This place reflects its place. Humble, kind and generous. The rooms are well appointed without being pretentious. It is nestles in the hills above a small quaint beach town. Yet has the quiet sophistication of being our a small city. A reasonable drive from much Greek history - great location to day trip from.

A lovely family hotel but some distance out of katamala , It was very quiet and never saw many other guests ! Unfortunately it’s way up on a hill and a car is required ! But this gives wonderful views from all rooms ! The hotel is lacking in atmosphere but beautiful flower arrangements everywhere ! The lights in the lifts are very strong and unpleasant but really lovely otherwise ! A very sudden and dangerous turn into the hotel with a difficult path up to the hotel ! But worth it fir the views ! Service was good for Greece !

This place looks like a ‘lost glory’: what a great view on the bay, but the rooms are dark, without any tea or coffee, no ironing possible in the room, only rooms at the top floor (why such a huge restaurant area with this little amount of rooms). The rooms simply need a new set of bright paint and the bathrooms look very old fashioned. The pool itself is great, describing (as they do) it as an infinity pool requires a lot of imagination. In other words, this is far from being a 4 star hotel. At their defense: all is clean and functional. The driveway to the lobby is very steep, but there is plenty of parking space. Breakfast was OK, but not more than that. E.g. coffee is American coffee only (with the typical drip coffee you as you find it in the USA), and on top of that: the coffee was not very warm. I’m still a bit puzzled by the hotel configuration: if it is meant for e.g. weddings, the place is great as guests can sleep at the same location. That is, if the number of guests are limited. They have +/- 2- rooms in total.

The view from the pool was so comfortable and amazing that we camped out for the afternoon and ordered food and drinks at surprisingly reasonable prices. The hotel was lovely and spacious...and a bargain. It was the perfect setup for a relaxing break during a lot of moving around and seeing sights.

The group that posted multiple similar bad reviews for things that were their own fault should be banned from Trip Advisor. We liked this hotel, had no issues, and there was good communication. The hotel is unusual -- almost Scandanavian in feel -- clean, minimalist, somewhat cold decor. Every room is on the top floor with a large balcony and views of the water. Minimal staff, but the young man who staffed the bar/restaurant was pleasant and competent. There is an on-site bar and restaurant but we were oddlly the only people at dinner, even though the hotel was fairly full. Too bad because the food was very good, if service was a bit slow. Quiet and the AC worked well. Bed comfortable but pillows very thick. Warning: The hotel is a 10-minute drive from Kalamata. We liked the quiet of the location, but it makes getting into town for a dinner or drink more difficult.

Unprofessional staff!!! So rude! He almost kicked us out of the hotel! There was a pre-booking for me and my colleague for 1 and 2 nights respectively. We came one day after the planned date and the owner of the hotel literally kicked us out! He had cancelled our reservation without even calling first and had already issued the invoice and sent it to our company! When we asked if my colleague could use the room for the 2nd night he said that since we didn’t check in the first night there was no reservation at all!!! He claimed that this is a global policy! He got the money without even trying to help us! Totally unprofessional!

IT'S FOR 4.7/5!!! As a location, it is excellent, up on the mountain. It is worth going all the way there, even if it looks like a location from afar. There are 15 steps to climb, but next to it there is a corridor without steps if you want. The reception is polite and prompt in service. As provided, the rooms are spacious and full of everything as provided!!! It has a small TV, the only negative. The pool is excellent that ends and then the cliff begins!!! The prices at the bar are relatively good, i.e. we got 1 coffee, 1 juice and 1 toast for 12.80. and 1 club sandwich and 1 coke 14. Let's go to breakfast now. Well, it has varieties in most of them and quality. I would like a bigger variety in the puff pastry, in the types of jam, i.e. I think the breakfast is not for 4*. There was an issue with the shower that didn't suck the water easily. The 2nd day that I said, the plumber came, everything was ok. However, the cleaners 21/08 in the morning are very helpful, they do more than they should, they struggled to fix it. The staff is one of the most polite and efficient I have ever seen!!! IT'S NOT THE FAULT OF THE NEONYMPHOS, THIS IS THE PESEPSION. OTHERWISE THINK ABOUT MAPKETING, YOU CAN HAVE A WEDDING IN THE AYGOYS WITH A FULL HOTEL, JUST DON'T RUN FROM TOYPISMO. THE RECEPTIONIST APOLOGIZED OF COURSE.BUT HE IS THE TALKMAN LOSES MY 5*. AND NOT A BROWN TREAT FOR THE AFTERNOON SLEEP. THEY ALSO OBLIGATE YOU TO PAY THE AMOUNT IN ADVANCE. 1ST TIME I HEAR THAT IN MY LIFE. EXCEPT FOR THAT IT'S AWESOME AND WILL BE COMING AGAIN!

I went for the first time with my 4 month old baby, the room was for its money it was very basic and old, I asked for a cot and they didn't put a mattress in it, it didn't have hot water for a whole night for the baby and it was full of ants running around in the sterile the baby's things and which we also brought on the way back to Athens.. The worst of all, even though the water damage was repaired and I was given a mattress (as if they were doing me a favor) was the rudeness of the person in charge who was all excuses and in the end didn't he was already talking to me. Difficulty also to find someone at the reception late at night and early in the morning.. A lot of money and we could find something better. Disappointing…
