very mixed review . There is no doubting the staff are lovely especially in the restaurant and the restaurant manager. The pool area is also very nice . Now for the not so good, we had a shared pool room which was a waste of time as never gets the sun, the area was very tatty with pain peeling off the floor . The room was OK but also had paint peeling off the wall, the corridors suffered the same issue along with an aging dirty carpet . We wouldn't return .

We stayed at Calypso Palace for four nights before going to Calypso Beach. Really helpful and nice employees everywhere. We had suite which was renovated, nice and quiet, and had huge bathroom. This is the place if you just want to relax in a quiet environment. There were families with younger kids as well but not so much to do for smaller kids. Guests staying here can use all the armenities at Calypso Beach. Meals were a bit repetitive but we never left the restaurant with empty stomach. Food and branded drinks always good quality! Hotel would benefit from broad renovation as all the areas out-dated expect one seating area and suites. We could easily return here!

We stayed in a swim up room on the 4th floor, this is the main floor with the main pool, bar and restaurant. The room was very modern with a super comfy bed, lots of chairs, a great waterfall shower and of course the swim up pool with two sunbeds outside the door. Everything was very clean. Overall the room was one of the best I've stayed in at any hotel. The restaurant and bar were great offering a good selection however the quality could've been better on some occasions. Some of the foods seemed very oily and like they had been sitting for a while. Despite this the food was still overall good and better than most all inclusive hotels. The cocktails in the bar were excellent with lots of choice and using branded spirits. The hotel definitely seems to cater to German guests as a majority; the staff all defaulted to speak in German and all other guests were German. This isn't an issue to me but I know others may not appreciate this. Staff were all friendly and helped us feel welcome.

We can’t fault this hotel. They honestly couldn’t do enough for us. We checked in 4hrs early hoping to use the pool but we were given the keys to our room. Complementary mini bar and wine in the room. Also had the full use of Calypso beach hotel. All the staff were amazing and friendly. Food was varied and plentiful. The best iced frappe I have ever had. Hotel was so clean and comfortable. We were able to book a 2nd room on our departure day and continued to have use of all facilities. We booked this hotel following a week’s sailing around the most beautiful Greek islands and we were blessed with our choice of hotel to finish off an amazing week. We would most certainly book again in the future. Thanks to the team at both Calypso hotel for an amazing stay.

Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer sind sauber und schon renoviert. Die Betten sehr bequem. Das Personal immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Täglicher Zimmerservice. Essen ausreichend und immer frisch. Selbst bei den Getränken bleibt kein Wunsch offen.

Wir waren für mehrere Tage in diesem Hotel (Calypso Palace) und leider entsprach es nicht ganz unseren Erwartungen. • Die Anlage wirkt auf den Fotos im Internet deutlich moderner, in Wirklichkeit ist nur der Zimmerbereich renoviert, der Rest ist eher altmodisch. • Beim Essen hatten wir mehr Auswahl erwartet. Zwar war es geschmacklich in Ordnung, aber die Vielfalt war sehr begrenzt. • Durch die Nutzungsmöglichkeit des Schwesternhotels war zwar mehr Angebot vorhanden, allerdings war es dort extrem überfüllt, sodass man nicht wirklich entspannen konnte. • Der größte Kritikpunkt: die Hellhörigkeit der Zimmer (vor allem in der 2. und 3. Etage). Man hört ab früh morgens jedes Geräusch aus der Lobby – insbesondere das Schieben von Tischen und Stühlen. Vier Nächte lang war an erholsamen Schlaf nicht zu denken, erst nach einem Zimmerwechsel wurde es besser. Positiv hervorheben möchte ich allerdings das Personal – besonders im Restaurant und an der Bar. Alle waren sehr freundlich und bemüht, was wir wirklich geschätzt haben. Fazit: Leider kein wirklich erholsamer Aufenthalt. Die Zimmer sind modernisiert, aber die restliche Anlage, die Lautstärke und die fehlende Ruhe machen viel vom Urlaubserlebnis zunichte – einzig das Personal hat einen guten Eindruck hinterlassen.

Es fehlte an nichts, Personal ist super freundlich, immer zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und gut drauf. Als Gast wird man 24/7 verwöhnt und umsorgt. Hotel ist sauber und DER Reiseorganisation absolut zuverlässig. Küche authentisch, vielfältig und delikat.

Normalerweise würde ich dieses Hotel nicht so schlecht bewerten, aber die Gesamtpunktzahl spiegelt nicht den Wert des Hotels. Ich bin auch relativ leicht zufrieden zu stellen - aber das ist das schlechteste Hotel in dem ich je war. Ich fang mal mit dem positiven an: das Personal war nett. Dann zu den negativen Punkten. Die Zimmer, die auf den ersten Blick neu erscheinen, wirken auf den zweiten verlebt. Die Wände dünn wie Pappe. Es ist laut, und zwar Tag und Nacht. Vor dem schmuddeligen Balkon liegen blaue Müllttüten. Das die Gänge in die Jahre gekommen sind, wurde bereits erwähnt. Der Aufzug stinkt beim öffnen der Tür. Beim Essen hat man die Auswahl zw. fettig und süß. Die Qualität ist einfach schlecht. Die erste Nacht war ich leider wenig im Bett, sondern mehr auf der Toilette. Nie wieder dieses Hotel. Ich kann jedem empfehlen, wo anders seinen Urlaub zu verbringen.
