Kaikoura, New Zealand is a special place, whale watching in Kaikoura is world class, and Hampton's B&B is world class, special and unique. A two room boutique accommodation, spacious rooms, well appointed, super comfortable beds, great location, private garden patio and breakfast made to order. This hotel is boutique, bed and breakfast and very personal in every sense of the words and great in every way. The owner/operators ( Patrick and Mary ) are warm, professional, generous, engaging and interesting, but also know what they are doing : they offer good restaurant recommendations, will drop you off in town by car if you want, and have your breakfast ready when you want it. The rooms are spotlessly clean, everything works, breakfast foods are fresh and the homemade cookies in the rooms are delicious. As unique and special as the location itself. Thank you Patrick and Mary, the photo of us on the whale watching cruise is for you. The sunrise seen from the beach in front of your place is for everyone else.

Wonderful stay at The Hamptons, the position right on the seafront is stunning with fabulous views from the room. The accommodation is great with lovely, friendly hosts and tasty breakfast. Could not fault anything and would 100% recommend.

Excellent stay in this very comfortable accommodation. The hosts Patrick and Mary Clare were very welcoming and super friendly throughout the visit. Breakfast served at the table whilst enjoying fun conversation with both hosts and other guests. Great location on the sea facing esplanade.

Cannot praise this place too highly. A rare find, from the welcome from Patrick and Mary-Clare to the views across the bay and mountains, everything was perfect. The room with huge ensuite was spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean with a view to die for. The breakfast was delicious and it was great to spot dolphins from the window! Book if you can get in because this place is truly special.

Awesome, great hosts, wonderful location, spectacular sunrises. There is little more to be said - a purpose built B&B run by wonderful hosts (Patrick & Mary-Clare), located directly on the bay in Kaikoura. Not to be missed if you are looking for a place to stay if you are Whale Watching in Kaikoura.
