proper meal together with, including broccoli for breakfast?? there was no themed nights and everyday was the same, we had to find alternative places to eat so resulted in spending more money on top of what we paid for the all inclusive, 2 of the friends we came with ended up with bad stomachs and sickness, meaning they lost out on 2 days of the holiday and missed a boat trip to symi that they paid for, even the smell of the food from the all inclusive made us feel sick drinks weren’t much better, tasted like fizzy tap water and the alcoholic drinks were far too strong with next to no mixers in them, again had to go to the shop down the road to get bottles of juice and canned fizzy, I say the shop down the road as the shop within the hotel lacks verity 2. The shower over flowed when we were trying to get a wash so be ready to get a bath and flood your bathroom floor, the shower head falls off the wall, toilet is right on top of the shower so every time you need a wee you whack your elbows off the shower, I don’t even think you can class the shower as a proper shower tbh, as a woman it was extremely difficult to shave my legs with next to no room 3. Staff are extremely unwelcoming and rude, not helpful at all other than the reception staff that are only interested in taking your €70 tax, how they class this as a 4 star hotel at €10 a night tax on top of the £1500 we already paid for the 2 of us is ridiculous, we were also charged €60 for a late check out as check out is 12pm which was our choice to check out late as our transfer back to the airport wasn’t until 8:45pm so we wanted to freshen up before we left, we were told depending on how many hours extra you want the room for the price varies, we paid €60 for 6 hours resulting in us having to check out at 6pm, we booked this in May last year and all of the reviews were positive so it’s obviously gone down hill from there, there was no mention from any reception staff of how to get on any transport to either faliraki or Rhodes, we had to figure it all out ourselves 4. The pools are freezing cold so be prepared for your limbs to go numb 5. There’s 2 yes TWO outdoor toilets for both women and men so 4 in total for the pool, both are dirty and I didn’t see one person clean them, thankfully our room was on the ground floor so we could get back to our room to use the toilet conveniently 6. We enjoyed all of 1 out of 7 nights of entertainment as every night but the Friday the entertainment has been outdoors at the beach bar, far too cold and over crowded to sit outside 7. Also be prepared to be shoved and pushed out of the way by some of the other guests especially elderly Spanish and German as they were not happy we were an ethnic minority so there was tension at
