DO NOT GO HERE!!! IT HAS SHUT DOWN!! holiday companies are still advertising this property and it has been closed for 12 months and closed for another 12 months we arrived at 1.15am to what is now a building site luckily our driver found us a nearby hotel all through the week other guests were arriving who was meant to be staying at the Olympia we all got lucky as out of peak season you might not be as lucky to find another nearby hotel when it gets busy next week

Great little hotel about a 5 min walk from the sandy beach and 10 min walk to center of town. We stayed on the first week of opening. Was very quiet to start but picked up at the end of the week. The food was very limited but what was available was cooked well and tasted good. Maybe its because of the start of season there was limited choice. Check in was quick and easy with friendly staff. The bar is open from 12.30 for alcoholic drinks and closes at 10.30pm the barman Nicolas was great and always kept us with drinks. The waiting staff stephina was brilliant and couldn't do enough for us. The pool was nice but cold. Was cleaned every morning. Room was clean but shower wasn't great. Only 2 setting off or stupidly hot. You need to hold the shower head as no bracket. The bath had no plug so that wasn't an option. All in all a nice little hotel for the price

The first room we were given was fine tired but fine. My partner struggled with the step in bath so we asked if we could move on Monday morning and Maria and her team moved us to the newer block behind. No problem they couldn't have been more accommodating. The staff are lovely and helpful. Nothing too much trouble. The food is good but a little samey. Be great to have some souvlaki and some gyros and kleftikos on the menu. Restaurant staff were superb. Beach is close and transport links to faliraki and Rhodes Super easy. Little super market next door. Quiet. Mostly Europeans. Cons: Public areas not so clean. The air hockey and pool tables and bar toilets were grubby. Please please change the CDs. ! The music played in the /bar open areas is pitiful. I never want to hear that track list again. Nice greek music please Otherwise, nice people good value for this price.if your up for exploring and just need a base. Perfect Work to do but thank you Maria we had a lovely time x

We're on our last day here, and regardless of the negative feedback on trip advisor we found this hotel to be a little gem, it's a small hotel only 3 floors, everywhere is clean and tidy, it's a quiet hotel, don't hear anything at night, there's never a queue for the bar, restaurant, the lift etc, plenty of room around the pool, the staff are great, all very helpful, it's a small hotel so they couldn't have masses amount of choice for meal times, it wouldn't be practical for them, every meal time there's good quality food, a choice of 3-4 cold options as well as 3-4 choices of hot options, the desserts are great, the drinks are served in plastic type beakers if you're going to the pool area,if these aren't big enough for you ask for 2! Bar area you get glass, and you're only a 10 min walk to the main faliraki ***** where there's loads of bars and restaurants to chose from if required, you can drink as much as you want till 10.30pm at the hotel. This hotel prob doesn't have much to offer if you're bringing children, but if you want a truly relaxing holiday, this place fits the bill and it was cheap as chips!

After booking this hotel on a whim from photos and description only was unfortunately bad on us as from the reviews we read after booking made out you don’t stay where the pictures show.. So we was very apprehensive about going for a few months. The pictures advertised are very modern very sleek but there are about 5 different blocks and only the main block on top of reception are from the photos. We arrived about 1am and walked up to the reception area and looked over and it looked lovely just like the photos. The reception was quiet but the guy was on and he was very welcoming. He showed us to our room (which wasn’t the main area) he showed us how to use the air con and gave us a paper bag of some food as it was late. The block we was put In wasn’t the photos for sure but it was very clean and not quite what a lot of the reviews said. Shower was abit rubbish but I have visited Greece many times over the years and Greece is pretty basic and white and I think a lot of people forget that when they come visit any of the Greek islands unless they’re paying for fancy 5 star hotels. Staff are lovely, note that Steffania on the bar is very chatty and kind. Did find a gent to be quite rude during our stay which we later found out was the manager. He would smile at young women and then when you came to the bar his face would change as if I’d purposely gone out the way to be rude which wasn’t the case. It was a shame as when he was around you could tell as staff went very quiet or looked on edge? Also watched this guy pick up a dirty nappy by the pool area and wash his hands into the pool as he must of got something on his hands…gross. Food was very basic, it certainly wasn’t food I’ve ever had in an all inclusive, I did wonder why at lunch so many people had just piles of chips and then I realised why lol You’d find breakfast was lovely, Lunch was un edible and dinner was hit and miss. I would like to say one of the evenings there was gouvesti being offered (traditional Greek orzo pasta rice with steak pieces in a tomato sauce) which I absolutely adore while in Greece (and I’ve made at home several times) and to be fair it was one of the nicest meals I’d had..which was a shame that out of the 7 nights. Avoid chicken nuggets too I’ve never ever seen grey/black chicken like that before? All inclusive drinks were odd, there is only one bar and one bar person at any one time. So there’s always a queue which can be frustrating at lunch or dinner when you have to queue up and your food is just sat on the table getting cold. Most of the “cocktails” offered didn’t include alcohol until asked if we wanted that so that was odd. The manager made cockatiels that we’re not to standard as from a photo I added. The tiniest drop of grenadine in the ice cube (you noticed when he was on the bar other guests would avoid the bar area) Close to falaraki which is quiet now, close to beach and easy enough to walk or bus to areas you need to go. If all rooms were the sam

Upon arrival late at night with my daughter for our all inclusive holiday was advised that we had no room and was led to another apartment block outside of the hotel, night reception man carried all our bags which made me fear that I was being taken to somewhere rubbish, he apologised and advised us to come to reception of the actual hotel we booked after our breakfast. They did change our room the afternoon of the next day. Hotel was pretty disappointing after all that, would not return, did meet some lovely people, that’s the only plus

We really enjoyed our stay at Olympia sun. The staff was very friendly especially Despoina, Stefania and Giorgios. We already are planning our next visit in 2024 just to have another taste of the delicious desserts. Location was great. Thank you

We arrived late 11.45 went to check in and immediately the night watch man told us the hotel was fully booked and we were being sent to another hotel for a couple of nights …. So we was whisked off to what I can only say was the hotel out of the imbetweeners film …. We had booked half board at the Olimpia sun so presumed this hotel was the same …. The hotel was called the Tivoli … under any circumstances I repeat do not stay there …. Awful place in the middle of know where ! Serves breakfast only !!!! We couldn’t wait to get back to the olimpia … they upgraded us to all inclusive as a good will gesture and put us in a pool view room … so all in all if it wasn’t for being messed about this review would be 10/10 for olimpia sun … great location … nice clean place … food usual all inclusive .. had to guess a couple of times what the food was … but we ate out nearly every night … lovely walk into falaraki lovely bars and restaurants on the way …. Bar street was great … Jimmy Karaoke was top … our son flew out a couple of days before us to the olimpia sun and was shipped off to another resort … not sure what was going on there but we spoke to loads of people that it had happened to … so just be warned if u do book there u may get shipped off somewhere …. Will defo be back to falaraki it’s a beautiful place … use the bus too as it’s much cheaper than taxis … 2 euros to Rhodes town … 1.50 to Antony Quinn bay …
