Kaiteriteri Reserve Apartments

This is the second year in a row we have been camping here. This year got a prime spot in s right on the beach. Huge sites. Felt very safe with the amount of park rangers around. I could hear them checking teenagers pockets as they went to the beach with booze. Had one loud night with teenagers. Luckily we took some ear plugs. Kids had a great time. All they want ro do is play at the beach and could happily spend all day there

We booked to stay here for 4 nights and ended up staying for 12.... Such a beautiful place deserves an extended period of time and it definitely didn't disappoint! We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this campground and will absolutely be back in the future. We loved all the wild life wandering around camp... Ducklings, Wekas, the sound of moreporks... And the beach was literally a stones throw away. The period we have stayed has been incredibly busy, but if you don't mind that you will love it here as much as we have, i can only imagine how beautiful and serene it would be here in the off-season. The sites are all really decent size and the staff are all so lovely! We met some really down to earth people here and loved chatting to our "neighbours" everyday. The only improvement (albeit very minor! ) that I can think of would be to extend the shower times beyond 6 minutes, which would be really helpful for individuals who have disabilities, injuries or health challenges (8 or even 10 would be ideal!) but otherwise I can wholeheartedly say we really have loved our stay here and will be sad to say goodbye at the end of the week! One of the best beaches in New Zealand - well managed. Excellent facilities and gorgeous beach. Lots of walks nearby. Family friendly and safe with lots to do. Sunny and beautiful. I was there on New Year's Eve and felt safe and secure as there were lots of staff on site.

We stayed in apartment 7, best view by far. Friendly receptionist, clean & well equipped apartment. Great shower. Stayed as part of a bike group on the Great Taste Trail. Lovely modern kitchen. Nice smelling toiletries provided. Ask for apartment 7!!

Everything about our 3 night stay was great. Room #7 is right in front with beautiful beach & water views. Kitchen is fully stocked with full size refrigerator and freezer. Washer & dryer included. One parking space included, which eliminated the need to find a space. Bathroom is large and modern with plenty of hot water. Would definitely stay here again.
