Definitely wouldn’t class this as a 4 star hotel. When we checked in to our room, we immediately went back to the restaurant to get some food before it finished, and later on we made our way back to the room after a long day, only to be greeted by a puddle of water on the floor right in front of the door which my husband slipped on nearly landing on his back, but luckily he caught his balance. There was a leak from the light on the sealing. We were at the opposite side of the hotel, about a five minute walk to reception which is where we headed due to the phone not working in the room. We mentioned the issue and was told someone would come and fix it but for now to place down towels and to not use the light. We waited 2 days before reporting again and the hotel had no idea it was leaking, but assured us it will be looked at. We then went back another 2 days later and again there was no notes or anything to suggest we had reported anything. After the two reminders (alongside a number of staff seeing it and commenting, we finally had maintenance come (after 5 days of waiting… only 2 left of the holiday). They successfully fixed the leak after cutting a square hole into the ceiling which was not a pleasant sight for the remaining of the days we were there. Health and safety was very questionable here, extension cables left (Switched on) right next to the main pool. Not only this, but the pool was a vile, opaque Green for four days of our stay… later finding out on trust pilot that this has happened in more than one occasion. The food was okay, some dishes (Mainly pasta) were very watery. Drinks taste like pure gasoline mixed with fruity notes, not enjoyable and the entertainment was okay if you were a family with kids. We didn’t have a pleasant experience so I definitely wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone and I certainly wouldn’t stay again. This was our honeymoon so we felt very disappointed.
