Muses Hotel

It was a really bad experience... dirty rooms, air conditioner leaking water inside, ants everywhere, inedible breakfast in a dingy room. We left after two nights, we should have stayed for 10 days, but we would have ruined our holidays! Among other things, we didn't come across any other customers, it looked like a ghost house!

Very dated, unprofessional (hotel) accommodation. You can't call it a hotel. Breakfast very poor, nothing is cooled, no coffee maker but a kettle with limescale on all sides and a jar of Nescafe next to it. First check whether the dishes are clean. The same every day, check the tomatoes and cucumber first, they were really not fresh, even spoiled once. The room simple mattresses were planks so hard. The balcony view was a bush so there were a lot of mosquitoes. Really couldn't do without air conditioning, so we spent an extra 7 euros every day, not at this time, we thought that was included, which is normal. In our view, the owner is an exploiter, he is not active and really does nothing for his guests. Nothing is done about the garden and the swimming pool stinks and is just green. NO NEVER AGAIN FOR US AND ADVISE EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!!!!!!

Very low standard of the hotel. The room was clean but poorly equipped. Air conditioning in the room costs an additional fee of EUR 7 per day (if you do not pay, you will not receive a remote control from the reception to turn it on). The bathtub in the bathroom was so small that my husband could barely take a bath. The hotel swimming pool area stinks of sewage and you can't use it. Breakfasts are worse than in the school canteen 20 years ago. Every day, yellow cheese, two low-quality cold cuts, cucumber, tomato, hard-boiled egg, feta cheese, Greek yogurt, jam, two types of milk flakes, canned peaches and watermelon - after a week you don't want to eat breakfast anymore.

Arriving late in the evening, we discovered at our expense (literally) that NOTHING IS AS IT SEEMS!!! We paid €49 just to have the air conditioner remote control (detail not specified anywhere at the time of booking); when we arrived in the room, this was completely different from the images we had seen and from the one we had booked. To brush our teeth we flooded the bathroom due to a leak, so we opted to wash them in the tub (our room should have had a shower) and the icing on the cake: THERE WAS NO HOT WATER! (No hairdryer or shower gel) So cold shower since there was no 24 hour reception as scheduled. The next day we go to complain, and after having changed 4 rooms, each with a different problem (broken air conditioner, broken window, dirty room... all this coming and going with suitcases in tow, making it very hot and a totally wasted morning) they finally assign us the room which we had seen when booking, but to have it we would have had to shell out an additional €240, which after a series of negotiations dropped to €150 (as if he had done us a big favour). Really nice room (no bubble bath, but with hairdryer included) however even here, late in the evening there was no hot water (but in the afternoon there was). Hand soap never topped up, even though we had left a sign, shower mat never changed (because it was always damp), other towels changed if requested. REPETITIVE BREAKFAST!!! Ingredients: - HOT JUICE (cold orange juice €3) - Coffee - Small plate with cured meats, cheese, cucumber and tomato (if you ask for oil it's only optional, apparently at the owner's discretion, because the girl serving at the tables PRETEND not to understand the word “oil”) - Toast (if you liked it it was slightly golden, but usually it was white as snow) - Jar of jam. WAIT (every morning), approximately 40 minutes. 🤦🏻‍♀️ HYGIENE: VERY POOR!!! In response to those who gave a rating of 4.7/5: see photo (and enlarge the one of the salt shaker). For the rest... MAGICAL ISLAND!!!
