No air conditioning OR fan! Went to bed to the sound of very LOUD, live disco music from the pool area. I complained repeatedly but ended up having to use ear plugs, hold the pillow over my ear, and eventually take a sleeping pill. In the morning, unbelievably, I woke to loud construction noise as they were erecting scaffolding for renovations right across the hall from my bedroom door. Then they let it be known that they had fumigation of the entire hotel (including the beds) at 10AM. I made sure to get out of there before that.

Collins at the bar is the best..... He is so professional and kind He is easy to interact with I felt so so special Please promote him any time soon The service was amazing I also love the hot shower The duvet are amazing I was here for a 2 days workshop and I really loved everything

I highly recommend the Gulf Hotel in Kakamega to anyone visiting the region and especially to international travelers. The hotel is beautiful and has many amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful in every way. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast buffet is so good! The rooms are well appointed and clean and the beds are very comfortable! I will be back!

It is a nice place to be ,next time we gona come with more friends to visit this place again and am sure they will enjoy as I have the place is super cool with it's delicious meals and good welcoming staff ,the staff gave humbled time to do all that we can do with good direction

The bathtub hd the most amazing experience. Water at the right temperature The Mulembe chicken was deliciously done and goes very well with brown ugali and traditional veges

The service is amazing. Went there for afterschool ice cream with my son. It was quiet, calm. Just what we needed to hide from the hot kakamega sun and just rhe perfect reception for a stressful day. The staff are very helpful. They check up on you, very kind and welcoming. The service time is fast and the wait time is super minimal. Felt very appreciated actually. They are accommodating and kind. The ambience is cool and very relaxing. Perfect for a quiet chillout. The air is clean. They've got trees. No noise from traffic. Loved it. Thank you.
